Personality

Kojima is quite and reserved even with the few friends he has however he will speak his mind if some is wrong or being foolish, he’s not one of life’s jokers. An ex girlfriend even described Synths as having more of a heart than he does. He believes this trait is due to his upbringing however he also believes that the distance gives him a more complete perspective on things which helps in his job.

At work he enjoys the thrill of the chase but his home life is quieter and his interests include Philosophy, Reading classic literature and the study of Jeet Kune Do (incidentally Bruce Lee is his favourite philosopher.)

Equipment

David has a Neural Interface which is a pretty basic model. He uses it mainly for his job where it is invaluable.

He has a selection of Musclesuits he wears under his clothing depending on the day he is planning on having. His suit’s all have strengthen strike points and when activated can provide him with some protection should he get into a fight.

David’s weapon of choice is a Pistol chambered with high calibre rounds. This weapon is standard issue in CTU. In his car he keeps a compact machine pistol in case he needs more firepower.

History

David Kojima was born in Cangwu on Mars in 2080 to parents originally from South East Asia. He was a serious child who often preferred his own company to that of children his own age. His studiousness however paid off and he was admitted to study business at Cangwu University. David however felt that this was the wrong fit for him and instead joined the MSS. His parents were furious and denied they had a son for years, it was only through the efforts of his sister did the family patch things up. When asked why he chose to join the MSS he said the planet had enough business men already.

His career as a patrol man was unremarkable but he was respected as a good officer. However he distinguished himself while working undercover as a Rain dealer which caught the eye of CTU where he was recruited as an agent. Again his father despaired about the decision but by now he knew David was going to forge his own path.

He began receiving Augmentations for his role but always chose the least invasive procedures and has so far rejected the notion of replacing his limbs in favour of combat augments. He says if he’s ever in a situation where he needs them the case is already blown.
At 32 though he’s starting to worry he might be getting to old to hold his own with more augmented Agents and Synths.
