To everyone's knowledge, Eleia is a soft, gentle and often hair-brained young woman who cares deeply about animals and the earth but also values her appearance and physical state. when someone says her name people automatically think of a flirty vixen, without a care in the world. however true that may have been, Eleia harbors inner demons deep in her soul as the result of her father's suicide. since his untimely death, she has become increasingly reserved and shy upon first meeting her, and she doesn't handle responsibility well, often choosing to get lost in her daydreams than to face the real world.
Eleia has dreams of finding her own prince charming. she is constantly looking for the one to make her forget about her father and bring life and her carefree ways back into her life. she has a deep desire to know about people's pasts, and she describes herself as a good listener. Eleia can be at times very naive to the world but she has a wicked sense of humor once you get to know her. Eleia's hobbies include painting, piecing together outfits, arts and crafts and helping animals. she is often seen as the mother of any given group of friends.
B I O G R A P H Y
Eleia's life was perfect. With a loving father and a mother who cared, there was nothing left for her to need or desire. Aphrodite did everything in her power to make sure that Eleia lived a good life... until she returned to Olympia and abandoned her life on Earth when Eleia was seven years old. her father, Lucian, tried his hardest to raise Eleia despite his crushing depression after losing the love of his life, but it was not enough. at twelve Eleia came home from school to find her father in the living room with the barrel of a shotgun in his mouth. the image of him that day still haunts her dreams at night. some nights she doesn't sleep at all.
after his death, Eleia was tossed back and forth between family members until she was sixteen. she continued to battle various different types of mental disorders as a result of her father's suicide, including PTSD and manic depressive episodes. at the age of fifteen she attempted to commit suicide by overdosing on sleeping pills, to no avail. her stomach was pumped and she was held under the scrutinizing gaze of nurses until Aphrodite decided that the best way to help her daughter was to bring her to Legacy Academy, where she could finally be among other demigods.
