"Oh the sacrifices made when you trade your humanity for the ability to walk again."
Back when she was human, Kira was one who was sunny and cheerful the best she could be when the time allotted. But do not be fooled, when she was alone and human, she used to stare at herself in the mirror in sorrow. Her current passion is being a Ballet Instructor for the Russian Institute back at home and she manages with just her upper half of teaching professionals. But she longs for a chance to walk again, let alone dance again. Sometimes she'll go in angry fits when by herself, one time breaking a mirror with her fist and causing some scars along her right hand. Something that she didn't like to talk about when brought up.
As an animal, and walking... she is quite different. She doesn't like the idea of being a predator. She tries not to harm other hybrids yet sometimes her instincts get the best of her. Kira loves to run as a Cheetah though, but who wouldn't after being paralyzed for eight years? However, when her instincts are more humane, she is like a happier version of herself. She understands the pain that others go through and wishes to help them. However, she is in constant struggle with herself over decision of being human or animal.
Her only equipment is her claws. Other manmade tools to try to remain human are classic weapons such as the spear she later acquires.
Growing up, Kira had a normal life and at the age of three, started her long career of ballet... and loved every moment of it. Yet happiness always comes to an end. Wheel-chair bound. Kira could never walk again when she was sixteen. Reason being, ever since that car accident when an intoxicated driver crashed into her head on. She became paralyzed from the waist down and started to live the best life she could. Some years later, Kira found out that the Americans found a cure to walk again and it was a matter of a simple injection. Being curious and determined, Kira decided to take upon herself to go. After a plane ticket and heading over to the laboratory, it was to her udder horror when she found out through floating creatures in glass chambers and different vials that this was not what she thought. Against her will, a scientist injected her with Cheetah DNA and shipped her to The Island. Now it is time to adapt to her new surroundings.
