Northern Mountains

The cavern deep within the mountains depths, forged from eroded stone and formed ice stood strong housing a fearsome beast. This fortress of blizzard hell was echoing the sound of a creature’s foul stench and heavy breath; this was the animal’s home. Inside this lair, lived a monster of sorts a native monster, mostly described as a wyvern. A dragon with two legs, a pair of wings and its head, each varying greatly from other wyvern, each deadly in its own way. This one called a Khezu crawled its way along the roof of the cavern, lowering its head down. The Khezu's head had no eyes, it was a blind but his neck stretched like rubber his whole body was pale white, like a transparent cell membrane covering its body. Opening its mouth like a worm, an ever expanding tube giving an ear shattering roar listening to sounds. Soon dropping to the floor, its wings helping to stop its fall. Sensing a hunter close by it was lead by its other senses, its muscles showing through its skin looking for food, which as of now was a hunter.

Ulrich heaved his huge axe from his back, hearing a gnarly roar followed by a sickening thud just through the next opening in the cave. He had been tracking a particularly large Khezu for the past 6 hours, and as he passed through the small opening into the next cavern he realized he had found it. As the beast sat on the floor he stood still for a moment and thought, the monster was blind so tried stepping lightly and carefully to the rear.

Just as Ulrich got within reach of the beast, it turned to greet him with another roar. "Damn!!!" As the Khezu reared his head for the first attack, Ulrich had already drawn back his weapon and slammed it into its ugly face, spattering the icy cavern floor with warm black blood. As the beast charged again, Ulrich steadied himself, knowing this battle wasn't going to be won easily.

The khezu had felt a presence upon feeling this strange abnormality, after its cry it felt nothing but a harsh strike upon its head! The Khezu lowered his stretched neck to below his body, feeling his blood spilled upon the cavern floor, in an instant the beast was crouching against the floor. With a mighty push lifting its massive body from the floor, having Ulrich in the perfect spot smashing him away. The force at least knocking him back a few yards as the khezu caught itself from rolling over and planting its feet onto the cavern floor.
The monster began to tilt its head, quickly turning and looking around before looking straight ahead to the hunter waited to see if his meal is done moving. Only have his funnel like mouth begin to drool at the thought of a good meal. The creature spread its legs, balancing itself for his prey to bounce back or to continue his attack.
