Bio:
Daniel lived a relatively happy life in West Virginia until the age of six, when his family (compromised of his at the time one year old sister and parents) decided to move to Las Vegas after Daniel's father got a job opportunity there. Daniel quickly became one of the most popular and beloved kids of his grade, and was even the first kid to get a "girlfriend" at the age of eleven. Daniel was often the life of the party, and most people liked him despite the fact that he could sometimes unintentionally be rude.
During the summer between eight and ninth grade , Daniel received the worst news of his life: his parents and nine year old sister had been killed in a car crash. Daniel became socially isolated and depressed, keeping most things to himself. He was put in a foster care program, where he stayed for nearly the whole summer and went through constant therapy. Once he was deemed acceptable to leave (however put under depression medication), he was put under the care of his aunt and uncle who lived in California who were extremely strict and demanding people and whom he had only met once before.
While Daniel's aunt and uncle acted kind and accepting at first, within to the two weeks of him being there they turned extremely strict. They warned him that once the school year started, he better have good grades or some privileges would be taken away from him. He had never dealt with such strict rules before, and he is unsure if he will be able to manage. Daniel hopes he will be able to make new friends at King Middle School and prays that he will be able to put on a realistic yet fake smile around them so they will not learn of his two secrets.
