Cameron has always been a kind person while growing up. She cared for everyone even if they treated her wrong, which is something she is trying to change about herself because of how often she gets used. Cameron has always acted more like a guy and always seemed to be a bit jealous of her brother's gender. This has caused minor problems between them but it was never something that couldn't be fixed.
Because she didn't feel comfortable in her own skin, Cameron began to stop having so much confidence in herself. Her self esteem began to falter and she began to seclude herself from love interests or anyone who found her attractive. Things only got worse for her as she got older. Cameron found that cutting herself gave her some sense of control over her life. It made her feel good. She keeps this hidden from her little family.
She does have a bad temper when provoked. So don't fall for the good caring side of her. When angered she is like a completely different person. At times she can even get violent and black out, not be able to remember anything about the fight when it ends. This has always been a dangerous part of her so she tries her best not to.
Cameron grew up living a very complicated kind of life. She has never felt comfortable in her own skin and eventually found that she was craving to be like her brother, to be a man. She has kept this to herself for quite some time and is thinking about coming out and telling her brother. Cameron has been wanting to tell him for quite some time now but she has no idea how. The main thing she is worried about is how he would look at her after breaking this news.
Cameron is just as terrified of telling the others but it has no measure to compare to the possibility of judgement from her brother. She may hate to admit this but she looks up to him. Cameron feels more like herself when she is alone with her brother and hopes that changing her gender will help more with the matter. One problem is that she has nowhere near enough money to do the change.
As for her life at home it was never as good as it should have been. Her mother would constantly nag at her for dressing like a guy, said that she should dress more lady like. This never seemed to sit well with Cameron. All she wanted to do was be herself and her mother never seemed to allow that.
When her parents talked to her and her brother, wanting them to take over their family business the two of them passed that offer down. In turn their parents began abusing them because they weren't following down the paths they wanted for them. They pretty much disowned the siblings because of this, causing Cameron to begin becoming closer to her brother because he's all she ended up having in the end. At least until they met their new friends.
When she ran away from home and started traveling with the band she no longer contacted her parents and never plans on doing so ever again. If they aren't happy with them pursuing their own lives then there is no point. Every time they speak and argument starts and ends in violence.
Character Relations
All of Cameron's life she has always looked up to Killian. Though as much as she would like to keep it a secret from her brother, in the end it just becomes obvious for him to see. She just hopes that there will never come a time where she knows for sure that he knows. The reason she looks up to him so much is because he has what she wants. Cameron wants to be a male. Since Killian is a male she has also felt a little envious over him. With this she tries her best to hide but at times she just doesn't have the time to hide her jealousy when it happens.
