{ I am a 19 year old girl, born and raised in Oklahoma. I know, this story is already tragic, but let me tell you, it gets worse. Thanks to my excellent ACT score, I was accepted into the college of my dreams: Seattle Pacific. This was wonderful (at first) but I soon realized that I as completely and utterly alone in this new city. Even worse, my best friend moved to the other side of the United States, leaving me all alone. I'm too embarrassed to go home and cry to mama and daddy, but I'm too afraid to go on in Seattle. Maybe this New Year's with my friend will help or maybe it will make me more homesick. Whatever happens, I'll still be me. I'll still like rock and roll, hockey and coffee every morning. I'll still hate country music, failure and Marilyn Monroe. I just hope something changes soon! }
