âSheâs a rebel. Sheâs a saint. Sheâs the salt of the earth, and sheâs dangerous.â
Full name: Valkyrie Everett
Age: 16, though she appears more in the 18-20 area due to the rapid growth of vampire children.
Gender: Female
Face Claim: Pixie Poisonn
Appearance: Valkyrie is somewhat tall for her age, with ever so slight curves to her slim build. Her hair is naturally black and falls down to her shoulder blades in razor cut layers. Sheâll sometimes tease her hair, not to the outright puff-ball level of Dashurieâs hair, but just enough to give it a little bit of volume. Her skin is pale - half due to the genetics of her vampire father and half to the fact that she hates being out in the sunlightâŠFor which she has many reasons. Her eyes, which are almost always framed with thick, smoky black eyeshadow and eyeliner, are a deep, vibrant blue, but will appear lighter and more silvery when hungry - another thing to thank her father for. She has a snakebite piercing on her lower lip, a stud in her left nostril and multiple piercings in both of her ears. She has three tattoos: a small black and white star on her left wrist, two downward-pointing guns on her hips and the symbol of Dunstanâs gang - a black tribal-style dragon - on her right forearm. If you ask her about all of these tattoos, (with the exception of the gang symbol) sheâll tell you they were âthe rebellious attempts of a stupid little girlâ but yet, she refuses to have them removed, which may lead some people to believe there are actual meanings behind themâŠ
She has a fondness for dark clothing and every outfit is accompanied by a well-worn cropped leather jacket, as well as either a pair of black converse or Doc Marten boots. She rarely accessorizes, unless itâs in the form of leather wrist cuffs or darkly-coloured sweatbands.

âIâm miss autonomy. Miss nowhere. Iâm at the bottom of me.â
Personality: At first glance, Valkyrie may appear to be just your stereotypical âangstyâ teenage girl, but thereâs a fine line between angst and natural hostility. Sheâs the kind of person to avoid any kind of social interaction and if faced with large crowds of people, sheâs likely to blend into the background and just keep to herself. If someone does actually strike up a conversation with her, sheâll answer with the least amount of words possible, if a simple nod, shake or shrug arenât appropriate. This is all simply because she doesnât trust people, which is due to the fact that her parents were never the most reliable of people. Her mother slept around a lot, even when she was engaged, and because of that, her father turned out to be a one-night fling that her mother never heard from again. It takes a lot for Valkyrie to be able to trust someone, and even more for her to actually hold any kind of affection for them. Sheâs a very guarded girl, and she would endure just about anything before she ever appeared weak or vulnerable. She will never allow herself to cry in front of anybody - not that itâs easy to make her cry by any means, sheâll become enraged much sooner than sheâll become upset - but she sees crying as the ultimate form of weakness and to this day, not one person has ever seen so much of a tear leave her eye. She isnât an easy person to break, and sheâs much more likely to stand up for herself and fight back than to back down and take whatever comes her way silentlyâŠWhich just might be her fatal flaw. Her rage will sometimes exceed her physical limitations and, though itâs rare, will land her into trouble with people much stronger than her.
She is a huge believer in honesty. One of her pet peeves is fake, two-faced people and backstabbers. Sheâll be frank with you about her opinions, no matter how harsh they may be, so she expects people to be decent enough to do the same with her. This has a lot to do with why she dislikes sunlight. Itâs not a vampire thing, because - contrary to popular belief - sunlight doesnât affect vampires at all. No, Valkyrie would much rather be outdoors in the rainâŠNot just because itâs more visually appealing to her, or because she hates the heat and the humidity that accompanies sun (though, those are factors). Itâs a more complicated reason entirelyâŠValkyrie believes that sun shows the world in a âfalse lightâ. Everything appears bright and pretty in sunlight, but there are the shaded areas where the sun doesnât reach - the true dark nature of the world that the sun doesnât show. Rain shows the world for what it really is.
Likes:
-Rock music. Especially if the bands have strong frontwomen. Her two personal favourites are The Runaways and The Pretty Reckless.
-Leather
-Motor vehicles. More specifically, motor bikes. She has an avid interest in cars as well, but a fantasy sheâs clinged to since her late childhood was owning a motorcycle.
-Piercings
-Tattoos (When they have meaning or are used as works of art and not just random tattoos for the sake of looking âbadassâ.)
-Reading
-Solitude. Sheâs most comfortable when sheâs left on her own and to her own devices.
-Rain
-Cigarettes. She knows itâs a filthy habit, and a turn-off for most men, but it takes her stress levels down, and anything that does that is fine in Valkyrieâs books.
-An attractive man. Sheâs still a teenagerâŠand there is absolutely no harm in looking, according to her.
Dislikes:
-Pop music. To Valkyrie, itâs âshallow, commercial shit.â
-Ignorance/Prejudice. If you act like a decent human being to her, sheâll do the same for you, regardless of race, religion, appearance, sexual orientation etcâŠ
-Backstabbing
-People who pretend to be something theyâre not
-Being tormented/mocked. Nothing agitates her more
-People who cheat/sleep around. This stems from her mother and how she never knew who her father wasâŠAnd the fact that Valkyrie had been neglected most of the time growing up because she was always out with a stranger sheâd probably never see again.
-Sun
-Meaningless tattoos
âFight or be taken out alive.â
