Personality:
Sabastian comes across as having a big ego, but in reality he is rather insecure about himself. He views committed relationships as a tool to hurt and manipulate others. Bas is afraid of letting someone to get that close to him, and they turn everything against him. So to protect himself he sleeps around, never letting anyone get close to him. He'd rather 'tap and drop, than be royally fucked' by a woman.

History:
Sabastian may have been well off in terms of money growing up, but his parents had a dysfunctional relationship. It was volatile at best, each waging emotional war on each other. Trying to use what they could as leverage, including Bas. This made it difficult for him in terms of having a long term intimate relationship with a woman, viewing it as hell. Leading him down the road of sleeping with a woman once or twice and then dropping them. Using them and never getting attached.
