Healer's Duty
While not actually a healing magic, it is the duty of a healer to send off the souls of the dead. For each healer, it may be different- one may sing a hymn, one may dance, and one may only say a prayer. However, the amount of souls sent off is directly related to a healer's level. At an advanced level, a healer like Lorelei can send off the souls of the dead from an entire battlefield.
Heal-Lv I
The most basic of healing magic, it heals your everyday cuts, scrapes, and bruises. May also heal minor sickness, such as the cold and the flu. However, to perform this magic, the user must touch what they are healing, taking the pain of the wound and/or the symptoms of the sickness upon themselves.
Heal-Lv II
A more advanced level of healing magic. By touch, the user can heal most wounds- as long as they are not fatal or bone-deep. They can also heal sickness, as long as it is not terminal or life-threatening. However, they take the pain of the wound and/or the symptoms of the sickness upon themselves.
Barrier/Dismantle
The user of this magic creates a barrier around themselves in a five-foot radius. This protects against most magical attacks. The magic can also be reversed to take down other Barriers.
Haste/Slow
This magic can be used on oneself or on another. It can speed up allies or slow down enemies.
Signature Ability:
Consultation
This magic is simple; it detects sickness and wounds on inside and/or outside of the body. The use this magic, the patient MUST lie down on their backs. Then, the user of this magic 'scans' the body by concentrating the magic into their hands, using it to 'see' the body. This works much like an X-ray, and requires the user's full concentration. Because of this, they are vulnerable to attack whenever they are using this magic. It also does NOT actually heal anything.

Heal-Lv III
The most advanced level of healing magic, only master healers can perform it. Well, unless you're a child genius like Lorelei, who has studied healing magic all of his life. By touch and concentrated incantation, his magic can heal fatal, bone-deep, and poisoned wounds. It can heal any sickness, except terminal sicknesses. However, this magic comes at a great cost. The user of this magic takes the pain of the wound and/or the symptoms of the sickness upon themselves. While this may not seem like much, many a healer has died from shock derived directly from the pain they received by healing.
Regen Link
One of the most powerful and dangerous of healing magics, Regen Link can be correctly performed only by the most advanced healers. By forming a temporary 'bond' with a person, the user of this ability constantly heals the Bonded over a period of time. This can be used in battle, giving the Bonded the advantage of constant healing. Someone at Lorelei's level can only do this for up to two people at a time, and with great strain on himself; however, it is possible for a Grand Master Healer to be able to perform this ability on several people at once. This ability, no matter the level, comes with it's costs- first of all, when the user of this ability 'bonds' with someone, they temporarily share the Bonded's mind and soul. This means that they share their thoughts, feel the wounds the Bonded takes, and can feel the Bonded's emotions. It is likewise with the healer, although the Bonded doesn't feel any wounds that the healer might take. Also, the healer cannot 'bond' with someone unless the Bonded accepts it (meaning I'll ask permission before using this ability with someone). Secondly, in addition to feeling any wounds the Bonded might take, this ability puts great strain on the body and mind of the healer. Due to the nature of this ability, usually only Grand Healers and Grand Master Healers are considered for training on this ability. Those who are not specifically trained in using this ability are highly recommended not using it at all.
Full Throttle Ability:
Resurrection
This magic can only be used as a last resort, for the user must give their own life to perform this magic. By doing so, they can fully revive a person as long as they have not passed away for more than an hour.
Personality:
Lorelei is an outgoing and friendly person. He doesn't hesitate when it comes to talking to strangers, although sometimes it can land him in trouble. He's a little too trusting of others, and can be embarrassed easily. He's very calm and kind, as his bedside manner has taught him to be patient with others. Although still very young, Lorelei acts much more mature for his age than most kids. He's also very polite. Because of his abilities, he is often physically weak. He knows this, but he also doesn't want to burden anyone. Lorelei is also the type of person to hide his pain behind a smile, telling others that everything is okay all the while.
Lorelei is a scholar of healing magic, having studied it since he was seven years old. Being a child prodigy, he excelled in it and learned quickly, becoming the youngest Grand Healer at the age of 16. His name is known far and wide, although few know his face.

Biography:
Lorelei was born in Setsuri, like any normal Humari. However, unlike any normal Humari, Lorelei has absolutely no memory of his childhood. He doesn't remember anything from before he turned seven years old. For as long as he's known, he's lived in a house by himself. The earliest memory he has is of when he found the library in his home- a huge room filled with books on healing magic. It grabbed his interest, and so from that day on he spent every waking moment reading, learning, and practicing. Somehow, he made a meager living by using his healing abilities on people who were too poor to afford a proper healer.
A year later, Lorelei woke up one night to find a robber in his home, stealing what little food he had. Before Lorelei could say anything, however, the black-haired boy ran off out of the house and into the street. Giving chase, Lorelei ran after him, strategically chasing him out into the open where he hoped an officer of the law might help catch him. This plan backfired. Instead, the poor black-haired boy ended up getting run over by a horse and carriage. Lorelei, feeling guilty that this happened because he chased him out into the open, healed the older boy enough so that he would live; he took the pain, feeling for the first time what an incredible amount of pain could do to the mind. Although he couldn't heal the black-haired boy completely, Lorelei was surprised when the boy pledged his life to him as soon as he was recovered. The black-haired boy even ended up living with him, and stays by Lorelei's side to this day.
