Positive Traits ||
Thoughtful- Senril does not like to rush into anything if it can be avoided. Whether it be a simple game of go or making important life choices, Senril prefers to simply wait and plan ahead. That's not to say that he will make particulaly good decisions but he still would not want to risk anything by being headstrong.
Calm- Senril finds that much in life happens beyond our or indeed anyones control. He finds there is little to worry about things we cannot change. The coming storm will come no matter how much one would try to fight against it or push it aside, all one could really do is watch and see which way the wind blows.
Carefree- Bad things happen to bad people as much as they happen to good people, it's how we react to these disasters that define us as people. Senril will face any hardship with a shrug, a determined smile and soldier on as though nothing had ever happened. It takes something tremendous to actually shake him from his perch.
Kind- There are enough cruel and evil things in the world by its own merits that people do not need to add to it. And yet though they still do, Senril very much refuses to be one of those people. Instead he prefers greatly to offer simple friendship and kindness to everyone he meets, after all if he had help just one person then he would have made a better place from his being in it.
Negative Traits ||
Lazy- For all his kind nature and willingness to help others they are often eclipsed by his general lack of motivation. It is not uncommon of him to take advantage of his slow and thoughtful nature to take as much time on something as possible or put in as little effort as he can. After all, if a problem will still be there tomorrow its not like it's going to hurt anyone by rushing it.
Inexperienced- A simple man with a simple life, sheltered away in a monastery for the majority of his life did not bring him into contact with a great many people. The few that found their way to their door were poor men and women seeking what aid monks could provide or else those seeking to join their numbers. His experiences with combat are from what little the monks taught each other to fend off attackers if need be, not to deal with large groups of enemies.
Naive- He truly believes the world to be a better place than it actually is, and that all the ills in the world that are caused by the actions of men can simply be healed with the right guiding hand. Though it does mean he is willing to give second or even third chances without a single concern it also means that at times he sees good in people that simply is not there.
Hesitant- Senrils life is one of calm and peacful meditation or else helping people in need. He is not a natural born leader and quickly falls apart when having to make any kind of important decisions on the fly. Similarly he is mostly unwilling to use violance as anything other than self defence and even then he only uses it as a last resort.
