The day started out like any other day, with Kybran waking people up with his usual racket going on in his lab. Loud grinding noises, the occasional sound of electricity flying through the air, welding noises, and other stuff. Not to mention the music blaring on a nearby radio, which was Pendulum - Propane Nightmares: Celldweller Remix. One of his favorite songs. He had a good variety on his playlist, but this was one that he liked a lot. This didn't apply for those who were already awake, or those who slept deeply unless woken up otherwise.
As it played, he danced around a bit, crazy-like, pretending to play a guitar, and mouthing the words. Bouncing a bit on the front of his dragon-like feet, he put on a welding mask, a pair of protective gloves, and got working on a project that was already under construction. He was working on a new automated gun that could be wall-mounted, but it was only in alpha stages, and needed much revision. His previous prototype had exploded, and that was something he was considering for a wall-mounted bomb, but NOT for a gun, so it obviously needed work.
After a few minutes of welding, a new prototype of the wall-mounted gun was finished. Gonna have to think of a shorter name... He thought to himself briefly, before placing it on a wall in front of a target, and activating it. It wound up for a moment, before falling off the wall and smashing up a few of its components. "Dang." Kybran said aloud, picking up as much as he could from the ruined prototype's remains. He placed the scrap on a workbench and started disassembling it, so he could melt down the components and use them later, all while still rocking out a bit to his song.
He threw a few of the disassembled pieces into a large scrap pile that came up to his waist and, considering he's an 8 feet tall half-dragon, that's a big pile. He looked over his blueprint for the wall-mounted gun, and thought of two things: a way to KEEP it secured to a wall, and a shorter name for the device. He paced a bit, but tripped on a spare part and fell to the ground with a loud *THUD.* He slowly sat up, muttering, and rubbing the back of his head, and his back. He stood up after a brief moment, and got back to thinking about how to keep it secured properly, or a way to keep it secured without consuming too much time with setup.

Chris pulled the towel around her as she stepped out of the shower. She sighed when she looked in the mirror, seeing nothing but blood-red eyes and fangs. "Time for blood..." She muttered. After drying off, she went into her room, pulling on her usual punk outfit, something like a school uniform. She grabbed her sunglasses, her bag, and keys, and then left the small apartment. She walked down the street, checking everyone out. Most of the guys had one thing on their mind: Sex.
Typical of the males, she wasn't surprised. Most of the women were worrying about something other, mainly dinner. One male in particular stood out to her: He was thinking only about trapping the woman in front of him.
A stalker? Perhaps. Or maybe just a rapist. She pushed a little deeper into his mind. Definitely just a rapist. She grimaced in disgust, and managed to catch his eye. She winked, and it worked. All of his thoughts immediately went to her, all but forgetting the other woman. She led him away, and eventually turned down a dark alley. The male then had one thought: Stupid girl...she's mine.
He followed her, and caught her from behind. She acted out the part for about a minute, playing the scared young woman. Then she laughed. "And you think I'm the stupid one. Gotcha, sicko."
Ten minutes later, Chris walked out o the alleyway, fangs sheathed and hunger sedated.

Jenny grumbled as she walked out of an abandoned warehouse. Her brown hair waved behind her in the wind, although her clothes didn't at the moment because it was a tight belly shirt and jean shorts. She shook out one of her arms, the other one being broken because of her hollow and light bones. She sighed and closed her forest green eyes, listening for anyone nearby. She quickly opened them when there were definitely no living forms nearby, her back's skin growing brown and kinda fuzzy. A second later, brown hawk wings with white spots stretched from her back and a few feathers fell to the ground. She looked up and her large wings flapped slowly. Once she felt warmed up, her wings took a quick flap down and she burst into the air.
Her wings kept Jenny up as she looked down at the city, looking for a place to grab a snack. Being part hawk, she saw people's details instead of just ants. She finally spotted a place that made fish, at least from what she could tell with the smell of it. She dropped quickly, flapping when she dropped into an alley in order to not break her other arm. She stretched and pulled her wings in. They disappeared in flash, leaving behind only a few slowly falling feather just as they did when they appeared. She straightened out her hair a bit and stepped out onto the sidewalk, turning and walking into the restaurant. She settled down in a seat and relaxed, waiting for someone to take her order.
After about an hour, she walked back out of the restaurant with her stomach filled with fish. She then just walked down the sidewalk, thinking of what to do next that didn't include her broken and quickly mending arm.

Gil stumbled out of his tent and into the alley he called his home. The air smelled sweetly sour indicating the fresh garbage fermenting somewhere around him. The teen looked up to the sky. Although the sun had risen, the light in the alley was scarce due to most of it being blocked out by the tall buildings that created the alley. Gil yawned and set to his mourning stretches. He ignored his growling stomach through his exorcises seeing as stealing food and then getting caught because he pulled something would be a pointless wast of energy. That and the brown haired teen would rather not have a criminal record before he was eighteen.
The seventeen year old walked with his hands in his pockets and his green eyes scanning the crowd that gathered in a open area market. Most of the vendors were tinkerers selling odd looking gadgets. Gil prided himself on having nabbed something in the past from a shady man that had probably had stolen the head-piece himself. Currently, the theft was wearing the stolen equipment. The green, pixel, holographic screen was projected over his left eye. A map of the city was displayed with red dots marking were police were. Cops wore headsets that transmitted a wireless signal and the gadget Gil wore tapped into that signal. After wondering around the market for about five minutes, he scouted out a food stand with only one cop within thirty feet of it.
Gil casually walked to the stand, past the front and pretended to trip and fall in front of the stand. He used the counter to catch himself and in the act, pushed off one of the shish kabobs. The teen discreetly grabbed the kabob with the hand on the ground and turned his arm so the food was hidden from view. The owners of the stand jumped and asked if the young man was okay. He brushed them off with a smile and went on his way. Gil turned a corner before he started eating his food with a satisfied smirk.

Setting his tools down, Kybran looked over the new prototype of his wall-mounted gun. It had more legs than the last one, and was designed to stay secured to a wall. He walked to his little 'firing range' and placed it on a wall, started it up, and looked on in disappointment as it got off no more than 27 shots before falling off the wall.. again. He walked over and picked it up, saying, "Well, at least it isn't broken." He gave it a quick inspection, seeing that only the wall-mounting part wasn't functioning, thankfully.
He walked back over to his workbench and placed the gun on it, reviewed his blueprint again, before dropping his equipment and deciding to take a walk. He was at the door to his lab when he thought: Hm... maybe I should round up some new guild members. That'll be fun, at least.
He went outside of the Guild's HQ, looked around to make sure nobody knew where the entrance was, then took to the skies, with his powerful wings guiding the air current to allow flight. He was observing the streets from above, when his stomach reminded him he hadn't eaten breakfast. He scanned quickly for the nearest place to get food, and he noticed a small bakery he was passing over.
Kybran flew in low then landed, walked into the bakery, ordered some fresh bread, paid the cashier, obtained the bread, and walked back out. He ate all of it rather quickly, but that wasn't abnormal. He was about to take to the skies again, when he noticed a hawk neko girl walk out of a nearby restaurant. It wasn't very common that you found a hawk neko (is that right?) walking around this area of town, so he approached her.
As he drew closer, his eyes began to drift along her figure, and he almost got tangled up in his own thoughts, but he quickly shook it off. There was no telling if he would ever get another chance to talk to someone like this. He stopped a few feet away and cleared his throat, then stuttered out, "..um, e-excuse me, miss? May I.. *ahem* speak with you?"

Jenny's eyes darted to her side when a man, apparently a Draconian(just a fancy term for half human half dragon), started walking towards her. She narrowed them as he seemed to inspect her body, yet she couldn't help but stop when he walked up to her. He was still a few feet away, which was good for her. Enough space for a quick take off in the case of an attack. The wing tattoo on her back grew slightly brown as she was prepared to make a quick get away. "..um, e-excuse me, miss? May I.. *ahem* speak with you?" She smirked. "Yeah, I have the time. All the time in the world, at least until night. That's when the mice come out." She chuckled a bit, although her eyes were looking around at all the people nearby. "But let's get away from the crowd. I have a feeling this isn't just a friendly chat."
She turned and walked, turning into an alley and making a sign for him to follow her. An even better place. The shadows could confuse him while I get away. Not that I couldn't take him on hand-to-hand... what am I kidding? I'm so weak he'd be able to overtake me either way since he has wings like mine. Only probably more powerful. She stopped once she felt they were a good distance into the alley and turned. She put a hand on her hip and frowned. "Okay, what's this about? I actually don't have much time before I get bored again."

Kybran only gave a weird smile when Jenny chuckled, and then she invited him to chat with her in an alley. An alley? He thought to himself, What, is she trying to mug me, or something? "svabol tepoha si itrewictor sio sari?" He whispered to himself, following the hawk girl into the alley.
He tried to avoid making eye contact with her while he walked, but his line of sight occasionally drifted back to her. She's.. kinda pretty.. he started to think, but he quickly shook off this thought. Not the time for that. He stopped when she did, and looked away again when she turned around. She put her hand on her hip and frowned, as though she were upset, but other visual signs tols Kybran that she was not upset.
"Okay.." Kybran started, "Si huven ekess ukris ekess.. oh, wait. Sorry, I was speaking in Draconic." He said, his cheeks going slightly red as he rubbed the back of his head. "What I meant to say was; I want to talk to you about joining this guild I'm in. Here, we even have flyers." He said, reaching into one of his pockets and pulling out one of the flyers for his guild. "We're looking for a few extra hands around, and I think you might be the sort of person we had in mind." He handed the flyer to her, then waited for a response.
Kybran suddenly realized his manners had gotten away from him. "Oh, where are my manners?" He asked, but he expeceted no answer. "My name's Kybran. What's yours?"

"Si huven ekess ukris ekess.. oh, wait. Sorry, I was speaking in Draconic." Jenny smirked. "I figured. Draconians speak Draconic, that's a given." She gave a slight yawn. "What I meant to say was; I want to talk to you about joining this guild I'm in. Here, we even have flyers." She took the flier and looked at it carefully.
She looked up at him as he spoke. "We're looking for a few extra hands around, and I think you might be the sort of person we had in mind." She laughed to herself. "Me? You've got to be kidding." She wiggled her broken arm a bit. "The only thing I'm good at is spying and quick getaways. If you had any information about me, you'd know first and foremost that I break as easily as a toothpick." She laughed and pulled the cast off of her arm, flexing it. "Then again, I do heal just as quick. Break easy, heal fast." She smirked.
"Oh, where are my manners? My name's Kybran. What's yours?" She held in another laugh and sighed. "I'm Jenny. So, based on this whole conversation, you didn't know a thing about me? Other than me being part hawk, of course." She accidentally let out a giggle and quickly stopped. She punched herself mentally for letting it escape before continuing. "So, Kybran, what's this guild? Is it a gang, a hang out for friends, or just a bunch of random people talking about what they're going to do without doing it?" She smirked.

Kybran would have responded right then, but a smell caught his nose, and it was one he could not ignore. The scent of fresh blood being spilt, and a particular species which would be particuarly handy to the guild. He decided to quickly finish up the conversation so he wouldn't miss the opportunity. "Nice to meet you Jenny, and no worries, we always have a use for scouts. Our guild's kind of a gang, and I gotta go. There's someone that I have to meet. Just go to the address on the flier, hang a left, and check by the big forked tree at Noon. Hope to see you there!" With that, he gave a great flap of his wings, and took to the skies with a *SWOOSH*, sending papers and other light objects around in a flurry.
He sniffed the air as he flew above the city, following the scent of this vampire, or maybe even half-vampire, by the smell of it. He eventually pinpointed where the scent was originating from, and landed in a nearby alley.
He walked out of the alley and spotted the source of the scent, who looked to be a half-vampire. Good, we can always use more non-humans. Kybran thought to himself. He started approaching her, trying to not make eye contact so he wouldn't make a fool of himself. He stopped a few feet away from the half-vampire as he had done with the hawk girl, looked at her, and said, "Uh, excuse me, miss?" He choked up for a second before regaining his composure; "Nomag si tepoha vi lex mrith wux?" Wait, that's Draconic. She probably doesn't know what it means. He thought to himself, before saying, "Uh, what I meant to say was.. May I have a word with you?"

"Nomag si tepoha vi lex mrith wux?"
She had heard him coming well before he landed and spoke. She knew what he was, but didn't think he would speak in Draconic. Even most Draconians no longer knew the language. She had been intent on ignoring him, but this made her turn half-way around to look at him through one blue eye. Her expression was all but emotionless.
"Winhal, shar xurwk coi qeelak ghoros si thirku sia ricin." (Fine, but make it quick before I change my mind) She spoke the language clearly, no doubt throwing the young man off. "Besides, you just ran off and left that hawk neko very quickly, that's no way to recruit people. Quite rude, actually." She had a bored tone, but as an undertone, it seemed to hold something dangerous.

Kybran was definitely thrown off by what this person, or vampire, or half-vampire, said. How did she know that I was talking to a hawk neko, and how does she know Draconic? He thought to himself. "Wux renthisj Vs'shtak. Svanoa? Ergriff dahakoan vucot nomeno xanalre." He responded to her in Draconic, "Lyrik loupon batobot, svanoa tira wux vucot ekess svave si jahus ukrisir?" He asked. He looked around for a moment, noticing the strange stares from passersby. He turned back to the girl, saying, "Vsist, coi geou likely korep ptaual jalla yth zexenuma ekik persvek wer nif. Yth jalla ukris voga goawy." Kybran motioned for her to follow then walked into a nearby building, which had only one person in it, and that was a cashier.

Kybran said, before opening his wings, giving a powerful flap, and taking to the skies once more.
He flew for a bit, before landing back near the guild entrance. He was about to go back inside, when he thought, Hm, I only recruited 2 today. Why not try a third? He took to the air once more, then searched for candidates to recruit to the guild.
Finding no other likely recruits, he landed by an average-looking human male, asking, "Hey, can I have a word with you?"

Just go to the address on the flier, hang a left, and check by the big forked tree at Noon. Hope to see you there!" Jenny put her arms into a defensive position as wind erupted around her, so much that she almost got blown away. Once he was gone, she lowered her arms and had a scowl on her face. "Well, isn't he rude. Leaving to talk to someone else? That's REALLY rude." She sighed. "But at least I know what's going on now." She pulled the flier out of her pocket and stared at it for a few seconds. "Maybe this would be a good chance to spread my wings." She laughed a little. "Literally." She then shoved the flier back in her pocket, an explosion of feathers reaching from her back as the wing tattoo disappeared. She gave a single strong flap downwards and burst up, although it didn't scatter things as much as Kybran's did. She then looked around and headed for her destination, not using her ability to go way faster.
Jenny checked the address twice before reassuring herself that this was the right intersection. She went to the left and kept walking until she reached a small park. The forked tree was easy enough to spot due to how it was larger than the rest. She flapped her wings until she was a bit higher before going forward and getting to the tree. Once she reached it, she landed on a branch and sat down, folding in her wings. She looked down and watched people go by, waiting to see if one would stop. I wonder how this gang he had been talking about works...

Gil had been walking aimlessly around the market looking for targets. His hair was pushed into his hat to make for a quick disguise if things got heated and he had to run from cops. The teen was about to steal a rather portly man's wallet when a gust of wind hit him. Gil's head snapped to see exactly what had interrupted him. It was half-dragon guy and the teenager noted with distaste that he had also cought the attention of the man he was trying to steal from.
"Hey, can I have a word with you?"
Gil stiffened and eyed the man. "I don't know, can you? You're not a cop or somethin', are you?"
'Damn him!' Gil thought,'That old man looked like he had something good on him...'

Chris sighed, wondering just why she had come. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the hawk neko. So he did manage to convince her...interesting. However, she didn't see Kybran. Must still be out recruiting... She entered the guild. A few aproached her, but the most part, she made them back off, hissing att hem slightly. She was in no mood to talk to any of them.
"Svabol vi loerchik persvek wer tzarreth...svabol mi si tirir tenpiswo?" She muttered to herself, getting looks of confusion from those who heard her, and it didn't surprise her. Not being Draconic, obviously, she was not supposed to know the language. Boy, did she have a few surprises for these people.
