Glacies chuckled at Rogue's blush and returned a small one when she realized what she just did. It wasn't exactly what you would call "proper". She shook her head at him when he "offered" to help her.

I'm okay. Let's go.

Glacies began walking ahead of Rogue, expecting him to follow behind her. After a few minutes of walking, her walk starting becoming a limp, but she did her best to keep her posture nice and straight. Glacies decided this would be an appropriate time to start up a conversation.

So... um, how is this going to work?

Immediately after Glacies asked this, she felt a sharp shoot through her leg and she stumbled over, catching herself on a nearby tree. The pain was so sudden and painful that it caused her eyes to well up in tears. Glacies got embarrassed because she didn't want Rogue to think of her as weak. Glacies turned her face towards the tree to wipe her tears away and pushed herself off the tree.

Let's keep on going.

Glacies made a ridiculous attempt to continue walking because the pain quickly returned and she gripped onto Rogue's sleeve, so she wouldn't fall face first into the ground. Glacies held her head down, so she wouldn't have to look at him. Glacies wiped away her stubborn tears that came back whenever she got the pain. As much as she hated to admit it, she wouldn't be able to walk much further.
