Description
Jordan, a 14 year old girl, is a ninth grader and is new to King Middle School. She's not the social type, but she can be when you get to know her. She gets depressed, because her parents argue all the time at home and her dad would get drunk and abuse her. She tries to hide her bruises. Jordan's nice, but can also be edgy when you make her. She doesn't like to hang out with snobby people. She's rich herself, but doesn't go around bragging about it though. Jordan usually walks to and from school. She's also very educated.
So begins...
Jordan Holmes's Story

Jordan walks up to the school doors with her dark red backpack over her left shoulder. She opens the door and looks at the crowd of people all over the place. There are girls in corners texting and gossiping away and boys in groups laughing their heads off at something probably stupid. Jordan rubs her arm and hits a bruise. "Ow" she moans.
Jordan's dad was drunk last night again and hit her. Her eyesight becomes blurry, ready for the tears to come down her cheek, but wipes them in a quick motion so no one notices. She tugs on her sleeve so that her new bruise is completely covered.
Jordan finds a less crowded table where a cute boy is standing and walks over to the table. "Hey, can I sit here...?" Jordan asks smiling shyly at the people who are already sitting at the table.
Jordan's dad was drunk last night again and hit her. Her eyesight becomes blurry, ready for the tears to come down her cheek, but wipes them in a quick motion so no one notices. She tugs on her sleeve so that her new bruise is completely covered.
Jordan finds a less crowded table where a cute boy is standing and walks over to the table. "Hey, can I sit here...?" Jordan asks smiling shyly at the people who are already sitting at the table.
"My name's Jordan Holmes" Jordan says. "I'm new also, but I've been living in California for my whole life. I just moved into the area." Jordan sets her backpack on the floor and looks back up at Daniel. "Do you feel...scared coming to a new school and having to make new friends?" she asks slightly smiling at him.
Franc looked a bit confused but she decided to sit down. She looked down at her lap in a shy way.
''My name is Franc. Don't ever call me Franceska or I'll tear your eyes out.'' she said.
''Oh fuck, that sounded harsh. Like I was some kind of psycho. In a way I am one, but nobody should know. They are gonna call me a freak again if they find out. Just like at my old school.'' she thought hoping nobody would've noticed she said that she was going to rip their eyeballs out.
''My name is Franc. Don't ever call me Franceska or I'll tear your eyes out.'' she said.
''Oh fuck, that sounded harsh. Like I was some kind of psycho. In a way I am one, but nobody should know. They are gonna call me a freak again if they find out. Just like at my old school.'' she thought hoping nobody would've noticed she said that she was going to rip their eyeballs out.
''I'm named after my grandma. She was a terrible person. I don't like to think about that woman every time somebody says my name.'' Franc said without emotion as she looked Derek straight in the eye. Her eyes betrayed her tone, they showed a bit of anger.
Quickly she looked at her lap again. ''Damn, why are you such a creep? I have probably freaked them out. I don't wanna be this weird. You are hated. They hate you. You're fucked. You'll be lonely. Just like on the other school. I hate myself.'' her thoughts conversated in her head in a crazy way. But on the outside it was not visible at all. She looked perfectly calm and reached for her bag and got a package of cigarettes out.
''Anyone fancy a cigarette?'' she said in a totally different, much friendlier way.

Daniel laughed at Franc's comment, because while it might of seem harsh he assumed the "tear you apart" part was a joke. Then, Daniel faced Jordan to answer her question. "Well, of course I'm scared. For many reasons... but I can't tell her that, can I?" Daniel then realized that Jordan was also new to the school, as she said she came from a different area. He decided to go ahead and tell the truth and said, "Yeah... I guess. I hope I'll be able to make new friends. California is quite different from Las Vegas, and I am afraid that maybe my "culture" will be too different for people that have always lived here. On top of that I've..." He took a breath, realizing that he was just about to say he lost his family, and instead continued with a joke,"I mean, Las Vegas is the place of gamblers and California is the place of celebrities and drug addicts." Then, Daniel said, "How 'bout you Jordan?" He scooted down the table as he asked her the question, so to give her a space to sit.
Franc suddenly got out a packet of cigarettes and said, "Anyone fancy a cigarette?" Daniel was a little shocked at her comment. While the cigarette looked alluring, he knew that because of his depression he could easily get addicted so Daniel replied, "No thanks."

"Yeah, I guess... Las Vegas and California both have that wild partying aspect," Danny replied to Alex with a smirk while waiting for Jordan to respond. "You skate?" Daniel asked Alex. Danny tried skate a while ago, but settled on biking.
"Yeah, it's pretty scary" Jordan says to Daniel. "I hate having to make new friends and all that. I'm not really the social type."

Derek stood up when he heard the * Thud * "Well then that's not good" He said walking over Stepping on the cigarette and lifting her back up onto her chair and her head on the Table she became perfectly balanced and Just looked like she was sleeping. Derek returned to his seat without a word until he sat down. "Well what does everyone think we should do with her?.... Nurses office? Leave her? Stay by her side? Lets go with a group vote shall we? " Derek said with his eyes closed again like nothing Happened.
Jordan hears a thud and looks over the table. She finds Franc on the floor passed out. Derek puts her head on the table and made her look as if she was sleeping and not passed out. "Well what does everyone think we should do with her?.... Nurses office? Leave her? Stay by her side? Lets go with a group vote shall we?" he says closing his eyes.
"I think we should bring her to the nurse's office" Jordan says furrowing her eyebrows at Derek.

Jordan smiles at Daniel and starts to help him with Franc. Soon Alex comes. “Need help?” he asks.
"Yes please. Thanks" Jordan says giving Alex a smile. "Wait where is the nurse's office?"

Daniel was shocked at the suggestion. On the first day of school, wouldn't it be weird to skip class? On top of that, if his aunt and uncle ever figured out he would be grounded for life, or worse. Daniel looked at Jordan to see what she would say, as he decided he would stick with her. After all, she was now his friend, or at least he hoped so.
Daniel looked cautiously at the ground, and then into Jordan's sparkling eyes before turning to Alex. "Me too, I guess. It's not like we'd do anything on the first day of school anyways. Maybe we could come back later and get a late note just so they wouldn't send a D.P.U., because if my aunt and unc- erm... my parents figured out that I skipped school I would be in a crap load of trouble." Daniel then followed Alex out, walking next to Jordan. "So, your parents are strict on class and grade stuff also?" Daniel asked Jordan.
Daniel was not comforted by Alex, but he just nodded at him. Then, going back to Jordan, he wondering what she was going to say. "Yeah, my aunt and...." Danny cursed himself for screwing up again, and continued, "parents are strict on that stuff. What do you like to do? Both of you?"
Jordan winces as Alex touches her shoulder and backs away. "It's nothing, Alex" she says quietly.
"I like to take walks and hang out with my very small amount of friends. I am a very boring human being" Jordan says turning back to Daniel to answer his question and change the subject.

"Yeah, I'm not much of an exercise person unlike you," Danny said to Alex. Then he turned to Jordan and said, "That doesn't sound boring to me." He then whispered to her in a way that Alex definitely couldn't hear, "Don't worry about Alex, I can't believe he would do that to you. I don't think he was trying to be mean or anything though." Jordan then walked into the house and held the door open for Jordan like a gentleman, and thanked Alex for inviting them over.
"I'll go next." Danny said. "Truth, to change it up a little. Including, I don't wanna get in a dare I might chicken out in." He smirked.
Danny turned to the right side of the house where the fence was as tears started returning to his eyes for a few seconds in order to hide them, when he noticed that girl from earlier who passed out. "What was her name..." Danny thought, before remembering it was Francs. Daniel waved her over, and noticed she had a cigarette. "Hey look guys, thats the girl who passed out earlier. Guess she decided to skip school also. I wonder how she is feeling."
Franc climbed over the fence. ''Hey guys, so.. what are you doing?'' she said hoping they wouldn't think she was a crazy stalker or something.
