Vices: Edward is very straight forward and impatient not waiting around for decisions unless they are very important he also feels ill of people who are overly quiet and sad he is also very blunt when it comes to arguments not sparing the person even a little

Skills: Edward is very strong and tough often resorting to brute force when in a fight being slower than most and considerably tall for his age he is not one for fast agile assaults though he is good with swords and daggers he is a poor shot with a bow

A young blue eyed light browned haired Edward grew up with his mother Elizabeth who tried to protect Edward from the tyranny of Edwards father Johnathan who constantly harassed his mother over custody of Edward. When Edward was 10 his father resorted to physical bullying of Edwards mother, one day Edwards mother was cleaning when his father busted through the small rotted wooden door of their shack and beat his mother...to death. Edward found his mother after getting home from fishing he kneeled beside her and cried a single tear due to constantly trying to be a tough guy he then found a small rag next to her body which was probably torn off from the splintered plank they had tried to fix but failed. He took that rag and knew instantly who it was from, his father had done this and left "that coward!" Edward exclaimed and began packing up his meager supplies before setting out to find his father in port royale when he was 12. He then learned that his father had become a captain of an English frigate. Out of money and time Edward was stuck in port royale with a burning rage for his father deep inside him.

He then spent his time in port royale helping those in need such as beggars or people with debts they could not pay Edward usually talked his way out of situations but when he had to fight he had an upper hand usually due to the fact every provoker was slim and rather weak so Edward beat the sense into them easily due to his impressive strength for his age which was 13 he stayed in port royale until he was 14 in that time period he met a starving Retriever on the side of the road. feeling bad for the animal he fed it some bread and afterward it followed Edward around, Edward without a single care he took the dog as his pet he named it Captain after his dream of sailing. One day as him and Captain were strolling down the pier he saw a ship pull into port a fairly sized sloop with a pure black flag, he knew then and there he wanted to be a crew member of it. He slowly approached the captain looking at the ship all the while right before he bumped into the sturdy chest of the man he stepped back apologizing of course. He started off with the usual wonderful weather icebreaker but then the captain interrupted him "Cut to the chase boy" he said looking down with no emotion.

Edward liked this man, he looked up at the man making eye contact and said it straight away "I want to join your crew". He said with no fear in his voice the captain then sized him up looking behind him periodically at the dog then said "We will see if you have what it takes as a cabin boy" Edward was taken aback he knew this meant he got to go on the ship but also knew the captain could drop im at the next port "Where is your mother boy?" the captain asked casually "dead" Edward said quickly in answer the captain said nothing in turn and led him to the ship. After a small tour the captain stopped at his cabin and nodded for him to enter "here you are boy, now remember break the rules of this ship and I will not hesitate to throw you and that dog overboard" and with that the captain left leaving Edward to himself and his new life aboard this ship he looked down to Captain and smiled "Well boy we made it we finally made it...lets get unpacking"
