A traveling wizard who masquerades as an enigmatic merchant even without a mask
Prone to smiling and wearing a happy-go-lucky demeanor, even Adrian himself remains unsure of where the lie started and the truth begins. He blames the changing society for his current carefree state of mind, having lived through an intense period where his kind faced lethal and fiery persecution, where science began to turn his artes into the stuff of fantastic bedtime tales, and the supernatural edged away from humanity, donning temporary masks of mortality in order to blend in with a society that was slowly forgetting them. Very little phases Adrian as he sees life merely as a game or a theatrical play for his secret amusement. His rare remarks are often uttered in a slow, languid manner, as if he had all the time in the world. One of his biggest flaws, however, remains his vanity--something that Adrian refuses to fix, despite it being a point of nagging amusement for those who take the time (and have the ability) to notice the thick illusions he casts about himself. After all, physical hair dyeing techniques and knowledge of fashion aside, he truly is an average man with mud coloured hair...
Born a few, or rather, eight centuries ago, Adrian's exact lineage is questionable, especially since all ties with his family (if he ever had them) have long since been severed. Whether to make a living or to simply amuse himself, Adrian travels across the Continent, representing an important shipping company's interests... or so he claims. It seemed only natural that he would happen across one Lord and Lady Dickinson and befriend them. He has taken a particular fancy to the Dickenson household and expresses their interests in various supernatural dealings throughout his travels.
