Kal is a complex individual, to say the very least. Even though he excelled in pretty much every subject since he started school, he can't seem to find the energy to care. School work is too easy, sports are a bore, and potential 'mates'... Well, he has a bit of a problem about leading them on and being very blunt when cutting ties. He is a very smart boy, and sometimes uses those smarts to others' disadvantages. His new enjoyment is playing tricks or jokes on the student counsel members (Swiping papers, water buckets over door frames, changing pen ink out for soy sauce, etc.) to try to cure his never-ending boredom, though the entertainment he gets from that never lasts long before he has to start up another.
The only thing Kal really has his heart set in is his photography. He will never be seen without his camera dangling from around his neck, and will not hesitate to stop in the middle of a crowd just to take the perfect picture. However, he refuses to join the photography club (Or any other club, for that matter), saying that it restricts his creative ability.
Kal is, in fact, deaf. The way he prefers it. He refers to it as his best quality, not having to listen to all the hussle-n-bussle that everyone else must listen to. The silence helps him think, keep track of all the thousands upon thousands of thoughts he has swimming around inside his head. Kal's memory is absolute perfection, he never forgets anything, and he says that the deafness is the key to it. Without noises clogging up your head 24/7, the world becomes a straight line, just with a bunch of little points to make it's events.
