Take away any armor here. He is usually found in this attire with a plain white t-shirt and his boot's black. Roy also wears a black bucket hat with a skull on the front of it.

Pirate or Marine: Pirate

Powers: Ya Ya fruit (arrow arrow) Allows Roy to set up arrows that point a certain direction forcing the person standing on top of it to fly that direction. The number of arrows he can create is limited until Roy improves his power.
For the sake of not making this to powerful Roy can only put his arrows on surfaces and not in the air as of yet. (For instance he could just put arrows facing towards the sky so when you fell your dead or at the sea for other devil fruit users.)

Skills: Helmsman. He does not have advanced knowledge but enough to keep a ship going for quite a while.
Weapon: Spear in the picture.

Personality: Roy is mostly confident and brash like most young men. He thinks he can take on the world and anybody in it. Many say that he's going to get into trouble with the wrong person someday and it'll be the end of him with which he replies, "Then that's as far as I was meant to go." Always in a fairly good and happy mood some people enjoy his company while others find it irritating. He is a go with the flow kind of person but doesn't hang around in one spot to often many times leaving him alone. Roy hopes to one day find a place where he likes the people to stick with them going on adventures.
