Miss Rine stands at about 5'4", her posture typically straight, yet relaxed. She has straight, dark brown hair that just about reaches her hips, sky blue eyes, and an overall fair complexion. Her figure is moderately ample, with long limbs made slim from regular exercise. For the most part, she looks like a simple, average, and healthy girl. Outside, she is usually seen in either her school uniform or a red dress with a black long sleeve shirt underneath, among other casual outfits. At home, she prefers looser, more comfortable attire.
Likes: Literature/Poetry, baking, gardening, studying, and doing track sports in P.E.
Dislikes: Lazy classmates, pessimists, insincere people, and people calling her Ruby.
History/background: From a young age, Rubedo understood that her father was pursuing something important. Her mother had left under mysterious circumstances when she was a toddler and, since then, her father had taken full custody of her and had her live in his villa with him. The two never interacted as much as most families do, but both were content. Dr. Rine continued his research in peace while Rubedo learned her first lessons in self sufficient, independent living. After entering school, she truly began to excel. She learned quickly and was always eager to learn more. When she entered middle school, Dr. Rine began to teach her basic alchemy so that, one day, she may succeed him. To appease her father, Rubedo would sit through every alchemy talk or lesson, but she hardly retained much. She had learned about the stone early on, but dismissed it as a pipe dream, and she was glad it was not real. When her father died, she felt a little sad, but quickly got over it. She began to practice her alchemy less and less until she barely did any at all. It's not as if she didn't love her father, it's just that she felt she had more important things to focus on. Whenever peers said they were sorry for her loss or asked if she was okay, she'd nonchalantly reply, "I'll live."
In school, she performs very well in most subjects, but particularly literature, chemistry, and mathematics. Her athleticism in P.E. has also got members of the track and field team sometimes asking her to join up. She always refuses, claiming to "not be a team player". True to her words, Rubedo does not usually take to working with others.
Personality: Generally, Rubdeo exudes a calm, collected confidence. She is actually a very serene person and seems very comfortable with herself. While she prefers to act as a loner, she is still very much able to socially connect with others when she needs to. She prefers to be left by herself with her hobbies surrounding her, nothing more, nothing less. When tested or put in a high pressure situation, Rubedo reveals her firey temper.A bit of a perfectionist and a caring person by nature, she often has the tendency to become the "team mom" of a situation. This may come across as bossy, but she has the best intentions, usually.
Alchemy (For Alchemist characters): Due to having studied from a young age, Rubedo has a generally solid grounding in the basic foundations of alchemy. However, due to her inexperience and unwillingness to explore it further, her alchemy skills remain at an elementary level. She can perform basic transmutations on materials that are similar to one another, able to make them into some easy shapes such as cubes or spheres. In her home, she is able to freely manipulate the materials that make the house. Meaning, she could raise shields or barriers from the floor, walls,or ceiling. Due to her father having made the home itself easy for transmutation, such ability is restrained to the grounds of the villa. Rubedo still has much to learn, if she so decides to learn.
