The war is over. Harry, Hermione, and Ron are all back in school. Draco was permitted back to school, so long as Headmaster McGonagall's promises to keep a close eye on him. Within the first week of their last year at Hogwarts, all four were called into the Headmaster's office and told to get along. Ron's still having troubles coping with it, Hermione doesn't seem to care very much either way, and Harry's actually getting along quite well with him. Not that they're friends or anything, far from it. They just aren't concerned about trying to kill each other anymore.

In Defense class one day, they were studying Occlumency. Harry had a book that Draco needed, and after he refused to give it over, Draco jumped at him. In that second, Neville Longbottom cast an incorrect spell that hit both of them. Needless to say, they woke up in the hospital a few hours later... with the ability to hear one anothers thoughts.

Now, they weren't in control of it yet though, so they could only hear random bits and pieces of the others thoughts. And it was painful, especially when they got close. When they were able to finally calm down enough to make it to the Headmaster's office, they were informed that it would take two lunar cycles for the potion to undo such a spell to be complete. This was on October twenty third, meaning they had to wait until December twenty second to get the link removed.

Draco was the first to figure out how to work the link, and he discovered he was able to block his thoughts from getting out and he could actually speak to Harry through the link- though he was still getting Harry's thoughts. This was done purposefully though... Draco needed to put up the walls, because he had a secret he needed to hide. At first he didn't want to help Harry learn how to put up his own mental walls, refusing to show him how he had done it. Though after Harry strung him up with a spell, Draco finally relented and handed over the same book that had got them into this mess. Both can now speak to each other through the link, and random thoughts no longer swirl around the others head.

Harry was the one who finally decided he and Draco needed to be friends. And eventually, even Draco warmed to the idea of being... civil with The Chosen One. That is until Harry finds Draco snoozing in the library, and his curiosity gets the best of him. The only bit of the dream that Harry sees is Draco shirtless, pressed against a door with his wrists pinned above him. Who else is kissing him but another bloody bloke? Not a moment later Draco wakes, chair knocking back to the floor and he bolted, leaving his bag in the library while people stare and wonder what's gotten into him.

Where does that leave Harry though? And the rest of them?

Draco refuses to leave his room, and Harry refuses to give his bag back until Draco comes and meets him. /He's said the same thing every morning. If you want your bag back, come talk to me.

Harry and Ginny are off at the moment, with Harry being confused about the link and Ginny being jealous that Malfoy is the only thing on Harry's mind recently- most literally.

Ginny and Dean are getting along quite well. Why doesn't Harry seem to mind?

Pansy is still chasing after Draco, too bad she doesn't know what Harry does. At least she's got Blaise there for her.

Blaise is still trying to convince Draco to go out and talk to Harry, being the only person that knows about Draco's little secret.

We start the morning Draco finally decides to go get his bag back.
