         When the gunshots went off, that's when things got heated up. He heard Emeli shout something about getting the things attention. He was just about to run at it when she yelled at the man firing the gun and ran towards the beast. Alexander quickly ran around to flank the beast. As he got around to its blindside he saw the beast slap Emeli and send her flying. Alexander felt anger well up in his chest. He didn't have enough time to go see if Emeli was okay, so he twirled his staff in the air. He then leveled it towards the beast.

"If this fries you, then you're an innocent puppy. If not, then you're gonna be really pissed!" Alexander yelled as he let loose a ray of light towards the beast. It hit the beast and the ugly thing staggered. It had a burned patch of skin where Alexander hit it. It turned angrily towards him and roared. "Titanspawn... I see." Alexander whimpered to himself. If he was alone, then this wouldn't be a long fight. Thank the gods that he had backup, at least, he hoped he had backup.
