The Boy Who Lived
Harry is an extremely loyal individual. To him, friends and family are the most important things in life and he will do anything in his power to protect them. He has a keen sense of right and wrong and always goes with his gut instinct (though it isn't always right). He has a stubborn personality and can sometimes show arrogance when confronted by people who doubt his abilities. He is quick to anger with those who test his patience (Draco, for example) and needs time to calm down once he does get angry. Harry is incredibly competitive and often gets himself into extremely dangerous situations due to blind bravery. He has developed a bit of a hero complex, constantly feeling the need to protect people even when it isn't his place to do so.

As a young baby, Voldemort tried to kill Harry because he heard a prophesy that said one may not live while the other survives. Harry survived the curse, with a scar to mark the horrible night, and went to Hogwarts to study magic at the age of 11. His years there were spent making close friendships with Hermione and Ron as well as getting into a lot of trouble. Harry eventually defeated Voldemort in his final year at Hogwarts and now works as an auror at the Ministry of Magic.
