From: Durnam's from a planet that's got many similarities to Earth (although its technological level is about a hundred or so years ahead), and he's from one of the larger nations there: the Empire of Dawn. He used to live in the capital of the Empire, which is a bustling port metropolis by the name of Greyholm, but he left to explore the world shortly before his disappearance.

Powers/Abilities/Weapons: He's got some pretty mad combat skills, being skilled at using most bladed weapons (and fairly decent at martial arts), but he really doesn't like fighting. If he was forced to fight, expect either the point of a blade, a lightning bolt, or a flying kick in your face before you can say "OH SHIT"

Height: about 6 feet, maybe 6'1" or 6'2".
Weight: about 160 or so lbs.
Hair Color: Jet-black
Eye Color: Changes on occasion. It's been black, green, light blue, hazel, and gray.
Skin Color: The sort of tanned that you'd expect after spending 'bout four years in a desert.
Description: Durnam's is somewhat muscular, enough to move with ample dexterity and fight with sufficient strength. He'll typically be seen wearing a semi-formal outfit, usually a long-sleeved black dress shirt with the top button undone and matching black dress pants. And don't forget that he's got shades. His hair's about medium length, and is somewhat more messy than what it used to be, but it's sometimes under that bitchin' fedora of his.

Inside
Personality Traits: Durnam's generally quite quiet, only talking when really necessary, but that fails to detract from his initiative. He's quite the proactive person, taking any necessary actions at the quickest possible moment. When left to his own devices, though, he can be found just to be sitting around, staring off into space. There's definitely something that troubles him, but Durnam refuses to trouble anyone by letting them know about it.

Likes: Cool stuff.
Dislikes: Fighting, as ironic as that may be. Uncool stuff.
Fears: While he may appear to be the typical fearless commander, Durnam is actually quite afraid of heights and spiders. Especially these large man-eating creatures back from his reality called Scythe Callers. You don't want to mess with those.
Dreams: Follow up on some leads, and to find the answer to a question he was asked oh-so-long ago.

Enemies: Ignis and Umbra, although Durnam knows that picking a fight wouldn't be the best course of action.

Why They Joined: Just following some leads. Those leads aren't going to fill themselves in on their own. He actually got the invitation from a totally trustworthy source, but it's forged. Oh well.
How They Feel: So long as no one picks a fight, Durnam's totally cool with the whole situation.
