Personality:
Daniel is very protective of his mother. He would do just about anything for her and he hates to see her stressed out after a long day of work. He does everything he can around the house so she doesn’t have to. When he’s not worried about his mother or keeping the family afloat, he’s practicing football or studying as hard as he can. He will push himself until he drops because he wants to show his mother that everything she does is not in vain. Daniel is generally a very laid back, sweet, and gentle guy. He accepts people as they are and understands that not everyone is as they seem on the outside. Sometimes he is made fun of for being an all buff and no brains because he stares off into the distance sometimes (which people mistake for zoning out) when really he is usually in deep thought or trying to figure out a solution to a problem in his head.
History:
Daniel grew up in a relatively normal family. He has 3 brothers 2 older (James [25] and Nicholas [21]) and 1 younger (Adam [16]). They stayed out in the yard until dusk playing football, wrestling, or playing cops and robbers. They played with neighbor kids, refused to take baths, and got scolded by their parents. Life was pretty good for the 4 boys. That is, until Daniel was about 10 years old. His father got into a serious head on car accident and was sent to the hospital in critical condition. All 4 boys got to speak to him one last time, and his family was there when he died. It turned out that the other driver was a teenager who was high on acid, and had no idea the affect he had. Daniel’s mother grieved for about a week and then took it upon herself to feed and clothe all of her boys, and refused any help. She took on 3 jobs, paid for them to stay involved with sports, and talked to school officials about payment options. Now, the only boys that live at home are Daniel and Adam. James and Nicholas moved out and are living on their own. They send money to their mother every once in awhile anonymously to help pay for food and shelter. Daniel is dead set on getting perfect grades and a career that will insure that his mother will never have to work another day in her life. He doesn’t tell anyone of his family life, and everyone just assumes he’s perfect.
