Childhood/Family Life:
Dahlia has always been a Daddy's girl. Her childhood was quite ironic actuallly. I mean most people would look at her family and see bohemian or slackers but they are far from it. Her dad, a big tattooed man, is actually the CEO of a forune five hundred company. Her mother, a slight woman, could strike fear into the strongest of men. And her brother with his child like face and mischivous smile. They always attracted attention. So Dahlia didn't really get a normal childhood.

They lived in a gated estate but that didn't stop people from trying to get to the bad boy of computor technology. I mean yeah her dad is known for violent outburst and yeah he had attacked a few reporters but he was a good man and an amazing father. And he loved his baby girl with all his heart. He would buy her everything she wanted and take her wherever she wanted to go. In her eyes he was her gentle giant. And that's all that mattered to her.

Dahlia didn't really need protection until middle school. Around that time there her dad released his new phone and it started flying off the shelves left and right. One day her nanny was running late to pick her up so Dahlia headed to the ice cream shop near the school. It didn't seem like a big deal at the time. But somebody tried to kidnap her. They failed because the nanny showed up but her dad was still rattled. So he hired security guards and more security guards and better security at the houses. He basically went overboard and became so paranoid. Finally when she got to ninth grade he sent her to Jefferson. She didn't want to go but she knew that her dad needed it more than she did.

High School Career:
Dahlia was always a social butterfly but ninth grade was kinda tough for her. She used to be low on the totem pole, I mean her dad was just a CEO. But as time when on she got more and more respect. She just wished her bother got more respect too. She has always been pretty popular but it wasn't until junior year that she was given the elite status of being an A Student.

Dahlia has always been sort of the center of attention. One of the reasons being, she was born from a mistress. She almost tore their family apart but somehow she brought them together. Because of this she became the sole focus in her fathers life. As you can imagine that had some positive and some negative effects.

Dahlia is vain and she is ok with that. She's not so vain that she is unlikable but she is conceited. She expects certain things because she's become used to certain things. Like, for example, if Dahlia wants a guy.. Dahlia gets the guy. The same rules apply for objects as well. Basically she's a vain spoiled rich kid. But she doesn't shove it in your face or make you feel inadequate. Rather she likes knowing that she's pretty because it makes her happy. Yes, that's superficial but that's who she is. If she doesn't feel pretty she doesn't feel happy. But she's not the typical rich girl. No Dahlia spends money partying in Ibiza, yachting with her supermodel friends, and the occasional bailing of friends out of Mexican jails (that's only happened twice) Dahlia true greatest and probably most damning bad trait is her recklessness.

Truth is her recklessness and bluntness go hand and hand. Dahlia believes that she can do whatever she wants because she's Dahlia. She doesn't truly believe in thinking ahead. She'd rather just run off on her next adventure feet first. She doesn't give anything and thought which is why she makes such impulsive decisions that often get her hurt, rather it mentally and physically. But in her eyes she feels like a trapped animal. She's trapped at Jefferson and she's trapped at home until she snaps. Usually it's only for a week or two but she'll disappear and your only clue into her life and where she is at during those times is usually through tabloids. But she always manages to slide through. Most people say it's because she's manipulative but truly she's not she's just got a dangerous amount of charisma.

Dahlia can charm the pants off anyone. Charisma and flirting come to Dahlia easily. She can charm pretty much anybody. Most people who don't like her have a love hate relationship with her. Meaning they can't tell if they love her of hate her. Because don't get me wrong with her blunt nature, vain habits, and spoiled tendencies, Dahlia can be quite the bitch but she'll be the most lovable bitch you'll ever meet.

Boys are also something Dahlia has always had a way with. Not to say she's a slut. I mean she's no virgin but she isn't sleeping around. In fact she hates girls that do because she feels like it gives a false perception that all girls who flirt are hooking up with any guy. Which she doesn't not do. She flits openly but she's super selective about who gets her heart. Part of her feels like she isn't capable of love I mean she was born from lust after all. Though she often plays that off by amplifying her natural sexy aura.

Harrison Merez
"The Gentle Giant", as he is affectionately called by his family. Harrison spoils his daughter grandly but is also often paranoid of her safety. He is excessively protective of Dahlia and often uses his wealth and power to manipulate her into a sense of freedom, though she is never truly free. Harris is the CEO of a Fortune 500 electronics company, though you may never see him in a suit. If you meet him he really just seems like a normal person. He loves his family but does not hide his lenience towards his daughter. He is much more strict with Haven.

Mother:
Kristina Merez
Kristina only stands at 5'2 but her demeanor makes her seem like a giant. Kristina runs the Merez household. Though she does have her own organic spa company she never puts her family on hold for her business. Kristina is knows for making even the largest of men cringe. She has a sort of power to her that makes you respect her. Dahlia and Kristina often butt heads, probably because they are both stubborn and confident, but at the end of the day Kristina admires her daughters will power.

Brother:
Haven Merez
Haven is the opposite of Dahlia. While dahlia is rambunctious and outgoing, Haven is calm and laid back. Haven used to go to school with Dahlia because there parents wanted him to be with her so she wouldn't be alone but he graduated last year. Haven and Dahlia get along well. Dahlia is very protective of Haven. She believes he's too trusting and that makes her nervous but Haven is always there to ease her fears.
