Alex crouched on top of the large sky scraper that used to be the GENTEK labs. He looked down at the city of New York, observing its reconstruction. Since the Blacklight virus had been contained in secure zones of the city, his fight had become far easier. Then there was the recent incident. Multiple portals had opened up around the city, seeming to spawn unknown and powerful beings. The city itself seemed to change, infected zones becoming clean the infected again. It was something unsettling to him. He stood up and leaned over the side of the building. He then stepped off the roof of the 50 story building, the wind blowing around him as gravity pulled him down. When he was 20 feet from the ground, he flipped and landed in a crouch, causing a crater to form and erupt around him, causing debris from the ground to fly up and scatter. He stood up again and started to walk towards the nearest military base. He then burst into a sprint, moving so fast he was a blur and his feet left large imprints in the ground.

As he neared the military base he jumped over the high and protected wall, the marine in the tower over-watching the wall was about to fire when Alex shifted his arm into the whipfist. and shoved it into the mans head, splitting it into shreds. He then landed in the center of the base and looked around. Multiple marines were approaching him, each one armed. He smirked and converted to his claws before preparing to fight. Hopefully, this would attract the attention of some of the new comers.

Johnson emerges at the sight of Alex, his SPARTAN-I suit gleaming in the lights. "Stand down, we don't wanna hurt you." He says activating an energy sword and bringing up his SMG.

Cynder looked around the side of the military building and saw that Johnson was facing off with some man. Cynder walked around to the side of the biulding and her tail swished her tail back and forth as she sat down to watch the fight. This had to be her favorite pasttime when it came to hanging around the Military Biulding.

Alex turned around as he heard a gruff voice command him to stand down, his claws turning back into his normal hands. This human seemed to be wearing a more advanced armor then the Black watch soldiers and marines that surrounded him. His weapons also seemed more advanced, especially the strange sword he carried. "Your not going to get me to surrender with words alone." He said coldly. A marine suddenly shot Alex, the bullets passing right through him. "Pathetic." He said shifting his arms back into the claws and shoving one into the ground. A second later, large black spikes erupted under a group of marines, impaling a large number of them and splitting them apart. He the took his hand out of the ground as the pikes went back under ground.

Johnson charges straight at Alex, his training kicking in as he fires until he comes within CQC range. He jumps up, and stabs down towards Alex.

Aqua started to wander around Destiny Islands while Sora, Riku and Kairi were asleep.
She was visiting after she hadn't seen them for ten years.
Each year, she had gotten even more worried since the darkness had grown and she hadn't seen Terra and Ventus didn't awaken yet.
Aqua found the wayfinders that she had learned about then she started to write in the sand, Never let the darkness take over... ~Aqua

As the soldier fired his weapon at Alex, the bullets passed through him, the wunds healing almost instantly. As the energy sword was sent through him he gave a slight groan. The weaponburned him as well as cut through him. He glared at the soldier and grabbed his arm with his çlaws, removing the weapon and throwing him back. He then shifted to the blade and glared at him. "What's next."

"Your life smartass." Johnson gets back up, and pulls out the trusty combat knife. He rushes in, and suddenly disappears. He disarms the Active Camo behind Alex, and puts the knife right next to his Jugular. "Game over, now surrender." he hisses, knife poised to kill.

As Alex feels the knige to his neck he remains blank. He then shifts his arm into the muscle mass, quickly grabbing the mans arm and flipping him over his should. "Bullets can't kill me. You think a knife can?" He said shifting back to the claws.

Cynder watched amused by the fight that was probely never going to be won. What if Johnson couldn't win the fight? That would be a very unsual outcome , Cynder thought about helping a time or two but sat down to watch again. Cynder sniffled a time or two before she sneezed and sent a ball of acid towards the fighters , she waited for a minute to see what would happen.

"What the Hell?" Johnson rolls just in time to miss the acid.

Cynder let out her breath as it missed Johnson , she layed back down to see what they would do next. Every once in a while she would play with the blue fire before looking back to the fight.

Sephiroth smiled cruelly at Cloud and just pressed his Katana even deeper into his shoulder. "Tell me what you most cherish."He said in a sly voice. "Give me the pleasure of being able to take it away."Cloud felt the warm blood soak through his black leather pants and pour into the small puddle that was already forming around his muscled body.
Suddenly a fog formed over his eyes and Cloud was taken back in time. He saw Zach smiling down at him, Ariel looking at his awakening body, Tifa giving him a beautiful smile, and finally, one of the little kids staring at him. Then, he was back in the present.
Sephiroth looked down at him and Cloud looked around. This is what I cherish, he thought. This world. Cloud lashed out, grabbed Sephiroth's blade, and pushed it out of his shoulder. Cloud picked up his buster sword and slashed. Sephiroth easily jumped back and avoided it but Cloud just looked at him. "I pity you." He said. "You just don't get it." Cloud sprinted towards Sephiroth and launched him into the air. He bent down, spun his buster sword above his head, and jumped up at Seph.
Cloud's sword glowed blue as he said these last words. "There's not a thing I don't cherish." And then he got transported to a whole new dimension.

The Italian plumber stood triumphantly as he reached the first castle of World one. Perhaps if Bowser stopped kidnapping the princess, they'd actually get some alone time.
Maybe she likes to get kidnapped...
Mario shook the thought away from his head as he opened the tall gothic doors to gain entrance, then were automatically slammed behind, locking themselves. No escape. What magic Bowser had infused his castle's with in the Mushroom Kingdom Mario had not the slightest clue. The floors were pure stone, smooth, and neatly assorted, upon the edges of these stone platforms was a river of flowing lava, which heat can only be matched with the hottest of days in the Desert World.

This Plumber however was brave, to say the least as he jumped platform-to-platform not even flinching at the undead Koopa's that started to slowly appear. They were of necromancery and unkillable, even as Mario jumped up and landed on it's skull, the bones can only fall over so nonchalently before it started to twitch and attach it's own skeleton together.
Not new to Mario though, as there are worser things. When the World became flat, then things were out of control.

He abandoned the Undead Koopa jumping to another platform skillfully in his brown shoes and immediatly stopped in his place at the sight that was in front of him. Goombas. The lowest class of Bowser's minions.
They were coming out from the floors, walls, and even tha lava itself in mass numbers. It seems as there was whole army hidden inside such a tiny castle.
This wasn't normal. Especially the booming voices that came from nowhere.
"Hey! What'd you do?"
"Relax, I just modded it for a bit of a challnge."

Suddenly they swarmed Mario, the confused plumber, who's reflex was to jump up and squish them like pancakes. But there was too many, Mario even did flips as he traversed through the castle.
Wait a second- Flips? He hasn't done that sort of thing since Bowser kidnapped Peach in her own castle...
"Bullshit! You want this project to fail don't you?"
"Patient is reacting to outside stimuli!"
"Give him the sedative!"
"I am!"
Mario's palms started to burn as a ring of fire circled around the outside of his glove, fireballs forming- but no Fire flower was touched.
"It's not working!"
"Mercer's outside! Wake up the subject!"
As each red fireball made contact with every approaching enemy, they fell over and dissapeared only to have may more in their place.
"What!"
"He's going to kill us! Why else is Mercer here?"
The two scientists looked at each other, a moment of silence ensued before they started to drain the tank, then evacuated the building to flee for their lives.

All of a sudden, the world became black. Dark. No music even played.
Pure blackness.
Mario's eyes widened as his gloved fist made contact with the glass tube he became trapped in, taking a gasp of air and coughed out all the water that was in his lungs. He stepped out of the pod, his wet clothing seemed to dry up instantly as it made contact with the GENTEK labratory floor. There was his red hat on top of a table and his giant hammer right next to it.
A simple note was placed on the table that read:
Welcome to New York City.
...
"Mama mia." Were the silent words that escaped The Plumber.

Cynder got up from her brooding spot and walked away from the military building , it was getting to boring for her there. She missed Spyro , Ignitus , Terror , Voluteer , and the other one who she always seemed to forget about. Cynder walked for few moments before heading back to the building , she watched for a few minutes to see if anyone would come out but no one did. The black dragoness was getting really tired of being here at the city of New York but she really didn't have a choice. Cynder had tried making friends but found it really hard to , no one really liked talking to a dragon. She was really taking a likeness to the man she heard was Johnson , but she didn't he think that he knew she was who or who she was.

Rubi ran down the stairs of a building, after just getting money for the job and fixing the "problem" When she came outside she noticed tow poeple fighting, knowing who they were from reading magazines. And seeing a dragon sitting their watching? 'Whatever' Rubi thought, as she chuged a bottle of whiskey and threw it up in the air, and shotting it. Rubi wanted to have some fun, so she joined the fight, well not joined as much as interfere. She walked up behind Sgt. Johnson and put one of her guns to his head and pointing hte other one at Alex Mercer. "Come on boys, why dont we just stop fighting and just go out for a drink?" Rubi said while not moving her guns. She then looked over at Cynder and actually recognized her. She gave a wink and moved her head to her direction, basicly saying, 'come on.'

Cynder looked at Rubi who was telling her to come on. Cynder stood up and walked over to Rubi , she never really cared for Rubi but boredom got the best of her and she soon walked over to her and looked at Johnson and the other man. "Hey Rubi."

"This is crazy even to my standards." Alex said as a dragon came down from the GENTEK building. First that acid had spit toward him, then a woman had snuck behind him and put a gun to his head, now this woman was pointing a gun to his head. He shifted his arms back to normal and looked at the woman. "Bullets can't kill me." He said grabbing the gun and pointing it upwards. "Who are you, and why are you helping GENTEK?" It was stated to everyone around him.

"Yeah, and i know who you are, i know bullets cant kill you, buy maybe a dragon named Cynder could?" Rubi lowered her guns. "And hey Cyn,. By the way Alex, I just get paid to fix peoples problems. Im a problem fixer, names Rubi, and the dragon is Cynder, and this military personal is a one of a kind Sgt. with a jackass, but kickass attitude." Rubi said as she put her guns away. "Now are we going to go have a drink, or just stand her and yell at each other." Rubi said as she walked towards a near by bar.

Alex stared at Rubi as she walked over to a nearby bar. Was she crazy? She knew who he was and she wanted to have a drink? He shook his head. "No time." He said turning his attention to the base. He concentrated on the storage of biomass he had and shoved both arms toward the base. A large blast of biomass suddenly shot out and blasyed into the base, practically destroying it completely. He turned and followed Rubi. "Now I have time."

Cloud flew out of a portal high above New York City and flew down towards a humongous skyscraper. He spotted a fire curling up into the sky on the other side of the town. "What's going on there?" He said to himself. Doing a mid-air flip Cloud steered himself over towards the smoking building but he lost control and plummeted down towards an abandoned building.
"Oh sh-" Cloud didn't even finish the sentence before he fell through the timber roof and landed with his back on the hard concrete floor. Dust spun and swirled around the old warehouse from the crater Cloud had created. "Uhhhhh." He moaned and sruggled to his feet. "That, hurt."
The good news was that he could see the devestated GENTEK building a couple blocks down and if he needed to, the buster sword also got transported with him.

Cynder looked towards the ruined military biulding and sighed , no more going there anymore. As Cynder looked at the building she caught sight of something that had created a crater , a man stood up from the crater and Cynder flew over and landed infront of him. "Are you okay?"

"New..a..York..Cii..ty?" Mario pronounced the strange word, tilting his head to the side, as he played with the fire on his hand. The flames just danced on his glove and a fireball even emerged as it scorched a wall.
The Plumber picked up his hammer, which looked like a steel cylinder attached to a 2x4 with a cartoonish look that was as tall as Mario's body himself, though if one got hit it wouldn't be a good hit. He stuffed the hammer into a pocket, looking as if it dissapeared into a pocket dimension, and approached the window outside.

All of a sudden, the building seemed to break apart, as something tore through it like butter. Debris from the ceiling fell and buried the Italian under mounts of concrete which the only thing that was in his hand was the red hat.
No...no!
An arm shot up from the debris, and out from the debris covered in dust, was a disgruntled Plumber clothed in a red jumpsuit and blue overalls, shook his body to rid of the dirt. He stood up from the rubble to look at the group of strange people. A man with a hoodie, a man who seemed to be wearing green skin, and a woman with ...guns?
How did he know that word?

The guard tower, the only building left standing in the block, suddenly flooded out with blackwatch soldiers. One row of soldiers aimed their rocket launchers at the trio while the other row aimed at Mario.
"That's his moustache and Alex Mercer. Don't let them escape." The Commander had said through his gas mask, voicing taking on an eerie voice, raising his hand as a signal that the team would fire.
Mario had already started running, dodging exploding rockets as they made holes in the ground, ducking down for the last rocket, turnng around and jumped from the ground, flipping backwards three times before going over a high wall into the street.

After running down the street he caught the sight of something, a dragon and another person. He skidded to a stop and looked at the crater, looking at the male with a bizarre haircut and the weird dragon.
"Helllo?" Mario said, his Italian accent thick and heavy in the air.

(Awesome! Cloud! Technically, Aqua and Zach met in the Kingdom Hearts game so I'm wondering if they would've remembered each other.)

Aqua saw heard a noise and then she said, "Ventus?"
Then she looked behind her and saw a yellow vehicle that she had never seen before.
She quickly jumped out of the way and thought of a building that was called, GENTEK.
Aqua ran towards the building, hoping that was the answer.

Cynder looked away from the man and at the other one who was coming towards them. "Hello , who are you?" Cynder asked as the Italian came closer to her and the other man.
