Who are you?
Darren is one of those people that seem to excel at everything. He's the student council president at his school, is always on the honour role, doesn't get anything below A's, had the lead in the school play, and has won several snowboarding contests and is looking to break out onto the proffesional circuit. But he's not just lucky. It's all from hard work. When he was a child, his mother used to push him fiercely to excel at anything she deemed important. She didn't allow him any 'time off'. He could never just relax, or go to a friends house for anything other than work. His entire day after school was spent on piano lessons or studying. Darren loved the success that come with such hard work, but began to resent how harsh his mother was, that she hardly even let him have a life. One day, they got in a huge fight. Darren had never said such harsh things to his mother in his entire life. That evening, they didn't speak. She went out to pick up his little sister from her after school tutoring. She didn't come back. It turned out that on the way back she got in a car crash. Both Darren's mother, and his sister, were killed instantly. Ever since, he's felt guilty for what his last words to his mother were. He began working harder than ever, attempting to succeed in any area he could. His father, also being a work-aholic with extremely high expectations, encouraged his sons new discipline.

Stubborn and determined to succeed, Darren is extremely hard working and passionate. He always has some sort of project he's trying to do. Often, these projects are abandoned along the way, as he suddenly gains inspiration to do something else. Despite this, he is still very sociable, which just makes him all the busier.
