âI drift in the breeze. Please, just call me Ash.â
I am the: Rogue
âPack life was fun, but this is where the future is.â
I am age: 19
âIâm at the prime of my youth.â
My mate is: Brian Miller
âYes, Brian. Too bad he will never find out. Nothing personal.â
In human form I look like: Ash has blonde hair and green/hazel eyes. She has a slender frame and stands 5â3â tall. Usually she keeps her hair pulled into a ponytail or loose bun. Anything to keep it out of the way, actually. She always wears a small pendant of amber, never allowing it to leave her possession.
âLike what you see?â
As a wolf I look like:
âI will probably never see this part of myself. But that was MY decision.â
Personality: Ash has the the personally to please a crowd. She is proud and shallow, believing that she can do anything she wants. When in an argument with her, watch out. Even if she is wrong, she will somehow still win the conversation. Ash has no morals on pinning someone else with the blame, being quick to pull it off of herself. She has three moods: playful and fun, manipulative, or really pissed. She has a sarcastic undertone most of the time, not being the âdumb blondeâ most will take her for. Although, she will sometimes play this role when required. Ash will kiss up to anyone she thinks can help her cause, primarily meaning Winter.
âI sound fun, donât I?â
Likes: Making her own decisions, the moon, freedom, having a good time, Winter, the others in her pack (although she gives them a heard time), oranges, tanning, mates, making her own decisions in life.
âOh, did I say âMaking my own decisionsâ twice? Maybe that should tell you something.â
Dislikes: Brian Miller, not getting her wolf, the idea of being forced with your mate, being told what to do, looking like a fool, being pranked.
âI feel bad for Brian, honestly. But not bad enough to go back. Winter will be able to fix this. . . Hopefully.â
Other: Ash began as any normal wolf. Born and raised into a pack, she had a loving family and moved into the pack house when she was 14. She was your typical high school girl. Popular, sporty, well admired. . . But Ash always felt like she was missing something. She was excited by the idea of receiving her wolf, loving the thought of one day finding her prince to carry her away.
At the age of 17, Ash had two revelations. The first was that she needed to make something out of life, that she couldnât waste what time she had left on this earth. This came from the death of Ashâs younger sister, Amber. Amber had been walking home one day from school and was struck by a drunk driver. Needless to say, Ash was mortified by the young life taken so soon. She watched all of her sisterâs aspirations die with Amber and decided that she would live not only for herself, but for Amber also. She would take risks and enjoy what time she had left, letting nothing would hold her back.
Ashâs second revelation came when she discovered that her mate was Brian Miller. Brian was a decent guy, but no one wants do call their guy decent. Ashley had nothing against Brian, but she knew that this could not be it. She could not be bounded to a guy that she thought was decent. She wanted someone amazing. And so, rather than telling Brian and living with her mating chains, Ash left. Like her name, she left the breeze drift her away, having no destination in mind besides her personal freedom.
She abandoned her pack, her mate, her family all for her crazy aspiration of living life to the fullest and making her own decisions. No one could tell her who she was to love, not even her wolf. Ash fully realized that she may never have the experience of a shift, but her freedom was worth it. No one can tie her down, not even her wolf. She traveled alone for awhile, occasionally sending her parents postcards to assure her safety but never revealing her location. She does not want to go back to her pack, her mate ever again.
Eventually Ash stumbled upon Winterâs pack, the Lost Boys, as she first termed them. However, she was quickly drawn in by their philosophies, excited by the thought that the claim to alpha could be more than birth. After all, if that could change, why couldnât the mating process? She believes that Winter will lead them to a new generation of wolves with a better system in place. The sky is the limit, after all. Although the others in her pack may know of her past, no one knows who her mate really is besides Ash. This is how she intends to keep it.
