When your father is the president of the United States, you kinda become a big thing. And well, Westley's life was turned upside down when he turned thirteen and the entire world knew who he was. It was strange, at first, and an adjustment. One second, his father was a senator and Westley was at a prestigious private school in California. Next second later, they were moving to Washington, D.C. People were watching everything he did, girls were suddenly calling him, and so yes, he got a big head. Adding to that was the absence of a younger sibling and well, you get a spoiled child. But the one thing that irked him was the expectations his father had for him; get these grades, attend these parties and functions, dress this way, and get these girls, which led to his relationship and subsequent friendship with F-ranked yet critically acclaimed actress, Sophia De Luca. Their relationship ended after a few weeks, but they were inseparable afterwards. He dated off and on afterwards, but when an incident that occurred once shook their entire family, Westley was transferred to school with Sophia. No one has spoken of it since.

Let's see, Westley was actually surprised that he was put in the A rank. It wasn't like he did anything spectacular. Well, he swam, so there was that. But that was all there was for him. He generally tries to be nice to everyone and can be seen talking to any one individual at school. But he has his set group of friends - real friends - and some of them aren't on the A rank. And sure, some of his A-listers like to be jerks about it, but if they've got nothing nice to say, then nothing they have to say is important to Westley.

You see, entering into this brand new lifestyle was an adjustment but it was one that his mother oversaw and conditioned him for. A gentleman on his best days, Westley tends to move about the world with a sense of lithe grace and humility. He has yet to let the power granted to him go over his head nor has the fame made him in any way big-headed. He can almost appear unaffected by this new way of life. Typically someone who just goes with the flow of things and does it all with an easy smile, Westley can be downright charming and easy to talk to, always willing to put himself on the line for those that he cares about. For him, being popular and all that jazz is cool; having people like you is so much better. And he works to be a likeable person, honestly, even when people seem to think that he's just as cocky and self-absorbed as the rest of the A-listers. In fact, he's sort of a dork and genuinely is still trying to figure out why he's the most popular guy at school. He quotes superheroes and calls himself "Star Lord," people. And yet there are a good few people who want to be his friend.
But it's not all perfect. There are remnants of his father in him. A competitive athlete, Westley is not an individual to mess with when he's angry. You see, he does not have a short fuse. In fact, you can even say that he is a very patient guy. But then again, that patience only goes so far, especially when it has something to do with someone he cares for. Suddenly, after messing with those people, you see a much more darker and violent person - someone who has been brutally hurt mentally and physically and who will be on survival mode if you push too hard. It's a horrible temper; it got so bad that he ended up shattering one guy's nose. And Westley can be slick about his rage too. With eyes that has most females and teachers swooning and an unassuming smile that he picked up from his Dad, he can seem extremely harmless. But give him someone that is trying for his title as the best swimmer in the class and suddenly, he's ready to take you down and he doesn't even have to cheat to do it. That's how much Westley pushes himself when he's passionate about something. And sure, he might get a little possessive and a tad bit selfish over some things; he's an only child, give him a break. But all he has to do is smile and be sweet little Westley, and suddenly you forgot the devil you saw on his shoulder.
