She had to keep her head to the side as he continued blabbing after a moment's pause - something about a threesome. Well, she doubted that her parents would approve, but... Aislyn let out a tiny cough and straightened her face, turning back to face Ken, keeping her eyes wide and calm, as if nothing unusual had happened.
Ken turned and then his eyes lit slightly. He grabbed Aislyn's hand, a motion that made Aislyn's eyes widen. She was about to automatically throw him off when he let go of his own accord, bitting his lip and looking away, as if just realizing what he had done and how it wasn't appropriate. Aislyn started to frown. She couldn't think like that - she'd told herself that she wouldn't discriminate against Ken for that reason anymore. He was - he was her friend. It didn't matter if he wasn't rich, wasn't popular, wasn't suitable -
He was saying something again, a mumble this time, an apology for grabbing her hand and an excuse. She shook her head, murmured, "It's fine," and then tucked a strand of hair behind her ear with the hand that he had grabbed. She could still feel his warmth, his pressure.
She glanced over at Yuuki, and her eyes widened before she quickly turned back to Ken, her heart now racing, though in excitement not nervousness. A small smile was starting to dance across her lips. Yuuki looked phenomenal - like a queen. And either someone very talented had done his makeup, or Yuuki's art extended to more than just the paint on paper kind. If she wasn't so confident of her own looks, she might have been jealous - the red laced with black - truly a brilliant combination -
"I've been practicing my dancing, y'knowā¦" Ken chuckled, the sound almost nervous. The words caught Aislyn's attention and brought her focus back on Ken. He looked plain in comparison, though still handsome in his own, rather unique, awkward way. "After you greet Yuuki, I could make some more artā¦if you'd like toā¦dance? Not that we have to be together this partyā¦wellā¦y'know. I don't want to affect your reputation improperlyā¦not likeā¦a coupleā¦"
"No," Aislyn said. "No, that's fine. I'd love to have a dance with you." She smiled at Ken. "Really. That would be great." She held out her hand. "Come on. Let's go greet Yuuki." She started over to Yuuki, waiting until she was close enough to call lightly, "Yuuki ~" and giving a light wave with her other hand. She stopped in front of Yuuki and smiled at her. "Your dress is beautiful," She told her future husband/wife. "You look amazing."

But wait. There was more.
Aislyn was fine with dancing with him. Ken looked into Aislyn's eyes, and felt a slight difference in how he often viewed her after the incident. He felt those taunting images of Aislyn getting romantic with another person, usually a female, dying down some. But then those same images came to be equally matched, not by a dozen different girl, but the mental picture was painted of Aislyn and Yuuki together. He began to ponder the horrific scene of Yuuki and Aislyn in lingerie, about to make sweet love, and he himself was banging at the front door, before a trapdoor opened, pulled by the girls' themselves and sending the artist spiraling down into a black abyss.
He thought it over, and just had a disheartening feeling that he'd walk out of this little venture empty handed, as usual. Maybe he'd even get fired, just so Yuuki could serve both as main artist and full time lover.
"That just couldn't happen this time," Ken suddenly thought to himself. "I've gone too long with this lonely heart. And now it aches. First rejection, and now, the potential chance I could have had someone to call my ownā¦Even if Yuuki is a man now, he said it himself: He's gonna be a woman sooner or later. And if she really did what she did in the locker room, maybe it's still possible?...
"Heyā¦" Greeted Ken, waving his arm much more weakly, hiding a confused, slightly saddened look in his eyes from Aislyn, but exposing it perfectly for Yuuki. "How's things, Yuuki?"
He chuckled to cover the strange feeling and stepped towards them to meet halfway. "Yuuki,ā her smooth voice made him relax. āYour dress is beautiful. You look amazing." Yuuki nodded and took a step forward to place a light kiss on both sides of her cheek. āThank you for the invitation. Iām already having plenty of fun. Also, your just a beautiful. The star of the show.ā He turned to Ken and let his eyes roam over the man. Just earlier today they had been pressed close and had almost become intimate. Yuuki blinked, eyelashes fluttering.
āHeyā¦ā Greeted Ken, Yuuki analyzed the look in Kenās eyes taken off guard by the depth of emotion."How's things, Yuuki?" The boy didnāt respond for several seconds, mezmerized by the blooming emotion in his own chest before he shook his head and gracefully touched Kenās shoulder, needing some form of contact with the man. āIām doing fine. Better now that I get to see you two.ā Yuuki paused, his lips curving seductively. āYour quite handsome this evening too. Best man here.ā He let his hand return to his side and adjusted his postition so that Aislyn could be included in the conversation too. āSo, who is going to get the first dance?ā
Best man? Aislyn thought. She couldn't help but think wryly, I believe that that would have to be you, Yuuki, but she didn't say it aloud. After all, currently and probably soon, Yuuki would become a girl. Did that change her plans to get together with him? Yes, he was beautiful, and yes, he might have talent but...if he was a girl...he would have no more advantage over any of the other girls that Aislyn sometimes favored with her attention. He would lose that sparkle.
Or would he? After all, he was incredibly beautiful. Maybe -
āSo, who is going to get the first dance?ā
The question brought Aislyn back to what was going on at the moment. She looked at Yuuki and Ken, Yuuki having angled so that she could see them both easily again - normally, she started the dancing with a waltz of her own, together with a favored partner of either gender. She glanced at Ken - people would talk if she had the first dance with him, and she had hoped to have it with Yuuki, but...
"I promised Ken a dance," Aislyn said lightly. She looked at Ken, giving him a small smile. "Would you like to open the party with me?" She glanced at Yuuki. "If you don't mind waiting that is."

"I promise to dance with you once I'm done with Aislyn." Said Ken. "why don't you go to that room there? It's off limits for the other guests because it holds some of my artwork. I doubt it'll impress you, but maybe you could tell me where I'm weakest when you're done?ā¦"
Ken began to lead Aislyn away, and began moving his hands to hers, his palms slightly slick from nervousness. But he was determined to make sure everyone was impressed with her dancing. It was his boss's party, and she was the star. He was the artist, so he had to make a beautiful work of art. But his tool wasn't a brush, or a pen, it'd be himself, and Lady De Leroy herself: this art of dancing, he'd wanted to do long before, preferably on a date. One which never came aboutā¦
"Aislyn?ā¦" Began Ken. "I can tell Yuuki really does like you. Do you think I'll ever find someone like that? Things have been very unlikelyā¦I mean, not just counting your desire to stay professional, I respect thatā¦"
Ken began to speak. "Aislyn?..." Aislyn lifted her head to look at him. He was just a bit taller than her in her heels, and her lashes framed her eyes perfectly. "I can tell Yuuki really does like you." Aislyn's eyes widened. She had been thinking the exact opposite and she almost opened her mouth to tell Ken so, when he continued on his train of thought, "Do you think I'll ever find someone like that? Things have been very unlikelyā¦I mean, not just counting your desire to stay professional, I respect thatā¦"
The first thing that came to mind after the Yuuki thing was pity - deep pity and affection and a sense of regret in the bottom of her heart. Ken said that it wasn't her fault, but still - she felt guilty. At the time, she had gotten a warm, fuzzy feeling whenever Ken worked for her, whenever he was around in general. It was the type of feeling that should have made her say 'yes' when he'd asked but unfortunately, she hadn't done any such thing. It'd made the feeling colder, more bitter, and dragged it out to a point where it was almost painful to think about it.
"You shouldn't," She said quietly, lowering her eyelashes. "I'm sorry. I - lied. I -"
Before she could continue, a beam of light hit them and she looked up. A spotlight was being shone on them, while everything else dimmed to a soft glow - another first dance tradition, one that she normally enjoyed, but one that made her cheeks flush red now.
She couldn't stop though. "I just...I didn't want - we are so different, Ken. I think you're an amazing person, but - my reputation -" She shook her head and then said, much more firmly. "You will find someone to love and who will love you. And she will be perfect and beautiful and - amazing."
She brushed her hand through her hair and lowered her gaze to the polished floor in a gesture of anxiety before the girl straightened and waved a waiter over, refocusing her thoughts on the main problem. Maybe it wasn't that she truly had feelings for either one of them, maybe it was just because she was changing into a woman so quickly. So much faster than she had expected, when just this morning she had checked herself in the mirror and seen her masculine features melting away and being replaced by seductive plump lips, slender hands, a bosom, and of course her hard abdomen turning soft and curved like a woman's. A child-bearing body instead of the hard masculine strength that came with being a man.
Yuuki reached for the wine glass filled with a non-alcoholic drink and took a sip. Her sense of life was changing. Things were becoming covered in emotion and were no longer just objects with a practical use. She heard someone call to her and she turned to view the young woman who had a jolly smile with a voracious laugh. "Darling! You simply look magnificent. I wish I had your figure." Yuuki giggled and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "My, my. Your quite the beauty too." The woman's hand came forward and brushed over Yuuki's cheek, resting for a moment before untucking the strand she had just bothered to put away. "Not as much as you are. Your so indescribable." A light blush spread before she lightly pushed away the woman's hand. "Thank you." The woman gave a hearty chortle. "Don't worry. I'm Saline. Just a secretary. I wanted to scout you but I see I'm coming on to strong. Later, perhaps?" Yuuki nodded politely. "Yes, that would be fine." Saline stepped away and Yuuki turned to approach the dance floor, feeling mischievous.
He stepped up to where the crowd circled Aislyn and Ken. A certain boldness burned in his mind and he knew exactly what he was going to do. A three person dance would certainly cheer up the mood and take away the sense of romanticism. It made her slightly jealous that they seemed to be so intimate without her. She quickly paced over to the band and whispered in a festive song before striding straight onto the dance floor, with her head held high and an arrogant smile played on her glossed lips. She bowed when she reached the couple and held out both hands. "Shall we do a three person dance and make this ball, a real party?" The music gave an abrupt change, sounding almost like the salsa. "Shall we?"

"It could never be youā¦" He thought to himself. With a long sigh, he tried to keep up a smile for Aislyn, wishing not to ruin her mood. Again she apologized, and he could only nod when she said it. And in nearly perfect timing, Yuuki had came in and solved their problems of separate dancing, and proposed the insane idea of a 3 person dance: the techniques for which he'd have to make up, and he hoped it would be as easy as managing to make up moves for a one on one dance, like he did with Miss De Leroy, impressing the guests with what most of them thought was some exotic form of movement he'd been taught on his boss's behalf.
"Ohā¦Sure, Yuuki." He replied. "Here, let me justā¦"
Ken was about to adjust himself and the girls for some dance floor action, when he foolishly tripped. He was about to keep his footing when he tried to grab Aislyn, but accidentally cupped her breast, quickly letting go, and falling onto Yuuki, his body on top of hers, chest to chest, groin against groin. Ken's much larger, but near regular size member felt a smaller bulge in Yuuki's dress as he pressed down unintentionally, a small bit of friction being created. His hands cupped another pair of breasts, the developing pair belonging to Lady Hoshizimi, as he pushed off immediately, climbing to his feet, before crouching back down to pick up Yuuki, and back out of the threesome of dancers.
"Ahā¦" He began, the shades of red coming onto his cheeks. "ā¦I'll leave you two to your danceā¦I think I've gotten too closeā¦" He stated, heading off, presumably to hide out for a bit, and probably to leave. He thought of Yuuki's 'developments.' If Yuuki and Aislyn were to be together, likely married with how incredible Yuuki had proven to be in such a short time, the De Leroy family would have their reservations: Aislyn's family always did mention that need for direct blood childrenā¦Could that separate them, if Yuuki couldn't do that job? Then again, Ken had once picked up a magazine out of a stack, regarding an Article on Yuuki's condition: Once the transformation was complete, and things were stable, there was a chance that a strong combination of drugs over time, or perhaps a more instant surgery could set him back to manhood, or anywhere in between.
"The options are endlessā¦" He mumbled to himself, snatching a glass. "How does this all play out? Boss gets a guy/girl, I get to wait forever again for a passing glance, maybe even lessā¦"
Before she could think of something to make the situation less awkward - if that were possible - Yuuki stepped between them and held out his hands flirtatiously. "Shall we do a three person dance and make this ball, a real party?"
Aislyn blinked at her in surprise and then laughed, turning her head and catching the eye of one of the musicians. She tilted her head, and he nodded, getting the message. The music instantly changed, some of the players putting their instruments down as others picked up the new beat and started playing. She turned her head back in time to hear Yuuki's second "Shall we?" and had already wrapped her hand in his when Ken, moving back to make more room, tripped.
He waved his arm frantically and grabbed out for support, his hand closing briefly around Aislyn's breast. He let go immediately as if the touch had burnt him, and the motion unbalanced him so much that he twisted and fell on top of Yuuki.
A mix of feelings were running through Aislyn - shock at being touched, even though she knew that it wasn't Ken's fault, embarrassment at being caught in such a situation with the eyes of almost everyone at the party watching them, and - jealousy. Was that it? No, that was impossible. She couldn't be jealous -
Ken pushed himself up and started to back away, mumbling something about leaving them to dance by themselves. He was blushing red, something that Aislyn found sweet and cute, but the embarrassment of the moment was so fresh that Aislyn couldn't bring herself to look at him.
Instead, she looked to the side until he had safely disappeared and then graciously knelt next to Yuuki. "Are you alright?" She asked, trying to appear calm by fixing a few strands of her hair and smoothing out her dress. She wasn't quite sure how successful she was, but she kept at it. Aislyn held out a hand to Yuuki in order to help her back to her feet. "Would you - like to take a break?" She tilted her head to the side and did her best to look as flirty as possible, even as her heart stopped pounding. "Or would you prefer a nice, relaxing -" She emphasized the word with a wry smile given the music that was going on and the people pouring onto the dance floor now that the first dance was technically over. "- dance?"
He gasped in air, shock buzzing through his mind as his skin heated at the touch of the other male. The feeling aroused his senses and stroked them, making him want to let out a sensuous sound but he restrained himself and laid still. The movements that jostled his body seemed electrified and intense. Nevertheless, soon enough Yuuki felt the weight lift as Ken maneuvered to get up. The she-male refocused his dazed attention on the bashful face of his friend. "Ahā¦" Ken began whilst the shades of red dashed his cheeks. "ā¦I'll leave you two to your danceā¦I think I've gotten too closeā¦" He stated, heading off. Yuuki who was still shell shocked suddenly felt his emotions flood in all at once, causing a bright red blush to spread across his cheeks. She touched the palm of her hand to her chest in amazement. "Yeah. Iām fine." She lowered her gaze to the glossed floor before organizing herself accordingly, and taking up Aislyn's hand to help her up lightly answering her questions once up.
She brushed her dress off and took a look around at the skeptical crowd, raising her head and straightening her shoulders with pride. It was the only thing to do after all. "Would you - like to take a break?" Yuuki glanced to Aislyn but her interest was elsewhere. Ken had yet again shown how well their bodies mixed together and how great the benefit would be from choosing him. Aislyn's voiced startled Yuuki further from her thought process."Or would you prefer a nice, relaxing -" The wry smile on Aislynās face enhanced the provocative tone that finally reached her ears. "- dance?"
"I love the sound of both, but I did ask a dance from you. So how about we dance first, play later?" His sly grin was sensual at best and he stepped forward, smoothly moving his hand around her waist and pulling her closer. "Be ready, my dear." A radiant challenge thrown in was the start of his slow dance. It would have appeared like the tango or an exotic dance but much slower and much more seductive. It also was restrained within the confines of how well he could move in the dress while keeping the sense of his elegance. In his expression was a deep passion, one that stood for his affection of her and yet of his desire. It smoldered in his eyes and spread out in a warmth to the rest of his face and then to the curve of his lips.
