Amargo Moore

Age:
16
Gender:
Female
Element/Type of Magic:
Air||Amargo is a Magni of air, meaning she can manipulate it as she sees fit. However at her age, her skill level is far from being considered a master. Currently Amargo's specialty is solidifying the very thing we breathe in. Whether it be to seemingly walk on air, create a shield of densely compacted air or a solid blast. Each individual use varies in strength. An instance was when she made footholds in the air that went about ten feet off the ground. Lets just say the last couple steps went back to being the good ol air we all know and Amargo spent the majority of her summer at the hospital.
Weapon: N/A
Appearance:
Standing at about 5'6 and weighing no more than 124, Amargo is a rather lanky young woman. Soft but thick curls fall from the crown of her head to her elbows and will often keep it tied up loosely to get out of the way. Her skin is of a ivory color accented by a pair of dark grey eyes with thick lashes and an ever grinning smile. She generally wears sporty clothing but doesn't mind dresses or other girly attires when it's necessary. Amargo never goes without a pair of sneakers. She will always have them on her person in the possibility that she may need them for later. The young girl has no blemishes to speak of save for the few scars she has acquired through youthful activities. One such scar is on her knee, another alongside her arm and the last one is on her chin.

Personality:
Amargo is the kind of girl who you'll see with that large goofy grin on her face and the bounce in her bounce, even in tough times. There have been moments where her openness bothers others, at which point she usually dials it down. The young woman is also pretty carefree. There is very little she worries over or stresses about. For her everything, well almost everything, is as it should be however there are times when she does freak out from anxiety. Not only is she a ball of energy waiting to bounce off the walls, she is also very impatient. There is nothing more in this world that she hates, besides the dentist, than waiting for something. If she asks a question she expects an answer within the next few seconds or if you borrow something of hers, she doesn't want to have to wait or continuously pester you to give it back.

For the most part she stays pretty optimistic. Sometimes she's a bit too optimistic but she does her best to not step on peoples toes. Even with all her optimism Amargo isn't the type of happy go lucky girl that just oozes out rainbows and butterflies. While she is generally happy for most of the day, she doesn't make it so obvious. It often comes about when she gets excited over something. Sometimes it's over the littlest things while other times it for the bigger, more important stuff.
Likes:
Sweets||Free time||Playing games||
Dislikes:
Having to wait||Spicy foods||Crapped spaces||
Flaws:
Stubborn||Careless||Impatient||
Talents:
Athletic||Courageous||Resilient
Fears:
Being burned alive||Being Paralyzed||Nuts||Claustrophobic

Bio:
The young woman grew up in a very lively household. There wasn't a single day they weren't doing something, whether it be hiking through the woods in their vast backyard or just following their hectic schedule for the day. Often times Amargo felt left out, being the second youngest of five and she was the only girl in the household besides her mother. While she did stick out amongst her family due to her ability to see demons, even though her own demon had appeared to her until she was 13. Of course things took a turn for the worst when Amargo finally showed signs of being a Magni of air. The way this went about was she sneezed, very, very loudly and with such force she threw herself back a couple feet. Those who witnessed the act gawked at the young girl for they had never seen someone sneeze with such a force they were thrown back by it. Amargo simply laughed it off to lessen the crowds stares but she was quick to get back home. When she confronted her parents they immediately tried to figure out what was wrong with their kid since neither Amargo or her parents knew why that had happened. So to the doctors they went and luckily this particular doctor understood what had occurred. Amargo also knew he was like her because his demon was lazily draped over his shoulder. The large feline like creature opened it glassy eyes and grinned at her. The doctor explained to her parents what Amargo was, telling them that her family may have been Magni or she was just the oddball who acquired these particular traits. Her parents were one of the few who accepted that their daughter was fundamentally different from them but it took them a while to get used to the idea. Shortly after the doctor informed them of a school for those like Amargo and they were quick to send her off. Not to get rid of her but because they knew she was having trouble being with normal kids who didn't understand why she kept being thrown back every time she sneezed.

Other: N/A

Bavol

Image

Age:
About the same age as Amargo
Gender:
Male
Element/Type of Magic:
Like his Magni, Bavol's base element is air and nothing but air. Unlike his Magni however he is skilled in that his few techniques are polished and are consistent in strength. His very body is built for his element. Bavol utilizes the wind to move at incredible speeds and send sharp waves of air to cut. He is able to solidify a small area about five feet in diameter but can only create one about ten feet from his person.
Appearance:
Bavol is quite the frightful creature. Not to say that he is hideous but his appearance certainly causes some to be taken aback by it. He is a bit bigger than most demons, almost surpassing Amargo's shoulder. The demon rarely makes an appearance due to his thin yet long frame; he often gets in peoples way.

Personality:
Not quite the energetic bundle of aloofness that is his Magni, Bavol is quiet and calm. He prefers to think things through before deciding anything. Although he dislikes his Magni's behaviour at times, Bavol cares deeply about her wellbeing. He knows that she can easily get into trouble when left alone so he makes it his mission to be her jiminy cricket. In comparison to his Magni, Bavol is like an old man.
Likes:
Open ground||Peace and quiet||Order||Hugs
Dislikes:
Chaos||Loud and rude people||Being Confined
Flaws:
Physically weak||Difficult to interact with (physically)||
Talents:
Quick & Nimble||Clever||Patient
Fears:
Claustrophobic||Being Broken||Inability to move

Bio:
Bavol, like all demons, has been with Amargo since she was born. It wasn't until she was almost thirteen that he finally showed himself to her. He was aware that his looks often frightened people at first glance so he was surprised by the fact that Amargo accepted him so easily into her life.

Other:
The young demon actually has trouble interacting with the physical world. His body is almost borderline fragile, similar to a glass figurine albeit a bit tougher. That and his spindly body has trouble moving in small spaces like full classrooms or buses.

So begins...

Amargo Moore

Yet again another day stuck in class. The young woman wanted nothing more than to have the class finish already. While Amargo did enjoy being here and spending time with people like her, the classes never changed. When she had first arrived at the Academy she had hoped the classes would be a lot more interesting but they were just the same as they were before, normal people or not. There wasn’t a whole lot that went on in the Academy that was even remotely interesting. If anything there would be the occasional accident where a student lost control of their abilities, but the staff was quick to get it under control before anything happened.

At the current moment Amago was sitting in class. The entire room was eerily silent but for good reason. They were all told to read their textbooks in silence. All of this was in preparation for the quiz that they may or may not be taking the next day. Every now and then dark grey eyes would glance over at the clock, counting the remaining minutes until the class would end. At this point it didn’t even seem like it ever would. The young magni looked at the clock for what felt like the twentieth time and saw that they still had about half an hour left. It was then that Amargo’s knee began to bounce up and down and from the looks of it the teacher had taken notice. The teacher glared at her as if telling her to stop and all she could do was hide behind her textbook and try to keep her leg from bouncing. She was just so bored with this class.

Thankfully it was the last class before things were to get interesting. As she sat there Amargo began to imagine what it would be like to take a combat class. It was definitely a class that the normal people didn’t offer, so hopefully it’d be a lot more interesting than taking such mundane classes like English. Maybe they would have duels and stuff, sort of like a magic tournament. With that thought in mind, the idea of hosting a magic tournament didn’t sound all too bad but considering how stiff the school was, Amargo doubted they would allow. ‘On the other hand I can try out that new trick I’ve been working on.’ Thinking about it caused a goofy smile to spread across her face. She wondered just how many people she get with it. There was already a small slew of students and even staff that had fallen prey to the invisible wall. They were all so confused by it and they would even pat the air trying to find the source. Finally a small giggle escaped her lips and she stiffened. Peeking over the top of her textbook the teacher was glaring at her again but this time she was approaching her desk.

Suddenly the bell rang and without a moment’s hesitation Amargo jumped out of her seat and dashed for the door. Bursting into the already filled hallways, the air magni couldn’t help but laugh aloud. “Oh that was fun.” Amargo was one of the Academy’s lesser known pranksters since she only did it a small scale, unlike a certain pair of twins that went above and beyond. Still giggling she made sure all of her things were in her bag. It would be pretty troublesome if she had forgotten something in the classroom and thankfully she didn’t. Most students were already well on their way to their next destination but Amargo didn’t feel the need to rush. It would undoubtedly increase her excitement if she prolonged the fun. For good five or ten minutes, Amargo wondered the halls, skipping about and making sure not to get caught.

Along the way she played her invisible wall trick on a couple people and each of their reactions were priceless. It was all she could do to keep from bursting out laughing and giving herself away. Do you even plan on going Amargo? Stopping her next trick, Amargo glanced to her left. “Well of course I’m going. It’s by far the most interesting class that I’ll be taking. I wouldn’t want to miss out on all the fun.” It was hard enough making herself go every day to the same old boring classes. At least this way there would be something worth waiting for at the end of the day.

Bavol then materialized beside her although you could just barely make him out. Well if you say so. Just know that they might not let you participate if you’re late. Amargo pondered this statement for a while. Her demon was right but he was also the kind of demon that needed order. Eventually Amargo came to the realization that postponing the fun might just ruin her chances to even enjoy it in the end. “Aw man you’re right.” Amargo frowned at Bavol just as he dematerialized. Adjusting the straps of her backpack, Amargo was well on her way to the classroom. Hopefully she wouldn’t be late.

Solange Kagari

After having rushed back to their room Solange and Yani settled up to get clean and ready for the only class they were really excited for. After working all day in the school's garden they had quite a bit of cleaning up to do starting with a long shower to get all the dirt and such washed away. After putting on her uniform and making sure her hair looked good enough to go out it was time to head to class. On the way out Yani tucked herself into her standard hiding place in Solange's hair hidden from sight other than the flower she carries accenting Solange's hair.

Leaving their room Solange began skipping down the hallway a white lily given to her by her mother twirling in her hands as she went. It took a few minutes to make it to the class building and even a few more to make it to the hallway where she could find the classroom. As she was skipping towards the classroom she saw her first person of the day. A boy? Yup another look confirmed that he was indeed a boy with a Demon on his shoulder! Skidding to a stop in front of him. "Hi Hi! You look a little lost! Well don't worry I almost know exactly where I'm going!" She smiled brightly down at the boy her eyes flicking toward his demon, but she didn't want to just ask she'd never met another mage before so she didn't know if she could just ask or even look at another person's demon.

"It's nice to meet you I'm Solange! You're actually the first person I've talked to here I kinda spent all day in the school's garden it's almost all ready too! Oh umm I have this flower I think it matches your hair perfectly! If you don't mind I-I'd like you to have it." She smiled brightly holding the flower out to him feeling Yani twitch slightly in her hair.
