Nina has a very upbeat, yet laid back personality. She is a consummate party girl, meaning she loves to drink, dance, and, well, consummate. Some accuse her as being irresponsible and lazy due to her pursuit of leisure activities, but the fact of the matter is she pursues them with such dedication that this assessment of her personality has lost a lot of power, not to mention the fact that lately especially she has gotten heavily involved with philanthropy, especially in her support of human rights, civil equality, and above all stressing the important of creativity and freedom of expression.

Nina is something of a superstar on her home planet. Despite her reputation of a shiftless party girl, she has worked hard at her life in ways that would make Batman feel inadequate. (Granted, most of those were spent on developing "party skills" instead of science or detective skills, but she is a super multi-sport athlete, including martial arts). She is one of the leading pop stars in the world having broken into nearly every form of media, from music to movies (and especially a certain, uh, genre of movie), causing a great deal of controversy. It is highly suspected that her inclusion in this contest was to take advantage of her "star power" and get more people watching. Merchandizing deals are in the works.
