Physical Description:
Saito is by no means a giant of a man, he is what one would consider 'normal' for a human. Well muscled, his body covered in old scars, and his face always like the surface of glass, Saito comes off as a little scary to some, though this is not his purpose. Saito maintains a composed disposition wherever he goes and very rarely allows emotion to break this ice he has built up through years of experience. Though aging by human standards, Saito shows little signs of it, his night black hair perhaps has a few gray streaks in it but that's the only telling of Saito's age.

Personality Description:
Saito could be considered cold by those who do not know the man personally and those that do, distant. Maintaining a mask of cold command, Saito has schooled his emotions into submission and manages to retain control of his senses in almost any circumstance. Saito is not a violent man and turns to diplomacy in most trying circumstances. He believes that true peace in a modern world cannot be enforced by the sword, it must be nurtured through a clear head and calming words, but reinforced by a poisoned edge. While against violence in general, Saito has no problem reverting to it should a predicament arise where words are not always enough. This schooling of emotion as well as a high natural intelligence has allowed for Saito to become both a monster in diplomacy and on the battlefield and has allowed for him to successful bring all the races together in a harmonious relationship. It is important to note though that Saito is extremely protective of both his town and more importantly his daughter.

History: Saito was born to a so called 'monster' hunting family and he was raised to follow his parents in their footstep. From an early age he was taught to master his emotions and how to hunt down and kill any and all life forms that were not human. Vampires were undead mindless machines who only spread violence, Werewolves were untrained animals that needed to be leashed or put down, and fallen angels were the devil spawn that started it all. Saito always had trouble with these ideas, he never fully agreed with his parents extreme views. Every time he met one of these so called 'monsters' and 'devils' he could see the spark of intelligence in their eyes and see the very human emotions they expressed. As a result, Saito decided for himself that he would only hunt down those monsters that harmed humans.

Saito became a sort of agent for hire after his parents passed away during a hunt, hunting down those with a bounty on their head or any creature that had harmed a human in the past. As the years passed he became extremely proficient at his occupation and was both hated by those who wished harm upon the humans and feared by those who merely wished to escape persecution. As Saito grew older and stronger, he fell in love and married, but he never did give up hunting, it was after all a very lucrative if dangerous business. Saito never did like hunting, but it was the only trade he knew and brought it more then enough income to support his family. This, and Saito's whole life changed five years ago.

While Saito was away on a hunt, a long time enemy of Saito, and one that had always eluded Saito, found the location of the Hailel home. The vampire had been hunted by Saito some years ago after his mate and him killed a small family of farmers on the outskirt of a human settlement. In a fairly drawn out hunt, Saito managed to kill his mate and seriously wound the vampire, something the vampire would never forget. So, when the vampire discovered Saito's home, he was more then eager to return the favor. In the middle of the night, the vampire broke into the Hailel home, brutally murdered Saito's wife and kidnapped his twelve year old daughter, leaving a note to Saito, telling him where he could recover his daughter.

After discovering what had happened, it would be safe to say that Saito lost not only his well kept emotions, but a bit of his soul. It took him four days to catch up to the vampire, during which time the vampire had slowly tortured Rose until near death before just that night, forcing her to become a vampire. Ultimately though, the vampire's plan failed. He was not prepared to face Saito's unbridled anger and he was quickly overpowered by Saito and killed, very slowly and painfully. After the hunt was done though, Saito was at a loss of what to do with Rose who was yet unconscious and despite being turned, barely holding onto life. Saito is to this day ashamed that he thought of mercy killing Rose and then turning his anger against all of vampire kind. He quickly killed the thought that night though and returned to his home, collecting a few belongings, and leaving town.

Rose awoke two days later, her vampire abilities already healing her wounds but she did not talk much outside of a few nods or shaking of her head for yes or no. The next few weeks, Saito struggled with what he had been taught as a child, and the new position Rose was now in. Did Rose being turned make any less of the Rose she was before? Was she still by definition Human? and for that matter, what did 'being human' mean? What of the other so called 'creatures' that he had spent his life hunting? Were they truthfully any different then Rose was now? After all, evil humans existed as well, so couldn't all of the races be 'human'?

It was from these questions and others that Saito's vision of Lindville was born. A settlement where all of the races were not at each others throats. Where humans did not discriminate against others, and there was no need of hunters or the repeated violence, often vengeance, on the part of the other races. The construction of Lindville would be a long and arduous process, but it was finally created, a perfect home and a perfect peace for himself, for Rose, and for any who would follow it's law's and join them in the peace.

Items:
Saito owns a modest house in town that is well known for a large shaded garden in the back. The garden is covered in a type of mesh tent that weakens the sunlight just enough that Rose can read, garden, or enjoy the day without being harmed or the plants stunted in their growth. The house is modestly furnished at best. In terms of weapons, Saito has two single edges swords he keeps in pristine condition, he also has two handguns and a few bullets for each. These he keeps only for the rarest of emergency's because of how rare bullets are.
