Shizuku Shino's Story

Shizuku was walking slowly with her wheel suitcase. She looked like she hasn't been sleeping all night long, but there was pretty much energy in her. Her grandfather brought her with his cart- this is how she travelled. She has been living in the country for several years and the city for her seemed so strange and new. There were so many cars passing by every part of the second. This was stressing for Shizuku since she got used to the peace in the country.

Finally she reached the dorms. After showing her papers, Shizuku went in. A pigeon flew in. "Hello there..." Shizuku said. "Are you lost? Or you probably just liked the place?" The pigeon looked at her, then looked somewhere else. "Nice feathers... It's good that you can fly." The pigeon started flying upstairs. Why would it go there? And what if it gets stuck somewhere? What if it dies? These questions went trough Shizuku's mind and then she followed the bird. She was running upstairs and despite of the fact that the suitcase was loosing some balance from time to time, the girl was pretty fast. She didn't mind the others looking at her.

Shizuku reached the final floor and the pigeon. She opened a window. "Come on, go outside. Come on, be free!" The pigeon didn't move. "Come on!", repeated Shizuku. The bird flew very near her, causing her to gasp and went downstairs. Despite of not showing it, Shizuku got annoyed and ran downstairs after closing the window. She opened the window on the floor they were on. "Shoo! Shoo!" The pigeon finally went outside. "Hi" Shizuku said to the girls that were staring at her. "234...this is it" She unlocked the door and entered. There were two beds. So she might have a roommate. That seemed great to her. "I hope that we'll get along." she thought while looking at the view.

Angel Love
Angel played with her knife, opening and closing it repeatedly. 'Geez... Am I really going to spend my first day at school doing this?' She put the knofe back in her bag and closed it, sliding it into her pocket. "Ahh, there's really nothing to do.... I should go out to see if the teachers are here yet...." Getting up from her seat, she walked out of her room and locked the door. She started walling down the hall and saw one of the dorm rooms open. "Eh?" She peered inside and saw a new girl. "Eh? Ah, sorry... I do believe I'm intruding..." Angel stepped into the doorway and leaned against the wall. "My name's Angel. You look new here. What's your name, dollface?"

World Histoy class, that's her first period class. Sawyer Rose... possibly the only person in the entire Academy that Aria felt that she could moderately get along with. She stormed away from her roommate (she was around all of last year too. Aria hates her, she's way too cheerful and strained and it just pisses her off. Too conventional, tries too hard to be like everyone else. Stupid. Stupid.) They already had their first argument of the new school year, and her books and clothes are stranded all over her bed in a gigantic mess. She groans as she slams the door shut and makes her way towards the Teacher's Lounge, wanting to meet up with Rose.

On the way there, she passed Angel talking to another girl. Aria fixed her gaze upon Angel for a few seconds, hands in her pockets. She doesn't know what to feel about the shy girl. They somewhat get along, but there's always a little something underneath. Aria figures it's probably due to the things they've done together. Aria nods at Angel curtly and she keeps walking, wondering if she had chosen a new victim.

Aria eventually knocked on the door to the lounge. When no one answered, she forced the door open. She starts to call Rose's name, feeling like a helpless child.

After Aria went to the lounge, Shizuku looked at Angel with her black and expressionless eyes. "Hi, Angel. I'm Shizuku and yes, I'm new. Are you my roommate? Or are you in a nearby room?" She rubbed her eye. "Are you new either, or you've been here for a while?" Breeze entered in the room, waving the girls' hair. It was warm and light, bringing some leafs in the room. The pigeon came in again. It landed on Shizuku's head. She took it. The bird wasn't trying to fly away. The brwon-haired girl started petting it. "I really wonder what's with that bird." she said.

Angel Love
Angel saw Aria walk past and nodded to acknowledge her presence. Suddenly, the new girl spoke up, "Hi, Angel. I'm Shizuku and yes, I'm new. Are you my roommate? Or are you in a nearby room? Are you new either, or you've been here for a while?" Angel looked at her and smiled. "Well, I've been here since my freshmen year, and I intend on being a four-year student. I live just a few doors down the hall; Room 230." A breeze blew and a pigeon flew in through the window and landed on Shizuku's head. "I really wonder what's with that bird," She said. "That's kinda cool. You didn't even flinch when the bird landed. Well, I have class. Better get going too, you know?" Angel walked out of the room and began walking down the hallway. 'She apparently likes birds....'

It was time for lunch. The cafeteria was quickly filled by people.
"Hey, aren't you Angel from room 230? Nice to see you again." said Shizuku in her usual calm voice. "For now you're the only one I know here, so do you mind if I join your table?" she asked.

Dianne stopped by the girls. "Angel, honey! You should dress more conservatively, this is a school." The woman was a stereotypicall old-fashioned and conservative adult who can hardly make a bridge to the younger generation and can be very annoying to the youngsters sometimes. However, she doesn't mean to be. Dianne only wants the best for the students and for the school.

When the principal walked away, Shizuku started a randomn subject about "Needles! I don't like needles at all. I even have a serious phobia. Wow, I rarely talk about this. I met you today and shared this with you. I've never done this before..." Shizuku wasn't good at thinking of a subject, so every time she had to start one, her fears are the first things that pop into her head. Even Shizuku herself didn't know why. This girl usually had a positive mind, so good things should come as ideas for a subject instead.

"I always look lonely," Rose countered, rising and crossing to where the were sitting, his tea in hand. "And you should be more respectful."

He sat, analyzed their faces, then looked over at where he had left his food. He had a random student bring it to him, then turned back to the girls.

"So how's my favorite student?"

Shizuku bit one muffin. She didn't take Angel's lack of time to be always around her like offence. Then she thought that the "serial killer" thing was a joke. Oh, how little did she knew...

"How come is this girl so disrespectful?" Dianne wasn't happy for Angel's comeback for sure. "You kinda deserved it" replied Robert. "This is not how you should talk to a kid in this century. When our teachers talked to us like that, the times still had dinosaurs. Muffin?" This wasn't Dianne's biggest problem for now. After lunch she had much work to do.

"Where did you heard from about the serial killer?" Shizuku still decided to ask. She ate the muffin. It tasted really good. the vice Robert looked at the ground, right next to Mr. Rose's seat. "Ha! Look! A pigeon." he said.

"It's 'what have you heard about' or 'what did you hear about,'" Sawyer replied, slipping seamlessly into professional mode. He turned to the principal. "I won't even bother with your grammar."His hand involuntary smacked Robert upside the head.

He turned back to Angel, his brow furrowed. "Who says this?"

Sawyer watched her go, his eyes narrowed suspisciously.

"See you in class, Shino," he said, standing. He walked back to his classroom, his mind distant.

"A serial killer... I hope that this isn't true. Horror movies are interesting to watch, but it's not fun to be in one." Shizuku was thinking while heading to class. "Walking alone is kinda depressing... maybe I should meet some other newbies who have hard time meeting someone too. And I wonder... where is my roommate? I hope that the second bed won't end up empty... Those muffins were great..." One after another, many thoughts crossed Shizuku's mind. She walked near Jake and Zhane, but didn't walk with them since she didn't know them yet. A bee was flying around them.

Zhane raised his eyebrows as he watched the youngster next to him half limp, half hop around. Was the kid handicapped? It didn't seem like it. When he first saw him, the kid was as healthy as a puppy...talkative even. So the problem...Zhane eyed the kid's shoes. Shoes perhaps?

"Is t- your first -re?" he heard portions of what the kid was saying. Zhane merely assumed that he was asking if Zhane was a new to the school, so he nodded, then slowed to a stop.

"You might want to stop? There's something if your shoe, isn't there?" he asked, keeping his eyes on the bee that was around him. Every time the bee came a little too close for comfort, he quickly edged away. He was ready to bolt, but he stood still.

'Fuuuuuu-....' he kept thinking in his mind whenever the bee buzzed towards him.

Shizuku's nose started itching. She scratched it and the relief filled her soul. The happiness didn't last long, because the nose started itching again. Shizuku started takind quick breaths. One last and massive breath expanded her lungs and all of the air got shot tough her nose. The girl covered the massive sneeze with her hands. It was followed by a few smaller sneezes. The last one was even bigger than the first. After it, Shizuku had a good reason to cover her nose. "Excuse me..." she turned to the boys next to her, still covering her nose. "Do you have a tissue?" Shizuku asked.

"Yeah, I'm new. Sorry." Jake said. He didn't mean to be so offensive but it just came out. Jake saw that the girl had a tissue, so he didn't really want to be an awkward aardvark here and offer her another. "Do you know where the cafeteria happens to be?" Jake asked the other girl that joined them. "And you know some pretty girls my age are, perhaps." Jake mumbled pretty quiet hoping she wouldn't have heard him.

Jake knew he'd get along with the girl if he saw her more often instantly. It was because she'd called him kiddo, what his parents used to call him before they passed away. He just nodded and smiled a little. Jake turned to the right and asked loudly "Do you think they'll have mountain dew and pizza in the cafeteria? I mean, they better." He'd said it t no one in general, just said it, hoping someone would respond. Jake thought of how that sounded. Typical teenage boy. Jake usually tried to eat just organic and lots of vegetables but today, he wanted pizza, and they better have pizza, Or else jake would have to order some, and he didn't necessarily like to wait.
