If you want to sing out, sing out and if you want to be free, be free
Helen lives by the rule of "If you want to do something, do it".
She's quirky and has a lust for living, with a quick tounge that sometimes lacks some thinking beforehand. She's at peace with herself and nature but will start a rather emotionally heated discussion if she disagrees with someone.
While not always easy to get along with, once you get on her good side - which might be easier for some and harder for others - she deeply cares and is a compassionate friend.
Her skills lie in becoming a conflict mediator if needed or trying to calm when others are nervous or afraid.
If given a problem she often finds unique and sometimes rather abstruse solutions. Her irrationality and curiousity usually get the better of her, bringing herself and others into situations that might seem... unwise.
Her family is patchwork in the sense that they don't really fit together belief-, style- or personalitywise but still somehow manage to get along.
Her mother is a protestant, her father an atheist, her older bruder a buddhist and her younger sister started to read the Koran. She herself didn't really care.
Helena always was the peacemaker each time her family fought (often it was about gods and the afterlife) until she decided to find out herself. What seemed like a good and rather reasonable idea at that moment, resulted in her death.
With the hope that the smoke in her lungs would cause a near-death experience or she could somehow later send a message to her family, she set the carawan they had in their backyard on fire but the door was blocked by a self that collapsed infront of it. Another one fell against her neck, the force breaking it and killing her immedeatly.
She's got some burns from the incident.
While on one hand she believes you have to leave the past behind and move on, she doesn't know what to think of this new place she arrived at.
