Habits: If heās been standing or sitting still for too long, heāll start to fidget. Heāll tap his foot against the ground, drum his fingers on the nearest flat surface, rub his fingertips together or any of the above.

Dislikes: Classical music, narrow spaces, sitting still, reading, eating at a table, being the audience of a play, people who donāt shut up, people who donāt stop whining, defeatists, nihilists, and the colour salmon. He doesnāt know why he doesnāt like that colour; it just rubs him the wrong way.

Personality: Kastin is a very expressive person. He likes making a mark on people and showing them his character through fighting, running and talking. Thanks to his unique circumstances, he believes himself to be truly one-of-a-kind and wants other people to know it. In his own words, he wants to āshine brighter than anybody elseā.
Although he seems like a braggart (and he is, to a degree), he does wish for the best for others. He wants to make the world a better place and he wants to stop the suffering of others. He was made to be the hero of Edasler Bria and he wants to fulfil that fate, for the coven and for the people currently suffering. Heās currently focusing his efforts on small-scale heroics in the city but he really wants to branch out...

Skills/Talents: Parkour, physical labour, minor wizardry, minor potion brewing, minor sigilism, minor bojutsu, acrobatics.
Strengths: Close combat, mid-range combat, endurance, speed, agility.
Weaknesses: Confined spaces; Kastin likes having a lot of room to move around in so fighting in cramped spaces is not his specialty. If he finds himself surrounded, his first reaction will probably be to back out and make some distance.
Powers: Even before his birth, Kastin was altered with spells and potions and charms and sigils to grow as the worldās greatest hope. His physical prowess far exceeds that of any regular human, granting him immense strength, incredible durability, lightning reactions and amazing speed. His body is highly resistant to foreign substances like poisons. His senses are highly attuned.
Kastinās main power, however, is his manipulation of light. He can form hard light, fire light rays from his body or manipulate light for visual effects.
One more thing: thanks to the wizards, Kastin also has the power to absorb and utilise the power of the goddess fragments. His body is specifically designed for this.
Abilities: Unfortunately, Kastinās rather low-powered right now due to being kidnapped right when he was supposed to be empowered. Still, at the very least, he can use his photokinesis to blind enemies, create temporary barriers or surfaces, cast light and blast enemies with rays of light even if they are of limited finesse, power and control.
By exerting himself, Kastin can āgo Novaā. His blood vessels and eyes glow with white light, further enhancing his already formidable abilities. This ability taxes him, however, by draining him of his mana and wearing his body out. After going Nova for a short time, Kastin needs rest and food to properly recover. Going Nova for long periods of time is extremely dangerous, at least at the level of power Kastin is at right now.
Weapon of Choice: He doesnāt use it all too often but he carries a collapsible staff with a circular head wherever he goes to avoid showing off his powers and giving himself away to his enemies.
Fighting Style: Kastin likes to fight by charging in, spraying the opponent with ranged attacks as he goes, throwing punches and kicks when he gets close, getting away, firing more ranged attacks on the retreat, going around the enemy while firing and then closing in again. Itās all a matter of hitting and running and staying on the move to Kastin.

Romantic Interest: None at the moment
Family/Significant Individuals: Kastinās parents were Leoy and Evene Vylicht. The both of them were wizards in the <> coven who partook in the experiment to create a superhuman. The more notable of the other wizards were:
- Kodyn Yelue, a not bad but definitely not great wizard that was essentially his nanny, giving his parental aid to Leoy and Evene;
Vael Rossa, a somewhat brash wizard but she taught Kastin in the art of magic, sigilism and close-combat well;
Markit Perlin, who took it upon himself to show Kastin how he brewed magic potions for the coven;
Prash Leviair, an elderly man who nevertheless diligently taught Kastin about the world around him and its customs and history;
Illana Perlin, Marcytās sister who was in charge of retrieving the goddess fragment. She spends her days inside the hideout until her prowess for stealth is required again;
Witlan Graeswor, who helped Illana recover the goddess fragment and also remains hidden;
Gellis Unworse, who also helped Illana recover the goddess fragment and also remains hidden;
Rychlia Naldeiswyt, she who lead the coven and a very powerful wizard in her own right; and
Inacy Diestrul, who didnāt see Kastin all that much on account of being responsible for getting supplies from the city but sheās the one who kidnapped Kastin and betrayed the coven.
Thanks to many sigils, spells and potions and especially thanks to Leoy and Evene Vylicht, Kastin was born. The other wizards of the coven also chipped in to raise Kastin well. They taught him many things of magic, of the world around him, of the art of combat and, most importantly, of the people that needed salvation. They taught him everything he would need to know to fight for the sake of an entire world.
But, of course, they had one more tool to bestow upon Kastin; the goddess fragment. By making him drink very special potions influenced with the fragmentās power and drawing a very intricate network of sigils on his body, the wizards enabled Kastin to absorb the fragmentās power. Kastin attempted to on his tenth birthday but, even for his enhanced body, the fragmentās power proved to be too much for him to handle. The wizards wisely decided to postpone the ritual for a later time.
Kastinās fifteenth year of living felt as if it came more quickly than it did. He prepared himself for the ritual with the wizards, rechecking the sigils and drinking the potions again. However, the gatekeepers entered the hideout in a rush, telling everyone the army had arrived. All of a sudden, the army stormed into the coven, demanding to know where Kastin was. Right before then, Inacy took him away to hide him... and more. As it turned out, she sold the coven out and promised to deliver Kastin to the city to stop their anarchy from destroying the peace the city had achieved. A plan that would have gone swimmingly had Kastin not knocked her out and fled. Now heās on the run. Not that this deters him; heās still chipper and willing to fight.
