Mitsy is usually shy, but gets friendly with people once she gets to know them. Two weeks before the world ended, she witnessed the death of her younger sister in a car crash with a drunk driver. Though the driver was sentenced to life, Mitsy has never gotten over her sister's death. She is cocky at times, but is good fun to get along with.

Born in London, UK, Mitsy Sayato was not the same as most girls. Whilst others played with their dolls & dressed up, Mitsy preferred pictures and art. At 8 years old, she was given a BTEC certificate in Art for a portrait of renowned Photographer [NAME TOO SMUDGED FOR IDENTIFICATION].

On her 10th Birthday, her father passed a Family Heirloom onto Mitsy: a 19██ Camera that Mitsy's great grandfather brought in the 1960's. At 16, she passed her GCSE's with A's & B's and began work as a Photographer. However, her life soon took a turn for the worse...

On her 20th birthday, she was driving home with her 12-year-old sister and a friend, when a Toyota Land Rover hit them head on. Though Mitsy & her friend survived, Mitsy's sister was pronounced dead by medics at the scene. An inquest into the accident revealed the driver of the Land Rover was 4 times over the legal limit. He was convicted of "Causing Death by Dangerous Driving" & "Manslaughter". Despite being jailed for life and losing his licence, Mitsy was devastated over her sister's death and has never gotten over it.

Two weeks passed. The night the world ended, Mitsy was preparing to meet her boyfriend for dinner. She never made it to the diner....

When the warnings of incoming warheads were announced, people panicked. Anarchy, Riots, Lootings and Killings. Chaos reigned as mankind's final hours came. As the warheads were sighted people ran. What many saw were the warheads exploding upon impact. What many didn't see, as they tried to outrun the nuclear blast, was a figure floating upwards into a light.

Inside the Crew Quarters were several cryogenic sleep-pods. Inside one of them was Mitsy Sayato. Now, she was waking up.

First the ice thawed out. Then she blinked. Finally, the pod doors opened. Trying to climb out, Mitsy slipped and fell to the floor, scraping her arm on the door in the process.

Damn it. That's going to leave a scar.

Mitsy said as she got up, slow and steady. She looked around, wondering where she was.

Well, this ain't no film set. But where is everyone?
Mitsy thought as she put her coat on. Being inside the sleep-pod made her cold. She looked around and saw a window with blackness. As she looked through the window, she saw a planet with a barren wasteland. She suddenly realised that the planet she was looking at was Earth.

Backing away from the window, Mitsy was shocked at what she saw. She tried to reassure herself that everything would be alright.

Ok Mitsy. The world is gone, family is possibly dead and I'm on a fucking spaceship. I'm probably one of the last humans alive. But how did I get here?

She said to herself. She thought for a minute on what she should do, before deciding that it wasn't worth waiting for the other pods to open. She walked to the door, opened it and went to explore the ship.

Hearing the voice, Mitsy stopped. It knew who she was. But how? Maybe the voice knew why she was brought onto this ship. Maybe it could explain why she was saved.

"My name is ... I was dubbed Sarah by Engineer Alex, repairs are almost complete and all will become clear," Sarah replied "Earth was destroyed but I was able to bring those with the highest likelihood to survive aboard, a total of 148 people. Currently you may assign your own duties based on your own skills"

The lights flickered for a brief moment before a low hum was heard, the air beginning alter a little as Environmental system repairs were completed. "Primary systems are now on-line, lock down will end in 90 seconds"

"Our Engineer is currently in Main Engineering, please follow the guidance lights," Sarah replied. "But yes there are others currently on-board, though only you and Alex are currently awake."

The lights in the wall flickered and began flashing in a direction forward through the corridors, intended to lead Mitsy to Alex.

"Currently we require key personnel, a Navigator, a Science Officer, and a Tactical Officer" Sarah replied to the second part of Mitsy' inquiry now.

To be honest, I'm not sure I'm cut-out for any of those openings. I mean, I did some mapping of the stars as a young girl, and although I kept the maps I made, they were probably destroyed with Earth's destruction. Unless you somehow got my possessions onto the ship.

Mitsy jokingly said to Sarah, laughing as well. Then she stopped. The AI probably wouldn't understand human behaviour.

So, you'd like me to meet this "Alex"? Just so you know, I had a boyfriend. But he's dead, so I don't really care. I'll just go and meet this engineer of yours.

Mitsy said. She hoped that Sarah wouldn't try and get Alex and her together.

"All humans who were brought aboard, I was able to retrieve possessions based on home data in their communication devices, all possessions and more are stored in the cargo hold, access however is currently restricted, until repairs are complete. Perhaps you would be more comfortable cataloguing your travels, ensuring the crew are happy and recording their thoughts?" Sarah replied

Alex was staring blankly at the screen, having somehow managed to cobble most of the repairs together, the last one was going to require him to get seriously creative.

"This last one can't be remotely Sarah, I'm going to need direct access to the power grid down there, on the upside environmental is stable, has anyone else woken yet? What are your current power levels?" Alex asked into the air while remaining to stare at the huge red void of power toward the aft of the ship.

"One and she is currently on her way to speak with you, she seems confused as to my intentions in sparing those I have,"Sarah replied

"Dragging a hundred plus humans from the planet, a willing to save the race? I'm sure your intent was to spare us being cooked alive, but not everyone is going to adjust well Sarah. We weren't made to be up here like this, not yet. We aspired to it, but we weren't there yet, we just need to refocus her attention."Alex's voice was quiet a train of thought more to himself than an actual answer.

"Human behaviour is erratic, and unpredictable," Sarah replied.

Alex laughed softly and nodded "Aye we are a strange breed that's for sure, so back to my original question"

"To access those levels you will need to enter a Zero-G environment, currently this is not possible" Sarah replied.

Alex stared at the screen and sighed "Of course it isn't, the power conduits to that section are external and that's why I cant access them from here,"
