Background: Born and raised in Moscow, Russia, Nikolai was a slums child who never knew his parents. He had resorted to thievery in order to be able to feed himself and his small 'Family' of people like him, and was often caught and beaten. When he reached the appropriate age, he joined the military, and showed much prowess in both combat, and leadership, and was recognized by those higher up and was placed into the Spetsnaz. He was with them for several years, until he requested retirement after a friend had died in combat, and so he moved on. It was in France, many years later, that he met the woman who he loved, and whom he had a child with only two years later. She died, however, in a tragic fire only five years after young Alexander was born, while the two were out playing in the park. Further speculation on the matter was never made. It was after this tragedy, that Nikolai blamed god, and because of it, truly felt that there was a god out there. However, he is of no particular religion, and is agnostic (A person who believes in god, but doesn't know which religion). He currently travels around the world, hoping to help those confused about religion. He is currently on his way back to France to see his son again, who is currently in the care of an old friend of his.
