"Ciao bella!" Harlow replied to Rhyan's greeting as chipper as ever. She wrapped her free arm around her friend's shoulder in a quick hug before walking into the house. Upon crossing the threshold she slipped off her shoes and inhaled deeply, enjoying the delectable aroma of a freshly made breakfast wafting across her senses. "Ah, I smell pancakes." She wasn't much of a cook herself, so breakfast always consisted of fruit and cereal. On days when she was feeling a little daring she might even add some chocolate chip waffles to the mix—the frozen kind of course—she wouldn't dare attempt to make them herself. Needless to say, her stomach started to growl as soon as the scent of a real breakfast crossed her nose. "How are you?" She asked casually, not expecting too much of a detailed reply considering Samantha was home. Once she could get Rhyan alone for a moment she'd press for more of an answer concerning last night's target. In the meantime, she'd settle for a simple reply.
Harlow made sure to give some attention to Sheila and Sarge; she loved dogs and animals in general but she didn't have any pets because she wouldn't always be able to take care of them. She sometimes treated the two dogs like they were her own children and often bought treats for them. "Sorry sweethearts, I can't share this with you guys today." She cooed at them then turned to Rhyan to hold up the pink box that'd been occupying her left hand. "It's never too early for something sweet. I bought some tiramisu from this cute little bakery, I bet it will taste heavenly." As much as she wanted to eat it now, she went into the kitchen and sat in on the counter. Her attention was captivated by the breakfast spread that was greeting her. "I'm jealous, how do you manage to cook so much?" Harlow was about to make a plate for herself when saw Sam make her appearance. "'Morning, does my beautiful niece have a boyfriend yet?" She walked around the table to wrap the girl up in a quick hug, a mischievous smile playing on her lips. She always told Sam whenever she got a boyfriend, if he did anything wrong, she'd tie him up in front of a moving train. In actuality, Harlow wasn't that opposed to the wicked idea. That's how protective she was of her.
"I was thinking maybe we could do some shopping today. The weather is way too nice to stay inside." Harlow suggested while sitting down with a plate full of food. You'd never guess it, with her slim figure and all, but she could eat a lot at one time. Thanks to her fast metabolism and active lifestyle she could get away with eating the way she did without worrying much about gaining weight.
