Elencia (Grandia)

Elencia is the large piece of land on which the majority of the people in the world live. The great Tolerain Sea separates Old Elencia and New Elencia, though the two sub-continents are joined at the hips by the nigh impassable (at least by land) Grand Sky mountain range. Parm is the largest city in Old Elencia and serves as the gateway of trade and commerce at the shores of the Tolerain Sea. New Parm, "Old" Parm's polar opposite, lies on the sunny and beautiful shores of New Elencia. The city is a popular tourist attraction and home of the famous Adventurer's Guild, the society that nearly all adventurers in the world aspire to join. Many smaller towns and cities dot the landscapes of both Old and New Elencia, along with countless forests, winding rivers, majestic mountains, and ancient ruins.

At the far easternmost tip of the known world is the vast and dangerous Misty Forest, and at its end stands the End of the World, a towering structure built with ancient technology that no one has known to have ever crossed and returned to tell the tale. The End of the World stretches across the entire known continent of Elencia, reaching even to the very bottom of the vast Elencian Ocean where the land ends.
