Personality

Gilbert is an idealist.
He is quiet, reflective, and idealistic. Interested in serving humanity. Has a well-developed value system, which he strivse to live in accordance with. He is extremely loyal. He is adaptable and laid-back unless a strongly-held value is threatened. He is a talented writers. He is mentally quick, and able to see possibilities. Interested in understanding and helping people.

Equipment

Two Items:
A clear stone hung on a silver chain, it is infused with processed mana, allowing him to control certain Elements.
He carries with him a staff made of aged and twisted oak. It is also fused with processed mana giving him better control and more power over his Elements. It is usually slung over his back when not in use.

History

Gilbert is unsure of where exactly he came from. Nor does he remember much of his childhood. He does remember the fact that he was adopted at the late age of fourteen and he soon ran from that home, forcing himself to live on the streets. He fended for himself at first by stealing, then by scamming others. He would soon come to realize, though, his ability to control elements.
One day, Gilbert bumped into a vampire on one of his stealing days. Gilbert had pick pocketed a necklace he had be carrying on his person. Although this man was a vampire, he took it as his responsibility to teach Gilbert manners. He scolded him for stealing and warned him to stop it, if he did, the vampire would entrust the clear stone he had so hastily stolen from him. Gilbert thought it over, but then took the smart choice and accepted, receiving the stone. Later on in his life, he discovered that when he slept the stone somehow enabled him to access an area known as the fade. It was there where the stone absorbed it's first storage of mana under Gilbert's possession. It was there where Gilbert learned how to control particular elements. Gilbert continued on with his life, up until now, age nineteen. He still searches for the vampire that gave him the stone, as he also searches for other vampires like him. Along with other monsters of the night and day.
