♣Oddities:
Being carefree, Yamada can seem disconnected even in the most terrible of situations; it's just how he deals with things. He smiles a lot though, despite this. Again, while seeming disconnected he is actually quite the thinker; plagued by countless scenarios planned out by his own ideols and predictions. His expressions are usually relevant to what he is thinking, as his thoughts can make him undeniabally happy, or terribly depressed. He is not bi-polar though.

♣Personality: Carefree, he isn't clueless or unaware of things going around him, but he just doesn't seem to give two shits. Something comes up, and he'll begrudgingly comply. In this sense he can seem unloving, and a hard person to get along with; in truth he is quite a social butterfly. He doesn't flutter around many, but those he does can most certainly come to respect his nonchalant quick wit, and humorous attitude in the face of danger.
♣ History: Without getting the thick of it, almost all of his classmates know he isn't native to Namimori; instead he was born in Okinawa, to an American Soldier overseas stationed at a local Navy Base, and a quiet store owner and clerk of a business not too far from the Base. His father was a grunt, but held a Sergeant's rank; his mother made some money from her shop as well. Overall he was just a normal army brat, but out of respect for Japanese culture his father took on his wife's last name, and vice versa. This made it clear, the boy's name was to be Yamada Jackson-Momiji. Both parents loved him, and while his father could not spare much attention to him; when he did it was at the upmost of such. His mother quickly took to making sure his dominant language was Japanese, but he was also taught English before he entered preschool. He was a quick study, if you ever had to study in preschool. Yamada is smart as they come, and naturally talented when it comes to such things as academics.
His carefree nature didn't arise until he was six, when he showed a certain drifter-like quality. He wasn't loud, and he didn't speak that much to begin with; Yamada didn't approve of conflict, but persuaded his parents to allow him to learn basic Karate from a local Sensei. This nature proved to propel him further than most children his age. He can focus on things without being hindered by pressure, making him an avid test taker. He can face things with little to no fear bestilled within him. His parents not only coped with this Yamada, but he loved how fearless he was despite how much he scared them when he wouldn't run away from a bad encounter.
At ten his father was given an honorary, and medical discharge for losing feeling in his legs due to a miscaluclated shift in gun batteries. While the entire event was hidden from Yamada, he understood the severity of it. Luckily his father didn't turn into a drunk, in fact he seemed more than pleased to spend time with his family, even if it costed him his mobility. As Yamada gets his own abilities from his father, it was no surprise that the parent adapted quickly to life in a wheelchair. He even made fun out of it, racing Yamada to school everyday (and winning). Life was easy, Yamada went through unnoticed in Namimori Middle. He didn't bother with the disciplanary committee, and unlike his earlier years he didn't get into many fights. He still practiced Karate in his off time, but didn't have enough to seek out a new Sensei.
Turning seventeen just a few months ago made him realize that he was bored being couped up in Japan, not that he didn't like it; in fact he loved Japan, especially Namimori and all the memories however dim and boring they were. His passion, shrouded by his carelessness, and his tendency to disconnect himself from his surroundings; no matter what anyone thinks: is to get out and experience adventure to the fullest. He understood that it wouldn't be like in the Medieval times, with Knights, and Samurai. Nonetheless, his dreams were solid, and will never be shrouded.
