A socially awkward student of engineering.
Socially awkward, but extremely friendly, Kenneth often finds himself being described as childish, and "cute" by the bolder of his female friends and acquaintances. Inside his comfort zone, however, Kenneth is a very optimistic and fun person to be around, who also happens to be extremely loyal, for it takes a lot to earn his complete trust and comfort, but it is well earned, for he will do nearly anything for someone he considers a friend. And he'll do a lot already for just an acquaintance, being a generous person.
Proclaimed a "nerd" by most around him throughout his life, it occured to him that this was nothing to be ashamed of. He embraces who he is, who happens to be a nerd. The way his mentor explained it to him was "Nerds rule the world, so why be ashamed of what you are? Just look at Google!" From then on, Ken embraced his inner nerd, and in turn, became a very confident person, whose self esteem is always higher than it really should be, despite his quiet disposition.
Always carrying his high quality, black, leather mail bag, Kenneth will have a myriad of tools on him at any given moment.
- Cell phone
- iPod touch
- Kindle
- Set of screwdrivers
- Soldering gun
- Set of wrenches (hexagonal and Allen)
- Engineering notebooks (Isometric lined)
- Pens galore
- Netbook laptop
Though, aside from his technology and schoolwork, Ken will never leave home without his lucky silver dollar, which was given to him by his high-school mentor.
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Ken was always an intelligent young man. Though as American society predicted, he paid dearly for it at a young age. Facing a plethora of bullies, and ridicule sent the boy into a pit of depression, rage, and confusion, seeming like it wouldn't end for him. At least, not in the near future. Though Kenneth was able to keep his sanity by releasing his fury with music, and writing. He wrote stories of war, and plague, and grew up on the succulent milk of Metal, the genre's heavy riffs and violent, screaming lyrics an output for his own hidden desires. Though through all of this, Ken was able to maintain his innocent appearance, fooling many of the people around him into thinking he never would delve into such dark fantasies.
Though, some time into high school, Ken's anger and despair could no longer be quelled by his writings, and music. His grim attitude began to show on his face, and the way he dressed, his eyes tired and bored, clothes slowly fading into darkness. His parents took notice quickly, as did his friends, and teachers. They all worried for the troubled young man, his usual friendly disposition drowned in that apathetic stare of his. A few weeks of this had passed, when Kenneth met a man named Seth Peasley. He was a programmer for a local engineering firm, who seemed to recognize Ken's plight. The two soon became good friends, Ken deciding what he wanted to do with his life because of this man. Seth also helped Ken out of his dark spiral, giving him a rebuttal to every microbe of torment he'd ever gotten for being who he was. Ken soon returned to the boy he once was, the hole he'd fallen into sealed up tight.
Now out of high school, and in his 3rd year of college, Kenneth has moved to Bay City for its marvelous technological institute, Bay Tech.
