Maid Universe

Alice had been ensnared in the sheets when Momo had pushed her out of the way, so her normally impressive powers of mobility were significantly reduced, to put it mildly. Still, she couldn't just lie there and possibly let Momo get eaten by raptors, and who knew the state of the rest of the house. So Alice twisted and turned herself, until she managed to pull herself into a kneeling position, from which she launched herself toward the door. After repeating this process a few times, the small maid made it out of the room and into the hallway. It was then that she heard the Head Maid's scream, followed by Blaze's reply. Well, at least the android was alright.

From there, the demoness simply rolled her way through the halls, a task made easier by how thoroughly she'd cleaned the floors this morning, towards the sound of the cry for help. Before she arrived at the scene however, several loud booming noises rang throughout the manor, seeming to be making their way to Momo's location as well. For reasons too obvious, or perhaps just too embarrassing, to mention, they reached her far before Alice did. Alice made a note to request her uniform be repaired with more durable materials next time, so that she could hopefully avoid this becoming something of a running joke. And also by someone who wasn't prone to playing with yarn. Honestly, what had she been thinking asking the one person in the mansion that was obviously part cat?

“MASTER!!! SHINACHI!! ALICE!! RILEY!! ANYBODY!!!”

Just as she had almost reached Momo, and presumably the source of the crashing, which she now assumed to have been Blaze, when yet another call for assistance rang out. Thankfully, this one was from about the same place as the last. "I'm on my way!" Alice called out as she rounded the corner. On the other side was the aforementioned android, being mobbed by a group of raptors. Seeing as they were currently rather occupied, Alice decided to preform a surprise attack. Unfortunately, under the circumstances, this basically consisted of rolling up to the nearest raptor, and repeatedly rolling into its leg.

After a few instances of this, the raptor, most likely a Utahraptor based on its height, got annoyed and lashed out with the claw on its foot to eliminate the pest. It would seem that luck was very much on Alice's side at the moment however, and instead of tearing through the stomach as it had been designed to do, the claw buried itself in the sheets Alice was cocooned within, and refused to be withdrawn. Naturally, the dinosaur flailed about in an attempt to dislodge the now attached succubus, its efforts growing wilder as they failed to have the intended effect.

The random swinging Alice about may not have had the intended effect, but it most certainly did have an effect. As she flew through the air, Alice was slammed into several of the other raptors present, some with enough force to render them unconscious. In short, the Utahraptor was unintentionally incapacitating its allies, using the girl on its claw to induce blunt-force trauma. After a few moments of this, the only raptor standing within eyesight was the one that Alice was attached to, that then promptly collapsed from exhaustion in a vaguely comical fashion. Ironically, Alice probably wouldn't have been able to take on one raptor normally. Amazingly enough, the sheets had also managed to prevent her from taking much injury. Luck was funny like that sometimes, though her species probably played a part in that last bit. "I meant to do that." fibbed the maid still wrapped in a bundle attached to a dino's foot, as she looked over at Blaze. "On an unrelated note, can you please help me? I'm stuck to his toe."

After knocking away some more raptors that were ganging up on her, a big roll of blankets speeded into one of the raptors and repeatedly rolled into its leg. Blaze was eager to see what was going on so she grabbed one of the raptors and flung it towards another to get it out of her view. Upon closer inspection she noticed Alice’s head popped up from the roll of blankets.
Suddenly, the raptor got so upset that it tried to cut Alice’s stomach! Blaze got worried and tried to make her way to Alice but the raptor invasion was too much for her. Luckily, Alice was safe and the claw was just stuck on the sheets. The next thing that happened left Blaze speechless. The dinosaur with Alice and the sheets of destruction stuck on it went crazy flailing them around trying to get rid of them. Instead of doing that, the raptor took out its fellow combatants and fainted afterwards.

”I meant to do that,” said Alice, who was still stuck to the raptor’s foot by the bed sheets. She then turned her head over to Blaze and asked, “Oh, and unrelated note, can you please help me? I’m stuck to his toe.”

Blaze was still in shock from what was happening that she was still in a daze, though after a few seconds she shook her head and replied, “Oh..Oh yeah right! Sure right away Alice!”

Alice being stuck on the raptor’s toe by the blankets made Blaze think that ripping the blankets apart was a good thing. At first, Blaze was proud of her muscles being able to rip the think blankets apart, but after Alice was free from the blankets, Blaze realized why the blankets were there in the first place. If she was not an android, or at least if she had the capability to do so, she would’ve turned a bright red from embarrassment, but alas she wasn’t and all she could do was just stand there for awhile until she thought of an idea.

”Ah um, sorry about that…Let me take care of it…” Blaze said while taking some of the rags of the blanket and tying them around Alice to cover her. Afterwards she sort of looked like someone from the jungle with raggedy clothing as poor coverings but acceptable. Blaze couldn’t help but try to press the false clothes to get rid of the wrinkles or wipe off any dust and dirt that may have collected during Alice’s rolling barrage. Trying to shake off the awkward moment, Blaze suggested, “Ah we better check to make sure Head Maid Momo is okay! Off to Momo! You coming?”

Momo noticed as the terrifying raptors suddenly ganged upon another one of the maids who came to save her. It appeared at first to be a successful battle but there were just too many swarming the poor girl. The neko couldn't help but grip her boomerang knowing she had to do something quickly. She came to save her and she wasn't going to let this maid and friend take a beating for her.

“MASTER!!! SHINACHI!! ALICE!! RILEY!! ANYBODY!!!”

Momo's eye's widened to this. It was definitely time to act if she would save Blaze and although the thought continued she heard Alice coming quickly as the little one is always determined to be a hero. However... a sad sight was seen. The poor young girl rolled against the nearest raptors leg as if it were going to be defeated this only made the raptor react and try to kill the poor girl. Momo's eyes widened in worry yet the raptor seemed to be having quite a hard time with what he was attempting to do. The thing just began going beserk with it's wild screetching. She watched as Alice did a clever tactic which at the same time got her stuck. It was then when she noticed she was two seconds from having her own problems as she heard a screetch in her ear. Momo turned to see a raptor coming towards her. Immediately she jumped in fear throwing her boomerang hitting the raptor out of the house making a crater as the raptor collided against it. Momo sighed only to hear the tiny made claim herself to be stuck. She looked over and noticed the tiny Maid wrapped around the dinosaur's foot. The sigh and smile only lasted until Blaze ripped the rags off her completely which made her go a little red until yet again another raptor came at her from the window made Momo do her natural trait of screaming. This only lasted until she once again used her amazing adrenaline that gives her strength in her boomerang for some reason instead of throwing it she just hit the monster with her eyes closed throwing it towards the wall where the other raptor was stuck in a crator which then broke through the wall hearing a loud crash and explosion.

The head maid's eyes opened and looked around her wondering where the raptor went and then nodded.

“Yes! Are you two ok..?” Momo said. She didn't notice it herself but her tail was quite fluffed out and poofy from being scared. Never did she really ever see her fur this way though but it didn't matter to her. She just wanted to calm down again!

Alice was rather surprised to find that both Momo and Blaze seemed to have believed her claim about intentionally having defeated the raptors. Feeling a little bad about the debatably deliberate deception, Alice began to say so however, Blaze acted to free her from the cocoon of sheets.

“Oh..Oh yeah right! Sure right away Alice!” With that, the android lifted her to her feet, and tore the blankets in two, along with the remains of her uniform, judging by their reactions. Briefly, Alice wondered why, when there were at least two maids in the mansion that were significantly more clumsy than she, it was she that continued to find herself in situations such as these. Then it occurred to her that what she should really be concerned about right now was covering herself, so that question quickly slipped from her mind.

Thankfully, after a few moments of embarrassment, Blaze came up with the idea to fashion a makeshift nightgown-like clothing out of the rags. "Thanks." With a sheepish smile, the small maid thanked her, before turning red once more at Blaze's attempts to press the clothing. It was unlikely that she'd be able to get the wrinkles completely out, given the way it had been made in the first place, but Alice didn't object, knowing that it was a part of her robotic companion's personality.

After another moment, during which Blaze seemed quite uncomfortable, she finally spoke up. “Ah we better check to make sure Head Maid Momo is okay! Off to Momo! You coming?” Coming back to the task at hand, Alice's eyes lit up once more with determination. "Right behind you!" she eagerly declared, and ran forward... for about two steps, since, as it turned out, the neko was right there, standing next to a hole in the wall. "Well, that was easy."

“Yes! Are you two ok..?” The succubus gave a low bow of apology. "Yes, Ms. Momo. Sorry about your blankets; I seem to have made quite a mess of them." Turning to Blaze, since she had arrived from a different part of the mansion than herself and Momo, and thus might know something about the situation that they didn't, Alice asked "Blaze, are the others alright? Will they be needing our help too?"

Blaze was about to follow Alice when she heard a large crashing noise as though a bus hit the building. Looking towards the direction of the blast, Blaze saw Head Maid Momo standing there with her fluffy and poofy tail that reflected the tension and fear the Head must have felt from her experience. “Wait a minute…” Blaze tried to look at the head maid again discreetly. She realized that her android brain had actually picked up the sight of a tail sticking out from underneath the head maid’s skirt obviously stricken with fear. “Head Maid Momo is Head Maid Neko Momo?” Blaze thought confused. “Oh well, I might as well update the information I have on her at hand right now and ask her later since I must bring her to safety as the Master has instructed.”

Blaze quickly updated her database stored in her memory and changed the head’s full title to “Head Maid Neko Momo” when she came forward and said, “Yes! Are you two ok…?” Alice gave a bow and replied, ”Yes, Ms. Momo. Sorry about your blankets; I seem to have made quite a mess of them.” Immediately Blaze looked down to her feet remembering the awkward moment that had just occurred, but then Alice had asked, “Blaze, are the others alright? Will they be needing our help too?”

Blaze then quickly jolted her head up upon remembering the task that was given to her from the Master. “Oh yes! I almost forgot! I was running through the halls with Shinachi and we met the Master! He said that everyone needed to be secured and that there should be a room that hasn’t been Raptor invaded. We were supposed to do these two things before we dealt with them…” Blaze trailed off her sentence and looked at all the raptor corpses. She realized that they have kind of gone against the Master’s word, but since the people he hired hadn’t arrived at the time, it had to be okay right? ”Ah anyway, he said that supposedly he hired some people to deal with the situation. I was instructed to save Momo and whoever else is missing. We were supposed to go to his panic room if possible. Does anyone know where that is? If that’s not possible, should we try that secret pool room?”

Blaze wasn’t sure what to do at this point. She realized that she had gone off and ran without Shinachi or the Master in pursuit of Momo’s voice. Speaking of Momo, Blaze wondered when had Head Maid Momo been a neko? Did Alice know about this? Alice also apologized about the sheets she was wearing, so Blaze was curious as to what Alice and Momo were doing while she ran off hiding. Blaze pondered and looked down at her clothes realizing that they were filthy from all the thrashing around with the Raptors. With dismay she tried her best to brush off the dirt that was on her while waiting for the next instruction on what to do.

The master knew something was up. Ever since the beginning, he felt that there was a point he was missing, or a clue left out as to how these beasts got into his mansion before he could even be warned. The first few theories was that the numbers were just overwhelming, and that his men outside had been defeated before they could even reached their radios. That, among a few, was the most viable conclusion he could reach at this time. But something very important bugged him.

Why don't they attack him?

Since they destroyed the front door, not a single raptor had bared its fangs towards him. Not one attempted to eat or kill him, and simply passed by him as if he weren't there to begin with. Even now, he couldn't tell why. He didn't have one single thought as to why he wasn't being eaten when they first passed by him, or at any other moment where he came into close proximity to a dinosaur. They, of course, couldn't be smart enough to pick their targets like that, could they? He pondered this in deep thought.

He arrived to the sight of a few familiar faces. Although Momo was the one he was definitely most happy to see (although of course he didn't show it), he was still glad that Blaze and Alice weren't casualties. He gave an exhausted sigh. "Nobody's received any mortal wounds, have they?" he asked, knowing the answer to that. "But you girls look like you've been through hell..." he, on the other hand, wasn't look anywhere near as bad as anyone else. Sure, he had sweated just a bit, but he wasn't dirty from any scuffles from any raptors or the sort at all. To anyone else, it would look like he just came from outside, without ever being in any danger. "Are we forgetting anybody? We need to find a secure location until my men can regroup with us and save our skins."
