Practically Immortal. She can only be harmed by someone who doesn't want/try to harm her.
For example, she could be harmed if she accidentally fell off a cliff,
but not if she tried to kill herself by jumping, or she could be harmed by a friend being
mind controlled to stab her in the back, but not by an enemy stabbing her in the back.
She also cannot die of old age. She is frozen at 18.
Though 25 years of age, Briar has the appearance of an 18 year old girl. With chocolate colored hair and stormy grey eyes, she is quite beautiful, especially her clear skin, but, in an effort to attract less attention, she hides her face behind a curtain of hair or a book, and wears an outfit that, while flattering, does not draw eyes. Her height is average, so she doesn't stick out of a crowd unles she wore heels, which she doesn't, ever. Though her jacket is tight to her figure, her jeans are baggy, which covers up the fact that she has beautiful tan legs, and is quite shapely. They also down play her upper body's figure, and allows her to pass by without much notice. Her shoes were simply chosen because of practicality, she was born to two mind-reading criminals who lived in Hub Ei and started their lives inside the hub, so they helped with the hiking through the desert when she was younger, and she had grown to love them. As she hates life, she has often tried to kill herself, and simply regenerates, her old body disappearing and her reappearing fully functional. She also tried to cut, and though the scars didn't last, and her tissue quickly regenerated, she enjoyed the pain for a while, until she felt immune to the small amounts of pain and had to go through the annoying blackness of regeneration each time she cut too deep. Then she stopped. She simply keeps going on, and hoping she will accidentally slip off a cliff someday. Until then, she lives.

Briar hates her life. She wants death. She doesn't fear death
for herself, but the pain caused by the death of others.
As an immortal, she has seen her parents die at the age of 9,
and every friend since. Though she's only been alive for
25 years, she's seen death after death, and she envys them.
She feel pain, not because they've passed on, but because
she can't have them anymore to help her through her life.
So, to get used to having no one, she talks to others on a
business level, and never becomes involved in a relationship,
romantic or not. She can listen to those she cares about
very well, and lend an ear, but that selection of people contains
no one. She can give very good advice, because she
weighs all options, and doesn't let her emotions get in the way,
coming up with the best solution. Her lack of compassion
for others, or her practiced block against compassion, allows her
to kill ruthlessly when needed, and makes her formidable,
as she leaves no enemy alive.

Sorry about Briar, her history is a sensitive subject! As a child, Briar lived with her parents,
Tanya and Brayden Ash, until she was 14. As her parents kept up their search for the other
hubs, they schooled her, and searched for her power, as her eyes indicated she had one.
Though they never did tell her what they did to be dropped off in the middle of nowhere,
on her 14th birthday they made it to a hub, but the night after they were pardoned, they
were killed out of revenge. Briar was left alive because she was a child and the murder
sympathized with her because 'you can't choose who parents you'. Soon after, she
found her home at Koulu Halveksittu, having traveled there with a group of three other
kids her age, but she killed one girl when she tried to stab her best friend in the back,
and her two friends thought she was the murderer, so she ran away and made it to the
school by herself. The others never did make it. She's been at the school for nine
years, and the teachers aren't sure whether she's prophecy worthy.
Honestly, Briar doesn't care either way.
