To: Joel
I only have enough $ for 2 tickets...
She stuffed her phone back in her pocket, then went to see her dad. She had to complain. It was eating her up. She found her dad at his desk. "Hey dad. Can we talk before class starts."
He looked up. "Sure sweetie."
"Well," She took a seat in the front desk. "Joel and me were supposed to go to the movies tonight. He wants to invite a girl that has a crush on him. I don't really want her to come because it's my alone time with him, and I hate seeing girls all over him. I don't know what to do. I told him I only had money for 2 tickets."
"Honey, I think you should tell him how you feel. You have had a crush on him for a long time. Don't you think he deserves the truth, since he's such a good friend?"
"I guess so, but what if he turns me down, or it wrecks our friendship? I'm scared." Then the bell rang. "Better get to class. See you 3rd period." She grabbed her stuff and headed to her first block, English with Whimee.

She walked to the end of the hallway and noticed the room, there she saw Chloe sitting in a chair. Zoey hated being late but she had no choice so she slowly entered the room, "Sorry I'm late... I'm new..." She said shyly. She was walking to the back of the room when her name was called out. She turned slightly to see the teachers face. "Twins huh?.... Well I want everyone to move their desks to the sides of the room so we can play a game! After you move the desks make your chairs into a circle!" Mrs.Whitmee said. Zoey put her school bag down and started to move a desk like the others. A girl with glasses looked over at her and whispered, "Mrs.Whitmee is like that... She's the drama teacher... She's pretty much the best teacher ever." Zoey smiled as they looked at Mrs.Whitmee who was standing in the middle of our circle.

Drake's algebra teacher the previous year had pushed him into taking calc (even though he hadn't taken pre-calc), and Drake wasn't very happy about it. He didn't want to be a math whiz. He would much rather stay the football star. And he was sure he'd be the dumbest kid in class. I mean, any calculus class must be chocked-full of nerds, right? Would he know anybody in class? He had all his high school math credits. Why did his teachers want more from him?
"Is anyone else taking Calc?" He asked the girls walking to english with him as the bell rang, "Somebody better be, or I'll be stuck with a bunch of math nerds and no one to talk to!"
She furrowed her brows, that would suck. She was a popular and didn't know how not to be. She was popular since elementary school and was inlove with drake since middle school. What the hell was she gonna do in college? Thinking about that she frowned. She always planned to get married. But she couldn't picture herself without Chloe and angel.
She waved as she walked off down the hall, her bag hanging from its place on her shoulder as she strode down the hall and turned into a classroom. The blonde made her way into the room with a nod at the teacher and found a seat for herself, dropping her bag to the floor by her feet.
" Hey Mrs. Whitmee," Chloe said cheerfully when her name was called, eyeing the excitable teacher with interest as she waited for her sister to appear. She was not disappointed as the teacher made a small comment on the pair being twins before moving on to ask the students to move their desks and make a circle with their chairs. The younger twin heaved a quiet sigh, already hating the class and dreading drama later that day. Games weren't her style but, of course, she'd go along with the idiocy. It could mean her grade, after all.
She picked up a desk and pushed it against the wall before moving her chair to join the slowly forming circle in the center of the room, sitting in her chair and pulling her cellphone out of her pocket to rest in her hand that was on her lap. Chloe turned to look at Drake and Angelica, two of many people she knew that happened to be in the same class. " Is she for real?" Chloe asked under her breath, rolling her eyes toward the teacher who was talking animatedly with her own twin.
" Hi. I'm Chloe, my favourite food is actually a desert; mint chocolate chip ice cream, and I am working toward becoming an Anesthesiologist." She answered easily, shrugging as though it was no big deal, before she turned her head to look to the person beside her. Chloe was bored of this already but she'd wait it out until she could actually do homework. She always did this. Talked in class and aced her assignments, in class and homework.
She always got impressive grades which would help her achieve her goal.. Which her mother wanted more than herself, not that anyone actually knew the difference. To anyone else an anesthesiologist was her dream job.
"Hey everybody!" She said, eager to get it over. "I'm Anne. I love pizza and I want to go into medical forensics. You know, like the girl from Bones." She tried to sound peppy and excited. The teacher smiled at her, aproving of her job choice, then pointed to the next kid. Anne dazed out, thinking of what to tell Joel. She didn't want to mess it all up.
((sorry its so short))
When it was her turn Whitney smiled brightly. "My names Whitney," she paused to think, "My favorite food is... pretty much all seafood. And my dream job would have to be either a Psychiatrist or a Pediatrician." She knew that was a occupation her father would approve since he was a neurosurgeon. She flipped her hair in irritation, just at the thought of him. But smiled politely at her teacher , who gave her a knowing nod. She always encouraged to consider Broadway or a dance production but Whitney knew her father wouldn't allow that.
"Um, I'm Drake," he muttered, "My favorite food is probably sushi and . . . well . . . I guess I'd like to play for the NFL or the NBA, or be a sports therapist or something."
He had lied. He really had no idea what he wanted to do when he grew up-- he just said something that would live up to his reputation. Sports were great, but was he really good enough to play professional basketball or football? He needed to seriously start thinking about what he would do after high school.
Tiana cursed quietly to herself as she checked her watch for the several dozenth time, then craned her neck to look down the street. Her bus had been fifteen minutes late now, and still no sign of it yet. She chewed her lip anxiously as she took out her phone, wondering if either of her friends had texted her to ask where she was. She saw she had gotten one message:
From: Joeellll(:
T, Lemme know when you get here. We have to compare schedules.
Even amidst all her stress, she couldn't help but smile at knowing that Joel had some concern about what classes she had. She could only hope they'd get the same ones, after all, she had only had a crush on him from the day they met a few years ago, and she loved spending time with him, which included all of the great conversations and inside jokes they had. She hit reply and typed in a quick message.

Sorry, I've been stuck at the bus stop for a really long time, and at this rate I'll probably be late... but maybe I'll catch you during break? Or maybe we'll have the same class, I hope!!
As she hit send, she looked down the road for her bus, and saw it slowly making it's way towards the stop. She eagerly bounced up and down on her toes as she put her phone away and went fishing through her bag for her wallet. She opened it up quickly as she stepped onto the bus. She produced her bus pass and let the driver see it before going to take a seat near the back. The ride went by quicker than expected and she had arrived at school before she knew it. Standing up from her seat and smoothing down her outfit she saw that according to her watch, she still had five minutes to spare before class. She ran the short distance from the bus stop to the school building as fast as she could and after bursting through the front doors, headed straight for her locker. There was next to nobody remaining in the halls and she saw Joel wasn't at his locker, he had probably gotten to class already. She shoved her bag inside and then stopped to take out her schedule, figuring she didn't have a lot of time to meet up with Joel, so she might as well take a quick look for herself then make a mad dash to class. She saw her first class was English with Mrs. Whitmee, so she grabbed her English books and made her way over there as fast as she could. As she did, she wrote a quick text to Joel hoping they could arrange to meet later.

Sorry that things didn't work out this morning, maybe we can connect during break? That is, unless you have Whitmee for English first block. That's where I'm headed right now! See you there maybe?
As she hit send, she just hoped he had remembered to set his phone to silent.
She got to the classroom with only seconds to spare, and right away noticed how all the chairs were set up in a circle. She looked around to see if she could find Joel, but it didn't seem like he was. She did see her... Sort of friend, Anne sitting among everyone, but the spots on either side of her were taken so she had to sit with some people who she didn't really know. The teacher explained some 'get to know your classmates' game, which Tiana thought sounded extremely dumb, but it was at least a bit more interesting than boring old class. Tiana half listened until it came to her turn, she was one of the last.
"I'm Tiana, I like ..." she had to think pretty hard about her answer, even though it was such a simple question, "I like French fries the most, I guess... and when I grow up I think it'd be cool to be a pilot." she said it rather quiet, not loud enough for even half the class to hear, but thankfully the teacher didn't call her out for it.
