The bird's chirping could be heard through the windows of the Ch'en Household as the young Majesty was still sleeping in his chambers, yet to be awaken by his godly butler. Wūyā twisted around in his bed, twisting the covers and shifting the pillows as the sunlight seeped though his window and onto his face. Though, the sun still did not wake him. He was deep in a frightful nightmare, the nightmare that always and will haunt him until he dies. He was dreaming of the night of his parents murder, how he came down the stairs with his teddy bear and saw the intruders went after him. His parents ran and blocked the shot that they fired, sacrificing themselves for their sons life.

He started to groan outside the nightmare, clutching the bed's blankets roughly almost ripping holes into them. The nightmare continued on with the intruders running away before the police could catch them. The police had found him above his parent's bodies and his body covered in their blood. They had taken him away, far away to a mental institution where he would recover from the incident. They should of known he would never recover. His health got worse as he kept living, the nightmares never leaving him. Though, that one special day where he got to have a roommate.

That roommate told him different stories. Stories about myths, legends, and fairytales, but there was one story that perked his mind. The one about a lone unicorn who forever roams in the black forest and when you say it's name three times, it will grant you a wish. Wūyā took that chance when the night rises. He called that name that the roommate said. The name of the unicorn that could grant a wish. Oh, his only wish was to find the killers and tear them to shreds, asking them look what they had done to him.

The nightmare had slowing transformed into a somewhat pleasant dream once the grand picture of a unicorn came in. He smiled in his sleep and loosened his hold on the covers. The demon, no matter it be a dream or thoughts, always found a way to relax him. He dreamed that night where the unicorn asked for what his wish was. He told him immediately, wanting nothing more or less. That's when he saw the demon true form.

"Mmm...Kage..."

His small room is incredibly dark, he insisted to have a room without windows. A better means of sleep and of hiding his true form from anyone intruding upon him. Kage's wing stretches out and scraped against the wall across from his bed. His yawn made his fangs stick out as well as his forked tongue. All of this will fade away once he reverts to his lesser form, that of a human. Body rippling during his stretch he forces himself to take a mortal guise. The demon will always prefer his other two forms compared to his human form. It simply...bothers him, to be seen as human. Not that is bothers him to be among humans at all. Especially not his young master.

Oddly he enjoys many humans; his master, the twins, the chef and the gardener. They are all somehow important, vital to the enigmatic immortal. Nearly everyone in this mansion is. Nearly. Save for the damned maid. If only she could've wound up in a brothel instead of besmirching the fine carpet of the Ch'en mansion. Glancing into the small mirror on his wall he flares his nostrils, bright steam filtering out. "...Kage..."

The demon perks up at this, ears quirking. With a toothy grin Kage pulls on fresh clothing, fine trousers and a buttoned tunic with ruffled ends on the sleeves. He exits his room to make his way to his master's chambers, ignoring all else along the way for now. His only concern is to be there once the young mortal awakens. Kage nudges the door open and peers in before entering. As of late he's felt...unrest within the household. They have a rival family and they have threatened Wuya. A frown flickers, turning into a scowl as he ponders upon this before shaking his head lightly, thick hair dancing with the motion. Focus.

Kage had shut the door behind him before crawling onto Wuya's bed. He cozies up behind the boy and snuggles him, enjoying the warmth and emitting a purr. "It is time to wake up, Master Wuya. You must start your day fresh." his deep Russian blood is obvious in his voice and in his purr. He enjoys being so close with Wuya. The young master has a way about him. If this does not encourage Wuya to get out of bed...well. Kage has other ways of rousing the youth soundly.

Wūyā's eyes opened, turning his head and staring deep into his demon's eyes. He smiled more and, with another groan, he sat up from his overly soft up bed his nightgown slipping off one of his shoulders. He closed his eyes once again, falling on the bed and curling up to Kage. He, himself, was being overly fluffy to the other and just after having a nightmare. It was very unusual for him. He smirked as he placed a light kiss on the demon's nose before doing anything else. God, today was going to be a awkward day for him and the household.

"So, what's on the schedule for today, Kage?" Wūyā shifted away from the other as he sat up once again, stretching his arms out. He glanced back behind him, staring at him again. He chuckled lightly to himself before stretching his back. After hearing his back's pop, he ran one of his thin hands in his pale, creamish hair.

The demon could nearly smell the faded duress permeating off of his young master. Another red flag is just how snuggly the boy is being. Normal between them, obviously given how close they are, but still worrying. Kage blinks slowly like a cat when his nose is kissed. Wuya truly could be so deliciously adorable in this mood. At least around the demon. He knows the mortal is a walking terror otherwise but that warms him even more so. Allowing his young charge to move away Kage pushes himself off of the plush bed, taking long strides to the windows and opening the curtains to allow a beam of sunshine to highlight the room.

"Besides the usual morning routine of dressing you and getting you something to eat, I believe today are your lessons as well as viewing some important documents that were mailed in the other night." either way the demon will be there to help Wuya in anyway possible. Going to the impressive wardrobe he carefully selects a fresh outfit for the young master to wear. "Besides all of that I believe the rest is up to you, Master Wuya." he carries the outfit and carefully lays it out over a chair at the vanity before making his way to the rustic telephone. Kage holds the ear piece to his ear and carefully dials the kitchen's phone before holding the mic up to his mouth. "Yes, good morning...would you kindly whip up a fresh breakfast for Master Wuya? We'll need something decadent to start his day." he rumbles appreciatively to the chef he had recruited. No doubt the endearing twin maids would be here soon to make Wuya's bed and flit about like happy little butterflies. The demon strangely loves that about Akira and Akiri.

[I have no idea if one of those old fashioned phones would be allowed in here or not, sorry!]

Loud chopping sounds echoed throughout the kitchen as a lone chef sliced through with with incredible speed. It was rather early in the morning, not even a time with most would awake, but the long haired chef, with her hair tied into a ponytail, continued to hack at the vegetables for the day. Maribelle Lockheart sighed as she finished preparing the vegetables for lunch, dropping the knife against the counter. She was almost tempted to stop then and there, perhaps set fire to the kitchen, and leave. But she knew Kage would have her head for that. Besides, it would be a shame to tarnish a kitchen she had just finished cleaning.

"Maybe if he hired an assistant or two..." Maribelle grumbled to herself as she moved all the vegetables into a small container and set it aside. Without any help she knew she had to start preparations for lunch now or she would never get it done on time. Not only did she have to cater to the Master's meals but everyone else in the mansion. She only continued to grumble until she heard a ringing sound. The phone in the kitchen rang without care for the Chef's precious eardrums so she had no choice but to clean her hands and rush over to it quickly. Kage was on the other end, once again signaling that the Master had just awoken and his meal would need to be ready soon.

Maribelle gasped lightly as she affirmed the order and quickly went to wash her hands again before running over to the stove. She had a few omelets ready in multiple frying pans for the Master and the rest of the staff. Giving them all a quick look over she affirmed that they were ready and quickly set it on one of the plates on a small wooden counter next to the stove. She almost paused to stare at the flame but shook it off and went back to work. Sprinkling various cheeses, vegetables and shredded ham on top of the omelet she then carefully folded it over as to not spill any of her careful work. A knock was heard on the kitchen door as a maid with a small tray awaited the meal. The maid and the Chef only gave each other a quick morning greeting before Maribelle set to finish her work. Adding a small amount of chopped and fried potatoes, something a friend of hers called a hash brown, and a slice of toasted bread beside the meal, Maribelle then gave it to the maid, thanking her again for the trouble.

The woman only sighed as she was tempted to slump down into a stool nearby.

'A Chef doesn't sit till everyone else does.' Maribelle reminded herself before she set off to do the same meal setting for the other servants; now that the Master would have his meal, everyone else would be able to as well.

Alarm, the ringing echoing through the room. The twins lay on the same bed, their foreheads touching as their eyes slowly opened to one another. Their finger's group loosening on the other's as they awoke. Both their eyes narrowing on the small clock above their heads. With strange precision they both raised an arm grabbing the clock from each side, the ringing dieing down quickly by the surge. Pushing themselves up to a siting position on the bed, they nodded to one another before hopping off and quickly getting dressed into casual uniform. Next came their morning ritual, once again joining their hands together joining in the same stance staring at each other. "As a new day begins", one began, "May us continue on" the other one finished. Both of there heads fell to the same side, the same smile spreading to their lips. Near identical motions, characteristics, and dreams.

The two exited the room entering the halls, barely catching a glimpse of Kage. Their eyes widened as they glanced back to each other. "We are late aren't we?", it was Akiri who spoke. "It would seem so.", Akira replied taking a few steps forward, before turning around. Once again the identical pair took the same movements, giving a huge grin and raising their hand closest to the room door to give a peace sign. Both turning on their heels and walking opposite directions.

Akira continued through the halls, loneliness taking her slowly. She began walking a little faster in order to get to the kitchen hoping that preparations were already made. If only they did not wake up late, then her and Akiri could work on the same task together instead of apart. Just before the kitchen she opened a small pantry door shuffling through the different trays before finding the small platter generally used for the quick breakfasts. Stopping in front of the kitchen door she knocked, impatiently waiting for the chef to answer. The confrontation was rather short, not that she minded at all, in fact she liked it that her and the Chef never seemed to talk much unless Akiri were around too. It just meant that she could meet back together with her sister that much faster.

Akiri walked down the hall and entered the guest room. Digging through the shelves in the dresser and grabbing a new bed sheet as well more pillow cases. Hurriedly, she rushed back out of the room, holding the new sheets tight against her chest as she made her way to the Master's chambers. It seemed like she made it before her sister, which put her in a state of nervousness. With her free hand she hesitantly went to knock on the door, only to fail and drop her hand. A bump to her shoulder made her face her side where once again her sister was. A quick smile exchanged as they looked back to the door.

"One Two!" They both chanted before knocking on the door with their free hand. "Master Ch'en, it's the beginning of another day!"

Wūyā winced slightly as his demon opened the curtains, letting the full rays of the sun hit his face and body. He was never fond of the sun, especially as he was sent to the mental institution. Quickly trying to push those thoughts away, he did a fast, quiet yawn before the maids would be there. As he ran all today's schedule in his mind, one question stuck out and spilled out of his lips. "Anything else on the enemy's letter?" His gold, gray eyes went half-lidded and were barely seen through his hair. His hands clutched tightly on the mattress underneath him at his own question.

He suddenly jumped out of his thoughts that were swimming through his head as he heard the knocking from the maids at his door. "C-come in...,"he croaked out. He didn't really like the maids that much, but that goes with everybody else in the world, except Kage of course. He let out a shaky sigh as he looked straight over at the demon butler. "Will talk about it later, Kage..." He stood up from the bed, knowing the maids were going to fix his bed and stretched out his arms, waiting for his demon to change him. He knew he was old of enough to put his own clothes on and he used to do it too, but where would the fun in that be? He rather liked it when Kage's hands would linger slightly at his skin. He smirked at his own thoughts.

Chiyuki shook her head, laying on her back. The Shinigami Realm has been so boring recently. "William, can I please go to the Human Realm?" She asked, looking over at him. He shook his head, looking down at his book. "You can't go yet. There have been no deaths recently." He replied in an irratated tone. She had been asking the same question for the past hour. "Well, fine then." She called after William when he walked away. She crossed her arms in disappointment and stuck her tongue out at him once he turned around the corner. "I don't care what you say, I'm going!" A portal opened up in front of her. "Heh. You can't tell me where I can't go." She yelled before she stepped through.

She popped up in front of the Ch'en's mansion. "How the heck did I end up here?" She mumbled quietly before she turned to walk away. "I don't want to see anyone here." She walked off, away from the steps as far as she could. She was in her human form, and no one would be able to tell that she was a Shinigami. "Wow, I forgot how good I look in my human form." she said, stopping to look at her clothes. They were fairly nice, and the red butterflies on her dress and hat popped more because of the sunlight. "I guess this isn't really the style here." She looked around her to make sure no one was coming before she snapped her fingers and her whole apparel changed. It was more classical looking so she would fit in better.

((OOC: This is the dress that she is currently wearing- Pretty And sorry, I wanted to make her pop up somewhere.))

Anna walked around in her room, her couisn Cody following her, "I'm boredddd cody" she dragged out her words in a childish mannor, sitting on her bed she lay on her stomach and flipped her legs up dangling them in the air, "Do you want to go somewhere fun?" she asked the silent boy.
Cody watched her silently his eyes speaking for him as he nodded his small head a smile on his face, he only ever smiled when he was alone with Anna, Cody didn't tend to feel comfortable enough to do anything like that around other people.
Anna smiled cheerfully as she hopped off her bed and took the boys small hand, "All right, here we go" she grinned as she closed her eyes.
She felt her body being pulled in thousands of directions as a thick empty darkness envoked her, she made sure never to release Cody's hand as it pulled aat hi too despereate to rip apart his molecules and hers. Anna concentrated on her destination and being whole, luckily Cody only had to concentrate on being whole. This was a special trick Anna had, it involved stepping through the fabric of time space itself allowing her to travel wherever she wished to go and it would in real time only take a few seconds. She never told anyone about it, only Cody, and she never even told him how to do it, she just made sure that he concentrated on being whole so he wouldn't loose himself to the universe. It was a dangerous route of travel to take, one slip up and a part of you could be taken.
As she felt the pulling begin to loosen she calmed down her pulse and allowed both her and Cody to step into a room out of literal thin air as it would appear to any one that saw them. Anna looked around at some maids tidying a bed then noticed the smirk her current interest had.
"Are you thinking bad things?" she suddenly said revealing her presence to Wūyā as she moved her body so her hair fell over her shoulders in a playful way.
Cody refused to let go of her hand as he watched his adoring couisn.

"Yes Wuya, we'll discuss it later." he muses soothingly to the boy. Kage is but one demon and if this supposed other family honestly has any way to reveal him there could be trouble for the Ch'en estate. Hearing the maids he purrs and opens the door, bowing to his darling little princesses. "Good morning Akira and Akiri. Thank you for being so punctual. I'll also be sure to thank our talented chef in due time for the master's breakfast." these three girls he has rescued; Akira, Akiri and Maribelle, they are undeniably important to him. Kage feels they are his daughters. He's old enough to have...well, many by now. While the girls are important to him Wuya is still high on the pedestal as something closer than family or friend. He closed the door behind the quick maids before going to dress Wuya.

The demon gently guided his young master to a rich dressing screen in the corner of the room. Kage winked at Wuya and gently pulled up the nightgown, draping it over the screen. "Perhaps instead of all work today we could plan a dear picnic? I think everyone in this mansion has been doing far too much for the estate and far too little for themselves. I'm certain Miss Maribelle, Miss Akira and Miss Akiri wouldn't mind a break, Master Wuya." he inclines his head at the boy, eyelids dropping so his smoldering eyes lock onto that delicate face. Yes ever a demon of desire but also sloth, gluttony and envy.

His hands ghosted along Wuya's form simply to dress the young master, teasing him mildly as he finishes by buttoning Wuya's tailed coat. With good timing as an energy intrudes while Kage guides Wuya out from behind the screen. He frowns at the girl and the young boy pointedly, eyes narrowing. "I know I am. Master, shall I escort this trespassing trollop and her street urchin out?" personally the demon would want to make an example of these two. Hang them by their ankles in the courtyard, cut off their hair, dump tar and feathers over them, hurl a beehive at them, just something nasty that an impish demon would want to do on the first offense. He knows Wuya does not like this person. Therefore Kage does not care for her company either nor the little runt clinging to her.

Wūyā' smirked as his precious demon dressed him. He loved the way he would tease him slightly as he put the layers of clothing on his body. Attempting to keep his thoughts away from certain thoughts, he kept his light of sight on Kage in front of him, but it didn't help that much. "Yes, picnic sounds lovely for today. They do deserve a break from all this hard work." He made a quiet whimper as he was fully dressed, it caught him off guard that the other stopped his actions. He was way in too deep in this, he was downright addicted to the demon, his demon.

The pale boy's brow furrowed slightly and twitched. Why does that woman have to interrupt his day, especially in the morning? He didn't really care for the silent relative of hers. It was mostly Anna he hated. She would come to his mansion and insist them to feed her and do her bidding. She has her own money and servants, he wished she could order them for day and leave his household alone. Though, she is very stubborn and he knows that she'll only leave unless she gets what she's wants. He glanced over the two intruders before looking up to his demon. "You'll know they'll come back if you do that." He readjusted his cuffs just a bit before continuing. "Just give her what she wants until she goes away." With that said, Wūyā' huffed softly and started to walk out of his room, wanting to go to his office for some last minute paper work he needed to finish. Before he went out the door, he glanced at Kage one more time before leaving, sending him a mental message to him.

My office. Ten minutes.

[No, it's not what you think. He wants to talk about the Rival's letter. XD]

Chiyuki remembered she had no idea how to get into the public part London without getting lost or going back to face William. She needed help desperately, not wanting to be monitored again. She snapped her fingers, once again changing her clothes to something more England traveler style. She ran up to the mansion doors quickly and knocked on the door. She paced around, thinking to herself. "What happens if they know me? Will they tell William or Ronald or Grell?' She was working herself up too much. Of course that wouldn't happen. She distinctly had two different appearances. She tapped her foot impatiently; she was actually considering using her death scythe to break down the door and let herself in. Instead, she decided to wait a couple more minutes and if they didn't answer, she would go with what se was considering earlier.

"Awww but its no fun if you don't wait on me Wuya" Anna smiled wickedly as she skipped beside him refusing to leave him alone. She knew something had happened recently which disturbed him, she figured about what the reason was but she wasn't going to say anything. In these kind of situations she prefered to be the observer rather than getting involved. Though she may help a little if she decides she wants too, of course that was only if it looked fun.
She looked behind her at Kage and stuck her tongue out at him childishly, she wasn't happy being called a trollop, she accepting tresspassing though as she knew she was. "How about you serve me some cake hmm?" she said sweetly suddenly clinging onto Wuya's arm lovingly in a teasing sort of way as she matched his pace. "I'll let you have some tooo" she said cheekily.

Cody just meekly followed Anna silently not showing much emotion to Kage when Anna stuck her tongue out at him, he did brighten a little at the mention of cake though and frowned when Anna gripped Wuya's arm. He didn't do anything but he scowled the entire time.

The morning was way to bright for him. Aki yawned loudly as he straightened his shirt alittle, the garden had been well taken care of, he had just gone over it giving most of the plants some water, which he'd probably get to the rest later after a moment of relaxation. He really had no other duties other then to tend to the plants make sure they stayed healthy, so he spent most of his time just enjoying the nature that surrounded him. He found a decent spot to sit down between a group of scarlet pimpernel, and calla lillies. He pulled out a book from his pocket and dove back into the story.

Aki's mind turned to the story and just stuck with it, though part of it wandered to how he ended up in this situation oh how betrayal was so much fun, when you were the one committing it. He let the book rest in his lap a sigh of displeasure escaping his lips as he closed his eyes and just laid back. He didn't mind being a gardener now, actually he rather enjoyed spending most if not all of his day amongst several different kinds of flowers and other plants. He found it more relaxing to be around nature and animals, least they didn't stab you in the back. He thought to himself, removing the band around his hair and letting it fall out of it's pony-tail as he ruffled it up and sighed, his mind closing off the memories again, and slowly he was beginning to relax. Though he couldn't help but wonder how long it would last, it wasn't like he was forced to do anything else, at least not yet anyways. He wasn't sure if he'd be asked to do other things amongst the mansion, he tapped his chin trying to think of other skills he could offer; well that weren't ment for killing people anyways. He shrugged his shoulders when none came to him as he picked up his book crossing his legs as he sat up resting on hand on his knee his chin in his palm as he returned to the story to get away from reality.

(This will be awfully short too, have to post in something else, and then run out.. I'll have to catch up later, probably tomorrow afternoon, since I don't think anything was planned for me then..)

The twins entered the room, getting quiet at Kage's remark. Akira placed the tray on the nightstand and joined Akiri in watching Master and Kage for a moment before turning to each other. Both giving a slight shrug they moved around the bed, quickly redressing it as needed. The word of a picnic barely reached their ears, making both of their faces light up. Sharing the same expression as they looked towards the dressing screen. However with the entrance of another body the quickly tried to muffle their emotions. Even though they were completely done with the bed they still carried on, nit picking at the simplest of lines in the sheets. Not only did they want to hear if more was going on, but being in the presence of Master and Kage was always a treat to enjoy.

When the new entrant started asking for her to be served cake they both looked quietly at Kage. There minds were probably along the same train of thought, how would it be possible to just let Kage serve a stranger that intrudes? There cheeks flustered when she even walked over and clung to Master's arm. Glancing to one another they both put on a cold glare back towards the girl whom began to disappear out of sight. Trying to keep the sight they walked over to the door, leaning out to barely be capable of glaring after her. "Kage?" Akiri spoke, letting her sister continue, "We don't like that girl," Akira gave a sigh as Akiri once again took her place, "what is the quickest way to get her to leave?"

Kage's face remained hard as stone when the trader spoke to him. He resists the urge to reach out and gnarl his fingers in her hair, shake her around to snap her scrawny neck. Not only does Wuya dislike her (therefore Kage must) but as a guardian demon he is highly aware of anyone trying to harm his master at all times. Especially trespassing trollops her drag their filthy kin into a home that does not belong to them. Kage could also see how distressed his charming twins were. This displeases him further and he bristles, catching Wuya's message and forlornly watching his master being stalked by the trader. He leans over Akira and Akiri, kissing their dear little heads. "She...wants cake. I shall fetch it. In the meantime my little cherubs do not let her out of your sight. I don't want her alone with Wuya. You tell me if she does anything else unsavory."

The tall demon coos to them, wanting them to feel better. He's glad they see reason to distrust the trader. Nuzzling the maids' pretty heads he walks out of his master's chambers and heads into the kitchen. Kage flourishes his arm and smiles at the hard working chef. "Maribelle, I have a surprise for us today. I'll be organizing a picnic and you don't have to lift a finger for it. I'll be cooking for us all." he'll need to invite the gardener as well. Eyes scanning the bustling kitchen he tilts his head at the girl, "We do require a small cake. That trader has invited herself in and is leeching the poor master.", a knock at the door stops his surmounting rant, "Ah...thank you for making the master's breakfast but now I do require a cake. One moment my swan, I hear someone at the door."

Going to the large double doors of the mansion front he opens it to find a small girl. Although she doesn't smell like one clearly. Kage arches a groomed brow inquisitively. "May I help you? This is the Ch'en residence." in the background he spies the gardener and nods towards the ex-assassin.

Wūyā gritted his teeth and attempted to endure the moment with the trader attached to his arm. For any other man, this would be a perfect moment, a woman holding onto them, but not him. He was never really fond of women. Even if he didn't have Kage, if would never be attracted to anybody, he was only attracted to his demon and will always be until the day he takes his soul.

He continued to endure her hopeless babble as he came to his office, opening the door, and shutting it behind Cody. He still had manners for the ones he dislikes. He wriggled his arm out of Anna's grasp, wanting her to stop touching him. He hurried over to his desk and sat down in his office chair, trying to relax and make the slow forming headache go away. Hopefully, Kage brings the cake soon...I don't think I can handle anymore of this.

The twins froze, feeling the pair of lips touching delicately touching their heads. Both of them turning pink, leaning on each other for support as if to avoid falling weak. "Y-Yes Kage!" They both exclaimed loudly, lowering their heads to him as he walked out the door. When his presence was gone, they turned to one another bouncing cheerfully. "We will surely win him over in the end!" Both their hands joined to create a loud clap before they left for their 'mission'.

The two were surprisingly into these little tasks, especially when they are given by none other than Kage. Though there was a tendency to over do it by a few levels. They advanced down the hall, ducking behind every little thing in the hallway to remain out of sight. Following Master and the girl to his office before the door was closed before them. Glancing at each other, Akira advanced first, leaning against the door listening in. Akiri took post in the hallway looking around for a moment before joining her sister against the door. "I can't hear anything..." She whispered, starring at Akira. "Lets take a peek then?" Akira silently replied, carefully turning the handle and barely cracking the door open. Both of them immediately leaning in to see through the crack.

Anna sighed as she came into Wuya's office, shes was a little dissapointed when all Wuya did was wriggle away from her. She expected some back chat.
Finding a rather comfortable looking leather couch opposite his desk she slumped down on it her faace brimming in a smile. Cody quietly followed suit sitting polietly at the edge as Anna stretched her legs out on the thing.

"So any news recently? I would have thought you'd have recieved a letter or something" Anna said absently as she raised her hand in the air to look at it as though it captured her attention. Really she was pushing Wuya to see how he felt about having a new rival. She knew about the situation and had even met his rival out of sheer curiosty which was how she knew he had sent a letter. She really did like to be everywhere at once, if she didn't know something it annoyed her.

Chiyuki looked up at Kage in amazement. "I need help to get to London." She looked down at the ground. "I'm afraid must have gotten lost. "I was supposed to meet Rona-" She stopped, clamping her mouth shut. What was she worried about? No one knows Ronald anyway. "I'm supposed to meet my friend there." She quickly said after a while. She looked back up at Kage; a smile falshing across her face. "So could you tell me how to get there?" She mumbled nervously. "What are you worrying about? you could easily take him out.' She thought, taking a step back wards, so she was on the edge of the steps. Balancing on her heels, she waited patiently for Kage's answer to her half lies. 'He not smart enough to see past them? Right?' She thought; making herself panicked again.

Maribelle sighed as she was just finished flavoring and stuffing the duck she was about to roast for lunch. The breakfast preparations hadn’t been so bad; although she prepared quite a bit of food for each plate, there was only a handful of people to serve it to. The moment she was finished with the breakfast call she immediately returned to working on the duck she had started to prepare the night before; if she hadn’t started now she would never be done by lunch time as the ‘Grand Cuisine’ style of cooking seemed to be popular; Maribelle only wished that it didn’t take so long. So Maribelle continued to go on to stuff the duck as she dreamed of a future where any food could be created within the blink of an eye.

It was only after she was done and ready to place the perfected duck into the oven when a familiar face popped into her kitchen. Kage flourished his arm towards the young chef as he then informed her about an upcoming picnic. He had even informed her that he would be doing the cooking and all that she would need to prepare would be a simple cake. With a characteristic smile and endearment he had left the kitchen as quickly as he entered. Maribelle’s face flushed a tiny shade of pink before she shook it off and went on to prepare for cake; she could never read what was on the demon’s mind; she was incredibly grateful for him for saving her from the institution but found him very hard to read and, to an extension, trust.

She shook her thoughts from her mind as she quickly set out to place the duck into one of the ovens anyways; by setting it a lower temperature she could easily have it stay longer inside the over and have it ready for dinner instead. After quickly washing her hands, Maribelle exchanged the dark apron she had on for a white one and moved to the other side of the kitchen where the baking supplies were kept.
