She picked up her phone and walked into the bathroom, checking for any text messages which it was obvious that there weren't going to be any. She didn't really have any friends but she didn't mind. That just gave her more time to do what she wanted.
She didn't have to go into work until later this afternoon. She wasn't even supposed to be working at all today but one of the girls at the daycare had to leave early so she figured since she had nothing better to do that she could cover for her.
Val had always loved kids and this was a close second to actually having a family of her own. She had an on and off boyfriend but it was too complicated to even get into. She took a shower and got ready, walking downstairs and into the kitchen to get something to eat. Her father had decided he was going to move in with his current girlfriend to see how it would work out and had left the house to her so she was free to do as she pleased which meant having her boyfriend over on the days that they were dating. She smiled as she saw him sitting downstairs, cooking breakfast. She liked having him around but there were times when she wished he would just go away.

"Leave me alone!!!" She yelled to the phone. Falling to her couch she was to tired to hear her parents complain about her moving out. She was only seventeen yes, but she had a good head on her shoulders. She still went to high school, had a nice little house, a job, and she was able to do what she loved in life. DANCE. Slowly she pushed her aching body off the couch and headed up the stiars for a shower.
