Dual Blade
Aralorn was raised by her uncle after her parents died, at thirteen she found out she was a shape shifter at which time her uncle disowned her claiming he'd not be associated with a filthy unnatural thing. Cast out she wandered through many towns and cities earning small change and slowly gaining enough that she traveled to Sianim and paid her way through their mercenary training courses. They have the highest reputation for the best spies and killers. It was nearly fives years later Aralorn was sent on a mission under the order of Rin the Spymaster, a classified mission that if she failed would have no ties to Sianim or it's Spymaster. Under the ruse and disguise of her shape shifting abilities Aralorn staged her capture by the Archmage's guards and taken to his home in The Outreach it bordered the Sea of Despair. Brought before the Archmage Aralorn was titled slave and served him, for months she slowly gained his trust, but each day she found she was losing herself. Fear gripped her and soon she'd discovered that the Ae'Magi had his entire home filled with spells. The overwhelming sense of magic in the air could choke you if you weren't careful and Aralorn soon learned that his spells were slowly working on her, everyday she found herself nearly giving in to his soft caress, his words held a deeper allure and his features even began to grow on her. Knowing if she didn't get out soon she'd lose all sense of herself and reveal everything right down to her favorite childhood toy Aralorn fled. She waited until the Archmage was asleep to escape. She used her shape shifting abilities to her advantage and after passing the mote she found Sheen her father's dear horse and fled back to Sianim where she recounted her story to Ren the Spymaster who agreed to let her rest for a few days. Finding no true information on the assassination of the Prince of Ren Aralorn was once more given the mission of finding him. While she'd been locked away in a cage deep in the Archmage's castle the Prince of Ren had vanished, it was now her job to find him and return him to Ren before his coronation where he'd ascend the throne. Time is short and word has gone out the Archmage's assassins the Uriah have been also sent to find him and kill him.
