Nezuko is really active and social. However, he prefers to keep a calm, calculating, and sarcastic exterior up around any but his closest friends or Clansmen. However, he can't always keep that act up and has gotten a bit of a name as an eccentric king. He often recites portions of plays and poems as a way to pass the time, or just to show off. On occasion there are people who mistake his quotations for tidbits of advice, although they are often not. Nezuko always seems to be changing his opinions of people. One day he might decide he wants to become someone's ally and the next he'll want nothing to do with them. Being one of the new kings, he still isn't familiar with the role and abilities and often embarrasses himself, though making him blush is no huge feat to begin with.

Nezuko Sejirou, often called Nezu or Nezumi, was adopted by Amy and Kise Sejirou at the age of eight. He vaguely remembers his biological parents, but most of his memories of them are suppressed to his subconscious. The story goes that when he was seven, there was a terrible fire at his home and by the time the fire department got there, Nezuko was the only person left to save from the smoke and flames. He was adopted a year later by the loving couple and raised learning to speak English and Japanese as well as being instructed in how to play various instruments and dance. His life was quite unexciting until he became a King. All through high school he was quite a flirt, and he has continued to be even now. As soon as he turned 18, he moved out of his adoptive parent's house and they promptly moved away to America to retire. After that, he worked his hardest to be a good King, since he didn't have to work due to his inheritance from his biological parents as well as the money his adoptive ones had left him.
